The Influence Of J. S. Mill On Liberty
1) J.S MILL On Liberty
Mills take On liberty is similar to Huntington s argument on clash of civilization because mills
believe that society will always have diversity. The fact that people of different belief will co exist
but liberty and freedom of an individual is vital in keeping a society oppression free. In an attempt
to answer question One section C, I will discuss J.S Mill theory On liberty for an individual and the
society.
Mill believes in the individual and his freedom to exercise his rights a person so long it does not
harm others. That no one should be forced or pressured into doing things against their will and
not even society, forceful ruler ship and public opinions of other should interfere in an individual s
decisions. According Mill individual liberty is a good thing to major extent because he think it is a
means to protect citizens form illegitimate leadership. The citizens had Political liberty to serve as a
watch dog for the government in the case they abused their political power. The citizens could
impeach such leaders if they found guilty. This kind of liberty makes the political leaders active and
keep them on their toes. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Their government became their servants and will have do anything people wanted. This type of
system was the direct opposite of a tyrant government , an extreme form democracy where the
citizens make all the decisions. The government becomes a puppet with no opinion. The problem
with this system is that government is also made up people (less of the population) therefore the
majority becomes oppressive to the minority . This is what happen in the modern day society where
the majority imposes their standards on
Albus Dumbledore Letters
Albus Dumbledore sighed and looked at the pile of letters to be delivered to this year s first years.
When his fire place glowed green and three letters shout out and landed on the hearth. Standing up
he walked over to the fire place and picked up the three letters and walked back to his desk and
began to read. The first letter read Albus Dumbledore, I have received word that Voldemort is
trying to rise again, and that he is not only after The Boy Who Lived but a wizard from England;
Arthur Kirkland, who not only possesses a rare type of magic but can also use Black Magic. So as

The Effects Of Cadmium On The Human Body
Currently, I am working on an independent research project with Dr. Barbara Fishel regarding the
possibility of reducing the toxicity levels of certain widespread chemicals that lead to deadly
cancers and diseases. I am trying to replicate the effects on Cadmium on the human body by using
Zinc on fruit flies and looking at effects on reproduction and behavior. Once I understand the
effects of Zinc as well as how that is similar and different to the effects of Cadmium, I plan to find
ways to reduce the toxicity of Cadmium. This independent study has instilled a lot of beneficial
qualities in me. One of the most important would have to be focusing on the process rather than the
goal. In the classroom, my primary focus is the goal partly due to
Physics Of Volleyball
The Nature of Physical Activity
1.There are numerous fitness factors that are required for successful performance in the sport of
volleyball. Using the data from Figure 1, identify and analyse three major fitness factors utilised in
the game of volleyball. When are these most likely to be used in a match?
Power is a crucial fitness factor in the game of volleyball. Upper body power is necessary in order to
execute common volleyball moves such as a serve or block but also higher velocity shots, for
example, a spike which travel at an average of 112 128km/hr. However, to even have the chance to
perform a shot such as a spike or block, the player must have enough lower body power to jump and
reach above the net.
On the other end, players require ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Progressive Overload After about three weeks of training I will increase the intensity of our
trainings to ensure that their anaerobic and aerobic fitness is improving and will be at its peak when
the championships come around.
Recovery As a team expectation, players will have to take an ice bath after each training and then
stretch and roll out their muscles with a foam roller to maximise their muscle recovery by our next
session.
Specificity I am also going to identify each of my players weaker attributes and create a training
plan to improve it. For example, if an athlete is struggling on their vertical leap then I will give them
training to strengthen their calves and quadriceps.

phases of the training year. Elaborate on the characteristics, in terms of activities, exercise, forms of

The Departed Essay
The film is not your regular police story but about how the police is going against the same strategy
they are using. The Departed tells the tale of how a police officer was placed undercover in the Irish
Mob and the Irish mob vice versa placed a mole in the police force. The film was directed by Martin
Scorsese and released in 2006. Scorsese directed other well known crime films like Goodfellas,
Casino, and Gangs of New York but surprisingly only The Departedwon him the Academy Award
for Best Director. Taking place in Boston, the movie stars Leonardo DiCaprioas Billy Costigan, the
rat placed in the mob; Matt Damon as Staff Sergeant Colin Sullivan, the mole in the police force;
Jack Nicholson as Frank Costello, the Irish mob boss; Mark... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

The first meeting in the movie between Lau and Chan is in a small electronic store. It definitely
proves this world is very small after all as neither party knows who the other is. Lau is looking for
a new stereo system and Chan was helping watch the store while the owner is away. Both characters
ended up sitting on the couch listening to The Forgotten Time, a relaxing old Chinese classic. It
gives both the characters a sense of relief, to not think of anything else but the music before
continuing down the The Never Ending Path. It is not until an operation set up by Superintendent
Wong to catch Hon Sam conducting a drug deal with mainlanders that Lau and Chan are pitted
directly against each other. Throughout the whole operation, both Superintendent Wong and Hon
Sam receive tip offs from their moles. Although Hon Sam s drug deal failed, this scene is when
both sides know there is a mole in their organization and both moles are placed in charge of finding

Helens. The Forest Service scientists and collaborators were on the edges of the volcano within 2
weeks of the eruption collecting information and making observations of the volcano and the areas
ecology learning about things science has not had the chance to learn about until this time. Listed
below are a few of the things that the eruption of Mount
St. Helens has taught taught scientists:
● This was the first time this type of volcano eruption was actually witnessed and documented in
history. In 1956, there was a similar landslide and blast at
Bezymianny volcano in Kamchatka, Russia however, there were no witnesses to document the
actual blast. It wasn t until Mt. St. Helens that it was recognized that the two blasts were the same
style of eruption.
● These sector collapse (the name of this type of eruption) have now been identified at over 200
volcanoes around the world. The detailed studies of the sector collapse, the lateral blast, and the
large mudflow of this eruption have led to the reassessment of volcano hazards at other sites around
the world. This has given these communities a way to become better prepared for future eruptions.
● Studies of Mount St. Helens has also demonstrated that volcanic eruptions can be accurately
predicted.

Evaluation Of A Patient With Mental Status
Last week I was at the hospital, doing my usual clinical rotations. I was assigned a patient who
was admitted to the hospital for altered mental status. I was a bit scared to work with this patient
because I was never exposed to people who are not mentally stable. When I came to see my
patient for the first time, I saw that he was accompanied by a woman who told me she was the aid
who was working with him. I was surprised to see that the patient was curled up in the bed and not
moving. She explained to me that the patient was legally blind and also had dementia. She also said
that he was somewhat combative to the doctors and nurses because of his unfamiliar surroundings
and therefore he felt like everyone there was trying to hurt him in... Show more content on

I was also chosen by my clinical instructor to administer medications that day. I waited for the
professor to come around and sure enough, all the medications which were to be taken by mouth,
had to be crushed and administered that way. He was receiving anticonvulsants and also antiseizure
medications. We crushed all the medications and mixed them into some of his pudding. When I
came to give him the spoon of pudding, he was asleep. I gently awoke him and told him that I had
his pudding. I tried putting the spoon in his mouth and he pushed my hand away. Then, the aid got
up and tried holding his hands and telling him that it was good for him and he would get ice cream
after this. I finally got half the spoon in his mouth and just when I thought he took the pudding, he
spit out the entire thing onto his shirt and arm and started wiping the pudding off his mouth with his
sheet. My clinical instructor told me to stop trying and that he would get the nurse to try and finish
giving him what was left.
I was having a lot of thoughts and emotions while this episode was unfolding. There was of course
the fear of the patient that everyone in the hospital was trying to hurt him, and there was also my
fear that if he would not get his anti seizure medications, he would seize in the next few hours and
that would be my fault. I also did not like the response of my clinical instructor to the whole
situation. Instead
Mother-Daughter Connection
When children are born, they become attached to their mother since she has been their source of life
from the second they become an organism. She is the primary caretaker who also sustains this child
s life as she continues to grow. When analyzing what a genuine mother daughter connection is, it s
important that the mother establishes a sense of security, support, and trust during this growing up
period. Psychology Today suggests in infancy and childhood, a daughter catches the first glimpse of
herself in her mother. If her mother is loving and caring, the baby is securely attached; she learns
that she is loved and lovable. When the child feels they are worthy of affection and attention, of
being seen and heard this becomes the foundation... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Jack London Fire
3.The short story To Build a Fire by Jack London starts off with a man who travels to the Yukon, a
major river in Alaska and western Canada, on an extremely cold winter day with a wolf dog. The
man was a newcomer in the Yukon and this winter was going to be his first. The man is planning
to meet a group of his friends at a camp by six o clock. He plans on traveling alone with his wolf dog
because he states that he is not fazed by the cold. An older timer on Sulphur Creek warns the man to
not go into the wilder of Yukonon his own, but he refuses to listen and lets his ego get the best of
him. So the man sets forth his journey with his dog and no other companion. As the days goes on
and the weather grows colder, the ma realizes that his unprotected... Show more content on

However, as soon as he thinks that he is safe and thinks that the old timer did not know what he
was talking about, the fire is tarnished by the snow that fell from the spruce tree. Because the
man did not consider looking around and observing his surroundings, he builds the fire under a
spruce tree, which he immediately regrets after he finds out. This mistake might have caused the
man his life. Now that the fire had went out due to the snow, the man s hands and feet were
uncovered and he knew that if he does not start another fire he will lose them. Trying to start
another fire as soon as possible the man realizes that he cannot feel his hands. In frustration and
fear the man thinks that he should kill the dog and put his hands in his body to warm them up in
order to start the fire. He does not go through with it and tries to run as far as he can get, but falls
numerous times before realizing he is going to die. The man realizes that the old timer was right
and only hoped that his friends might find his body in the morning. He then fall off into, what
seems to him, a comfortable and satisfying sleep. As soon as the dog smells the man s scent, he runs
