Export Regulations
Compliance with customs rules and regulations must be followed in order to properly import and
export goods. In regards to import regulations the importer of record files the customs entry using
the US Customs 7501 form. The importer of record can also file the US Customs release with
3461 form. It is up to the importer to arrange the exam and release of goods. The following
documentation is required with entry: bill of lading, commercial invoice and packing list. Another
requirement for imports is to have a Customs bond filed to cover the value of the cargo. For export, it
is required to submit the shipper s export declaration (SED) through the automated export system

Theodore Fujita s Life
If you always do what interests you, at least one person is pleased (Katharine Hepburn). This was
true for Doctor Tetsuya Theodore Fujita. All the way up to his death he studied that which interested
him. Even being ill and bedridden didn t stop him. A colleague James Partacz was quoted saying that
[h]e did research from his bed till the very end . It was on October 23, 1920 that Tetsuya Fujita was
born. He lived on the island of Kyushu in Kitakyushu City, the southernmost island of Japan. His
mother, Tomojiro Fujita, and father, Yoshie Fujita, named him Tetsuya, meaning philosopher . At a
young age Fujita became interested in maps after he taught himself surveying techniques. A clever
child, Heidorn mentions that in his youth he visited... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
With help from the National Severe Storms Laboratory, he studied thousands of miles of damage
created by hundreds occurring in April 1974. He discovered that downdrafts from the storms had
enough strength to reach the ground and create unique damage patterns. His theory was met with
skepticism until in 1978 when the National Center for Atmospheric Research aided him in his
research. They went to Chicago and detected 52 downbursts in 42 days. Fujita showed that damage
that had thought to be done by tornadoes was actually caused by downbursts. Fujita was quoted
saying that After I pointed out the existence of downbursts, the number of tornadoes [listed] in the

Essay on Free Will
Free Will
A definition of free will, as we have seen, can be misunderstood and easily distorted. For the
purpose of this essay free will, will be defined as the ability to chose, express ones feelings,
emotions, or actions unconditionally.
From the first time I understood the meaning of what free will was, I believed in it 100%. I had the
right and ability to choose what ever I liked. Not only did I believe that I had free will but if I
ever heard otherwise I felt that the other person did not have a clear understanding of what free will
was, and as a result I could demonstrate a fairly strong persuasive argument opposing anything but
the existence of free will. I would illustrate a situation in which there seemed to be no ... Show more

I grew up in a household where I was taught that I was and will always be free. I also never had
any religious affiliation within my first 8 years of schooling, which might have influenced me to
think differently. The illustration of a gun to ones head is also rooted within the environment of
others as well as my own. We can assume that the majority of people would want to live in that
situation and therefore follow what is being asked of them. Now is that there free will? I don t
think so. The fact that they choose to live is based on their enjoyment of life and there lessons that
they have been taught by their upbringing, this is their environment. The same would be true on an
extreme end. Somebody may make the decision to not obey and sacrifice his or her life because of
extreme misery and discontent. Furthermore, the reason for the unhappiness may be a result of
heredity. The victim s mother could have used drugs, or something similar that which had an effect
on her child.
God plays an interesting role in this explanation of free will. Presently, after having about 7 years
of religious education I feel like I am educated enough to speak of God. I believe that people can
be affected by God within there decision making and often have God make the choice for them. For
example, the choice to remain celibate until marriage, that is God s wishes
The Themes Of Contemporary Art
In this essay, I would be demonstrating how the topic of contemporary art and the politics of art
institutions reflects and relates to Rajni Perera s 3 figures and VHT. With formal analysis of these
artworks and readings from this topics, I would show the differences and similarities between these
topics. Contemporary artrepresents what we see as individuals in society today, it does not follow
the set rules of art. For instance, modern art looks and follows modernist theories, likewise,
impressionisms which looks at our perception and understanding of a moment through light and
color in contrasts to that of realism which represents subject matter accurately without any
alteration or addition. On the other hand contemporary art does not have one conclusive or
definitive view. Its view is versatile and flexible which reflects the diversity of the world today,
themes of contemporary are notably about politics, globalization, social issues, migration and
technology. In like manner, the theme I drew from Perera s artworks which is diversity. Perera is
Sri Lankan artist, who grew up and was raised in Scarborough and North York. I find her works
diverse notably in the materials she chose. She uses laundry drying racks which are unconventional
materials to create her VHT sculpture. She does not conform to the regular norms of using clay or
plaster. I also found this as a reoccurring theme of contemporary art and the Migrating the Margins
exhibition at the Art Gallery of
Greater Collaboration In School
I have been asked by Principal Smith to suggest ways in which teachers at our school might work
more effectively together.
Collaboration is certainly an important goal. It can foster greater cooperation among teachers and
promote mutually beneficial interaction between us. It will encourage sharing of the best methods
we know, which ultimately will allow us provide our students the best educational opportunities we
can offer.
Here are a few suggestions for how we might accomplish the goal of greater collaboration. Increasing
communication between us is a large component of this goal, and by using our most powerful
communication tool, the school intranet, we can share recent ideas and our most successful methods.
This will encourage a dialogue
Examples Of Dehumanization In Metropolis
This weekend I watched on Netflix the film Metropolis (1927, Fritz Lang) and from the film I have
found some detailed examples about how the movie itself expresses the German Expressionist theme
of alienation/dehumanization resulting from the industrial revolution that moved laborers from
agriculture/farm life to factory life in the city. The first example that relates to this theme would be
when the movie begins and the underground dwelling workers toil to operate the underground
machines that power the city while the higher class people are living better lives. This stands out to
the theme because it provided a vivid visual of the underground dwelling workers working very
hard to keep the city going and in return they weren t appreciated
African Art s Influence On The Culture Of The World
Introduction African art has played an important role in the culture of the world. The sculpture is
the most common traditional culture expression for the African art. The different sculptures are
shown by their local styles and they serve for the specific functions, such as religion. From some
of these old art pieces, we figure out this kind of traditional culture expression already existed in
the African for such a long time. In this paper, the art piece I am going to analyze is the Female
Figure with Child and it made by Akan Asante people. The Akan people of Ghana have been
recognized for their various and attractive culture and it located in what are today Ivory Coast and
the republic of Ghana in Western African. The Akan people are combined by different groups,
such as the Anyi, Akawpim, Akyem, Aowin and Asante, and these people have their own dialect,
but they share a lingua franca, which called Twi. The sculpture I choose could effectively reflect
its own distinctive culture, because of the social connection reflect on the royalty, the comparison
with other local art pieces, like Akuaba fertility dolls and its specific art form. Formal analysis
Female Figure with Child was made by Akan Asante people from Ghana and it is 45.1cm high. It
combined wood, beads and pigments together. It is stored in the University of Iowa Museum of Art
right now and it belongs to the Stanley Collection. It only has a little damage on baby figure s leg
but the overall condition of
Susquehanna River Essay
The health of the Susquehanna River and Chesapeake Bay was found based on Biological
(macroinvertebrates and wildlife) and Chemicals characteristics (pH, dissolved oxygen, phosphates,
nitrates, etc.) as well as physical observations (amount of forested buffers, wetlands, etc.) Overall it
was concluded that the health of the water was good to excellent. What was found was that many of
the macroinvertebrates found in the water were sensitive or facultative, meaning the water quality
was good enough for them to live in. Also, the level of ph, temperature, dissolved oxygen,
phosphates, nitrates, and turbidityshowed that the water quality was good. Finally, while we were
canoeing down the Susquehanna River, observations were made on the land... Show more content on

Underwater grasses, or Elodea, was observed as well. This wide variety of life is a good indicator of
the water s health.
The chemical characteristics observed and documented were pH, temperature, phosphate, nitrate,
turbidity, and dissolved oxygen. Each of these chemical levels were documented and found
differently. Most were found using a kit or a device. The numbers found, would tell us how
polluted the stream was and how much nutrients were in the water. Each chemical has a scale for
telling what a good level is and what a bad level is. If an excess amount of nutrients was found in
the water, algae could be formed. When algae is formed it blocks sunlight from shining into the
water, which creates dead zones. This is called eutrophication. A dead zone is an area where there is
no life. This can cause major problems like population issues and more. If the algae continues to
grow in the river, the whole body of water can die out, and people as well as other organisms are
very dependent on the Susquehanna. While on the river though, there was an absence of algae, so
sunlight is able to get through the water, which is very good.
Physical characteristics are important as well. While canoeing, many things were observed and
notices. Tires were seen at the bottom of the river. This is most likely because of the highway that
runs on both sides or the river, and over it on bridges too. Because of the highway, there is a high risk

Wes Anderson Cinematic Style Essay
Wes Anderson Cinematic style
The filming industry has greatly changed in the last couple of decades. Unlike in the past, the
modern times have seen great transformations in the filming world with the emergence of a clique of
celebrated film directors and developers. Whereas films were mainly praised on how the character
and the characterization including, much attention has been given to film directors and developers
with regard to the tastes and preferences as may be demonstrated by the way their films have been
designed and arranged. Continued specialization in script writing and development of films has
brought out the nature of preferences and leanings of various directors, a situation that has resulted
in what is today regarded to as the cinematic style. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Indeed, this is a very unique feature that can be used in recognizing the contributions of the film
director in as far as the modern film is concern. From the 1990 s, one would easily categories
Anderson s cinematic style as one that incorporates more quirky comedy and the whimsical motifs in
terms of allowing nostalgia to supremely reign, staging children to have existential importance,
designing families to meet in strangest of the places, incorporation of strange human conversation
and interaction, presentation of art as being more important than any other thing in the world,
staging obsessed and self absorbed characters, providing for every other thing to be extraordinarily
rectilinear and the presentation of children as more adult than adults.
Anderson s films are known for allowing nostalgia to supremely reign. This is one of the strongest
characteristics of
