Test Sample Vs. The Benchmark With 98 % Confidence
Therefore, there is a significant difference between the average scores of the test sample compared to
the benchmark with 98% confidence. In this case, the claim can be made that the test sample is
statistically superior to the average benchmark by at least (3.25 2)/3.25 = 38.5 % and at most (3.25 2)/2 =
62.5% with 98% confidence.
SOLUTIONS, FIXES, EMBELLISHMENTS, AND IMPROVEMENTS
The main issues found in heuristics #7 and #8 are partially due to the lack of awareness found in the
RVCS. Specifically, the problems occur when one member of the group, denoted here as User A , needs
to make necessary changes to a particular artifact or document, only to find that another group member,
denoted here as User B , has checked the artifact or ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Moreover, upon checking the artifact back into the repository, User B can use the same comments made at
checkout, or discard the checkout comments and make more accurate comments at check in time.
Finally, the Mack Truck Theory and putting all the eggs in one basket are words of warning and wisdom
to be must be heeded. More than one manager should be given the RVCS administrative passwords so
that in the event of an emergency, the checked out state of an artifact or document can easily be reversed
and undone. Then the group member who originally owned the lock can be notified of the emergency
reversal of his or her checkout. With this software embellishment, suggestion and best practice, the issue
no longer impedes further progress from being made. The worst case scenario is that task completion
may be delayed, but less significantly. As group members now know what changes are being made and
how long it will take to make them, more informed decisions can be made in a shorter time. Finally,
these proposed changes and best practices regarding the RVCS automatically address the issue found the
sixth heuristic. Although the project manager may find the task of accurately evaluating and accessing
one s productivity and proficiency using the RVCS a bit cumbersome, an administrative feature can be
added to the RVCS to address the issue. A report or database view of check ins sorted by user is an option
that can be made available to the manager as to
Basketball Is A Way Of Life For Several Individuals It
Basketball is a way of life for several individuals; it actually would be a crime to assume that this sport
only matters to a few sets of people. Keeping this in mind, the saying, Ball is Life must immediately
come to mind since it describes the seriousness of the sport to those active within its realm. It is the
highly competitive nature that draws individuals to the sport. Competitiveness and the desire to acquire
professional level skill is what brings the young students to Bracy s Basketball Skill Clinic in Vallejo,
CA. Under the tutelage of Brandon Bracy, varying aged young boys are taught basketball skills, from the
basics all the way to fine tuning for college level play. What I witnessed within this learning environment

Each group is directed by a coach. The drills can vary from different variations of dribbling to shooting
situation, and even team maneuvers. During these drills, each player lines up into a single file line,
usually facing towards the hoop on their respective side of the court. The leading coach will then
provide the information necessary for the prospective drill to be performed. This usually consists of a
description of the activity, followed by a demonstration by the coach. Upon completion of the
demonstration, each player attempts the drill, in which afterwards they go to the back of the line. This
is performed by each player for a total of 5 repetitions before the next drill is provided. While the
players are attempting the drill, the directing coach observes the player s form and provides immediate
feedback. If there is any confusion from the feedback, the coach will stop the drill at that moment and
provided a segmented demonstration for the struggling player to better understand. In this learning
environment it, immediately became apparent as to what learning principles are being applied. The
primary principle observed within this environment is Feedback . This learning principle allows
individuals to identify discrepancies between what they did and what is needed to be done, in which they

Hello. It s been seventy years since we met, and here we are: still alive. I was ten years old, an
emaciated little girl with ragged hair. You were a soldier, and you saved me. Had I remained in the
concentration camp any longer, I would have died. Although I was there just a few months (having been
discovered a short time before the war ended), my entire familymy mother, father, and sister managed to
perish in the flames of the crematorium. But when you stood inside the barbed wire with me, carrying
the flag that bears freedom, I knew I could not burn with them. I only survived because you liberated
me. Even though I came to America shortly after, I did not think I would be able to find you... but
seventy years later, I have. Now that I have found you, I just want to know a few things. How did you
feel when you discovered my camp? You may not have known about them previously (since these camps
were secrets to the world), so it may have shocked you. What did you think of gas chambers, the
crematoria, and the mass pits full of deceased Jews? I still remember them; their memory bothers me no
longer, though. I have not healed... one does not heal after seeing those things. I... Show more content on

You and your fellow soldiers pitied us Jews, and we were rarely fed, so you must have known that too
much food would have made me ill. It was just chocolate. Finally, are you still haunted by the visions of
the concentration camps? The bodies dumped into mass graves, the barracks full of poor sick and dying
souls, the ashes of the ones already lost... do these things still haunt you? These scars do not heal. I have

The Worst Things Going On Today Americ The Education Gap...
Cynthia Chambless, a lecturer professor at Bergen Community College, is discussing one of the worst
things going on in Modern America: The Education Gap. As much as we like to believe that our current
education system is the same everywhere and any student can succeed anywhere, unfortunately, the
quality of educationdiffers from each district. Cynthia has found that many students have learned more
and better than other students based on how high their social classis. In fact, students from poorer
neighborhoods can t even write properly. This has led to students from poorer neighborhoods not being
as prepared for collegeas students from more upper class neighborhoods. The further we ignore this
issue, the more people are set back from getting their degree and accomplishing their goals. Students
need the latest resources to be successful in college and in life. Thus, The Education Gap between the
rich and the poor can be solved with more funding to community schools in poor neighborhoods by the
government because low funding is the primal reason for students being so far behind compared to their
higher social class peers. Eduardo Porter said, despite the efforts deployed by the American public
education system, nine years later the achievement gap, on average, will have widened by somewhere
from one half to two thirds. (Eduardo 2015). If we don t stop this issue, the system will only get worse.
Meaning, more students will be behind and not getting the right education
The Three Alones Of Reformation Theology
Question 1. What are the three alones of Reformation theology? How do they relate to one another in
Luther s theology? How does Luther s use of them respond to the dominant question of the sixteenth
century: How can I know that God is favorable to me?
The three alones in Reformation theology refer to that which is needed for justification or salvation
favorableness in the sight of God. Luther describes them as 1) Christ, or the Gospel of Christ (Scripture),
alone, 2) faith alone, and 3) grace alone. Each of these three are essentially united in Luther s theology.
Christ is the most important factor in the three, because without Christ and without His Word, as
recorded in Scripture, one cannot begin to have faith or hope to receive the necessary grace that comes
with faith and guarantees salvation. As Luther states, One thing, and one alone, is necessary for life,
justification, and Christian liberty; and that is the most holy word of God, the Gospel of Christ (Luther,
p. 9). Through Christ and the preaching of His Word comes belief. If one believes, that is has faith,
which implies trust and commitment, then one is justified and has found favor in God s eyes: For faith
alone, and the efficacious use of the word of God, bring salvation (Luther, p. 9)
Luther downplays the importance of works in the justification of man and instead emphasizes the place
of faith and the grace that goes with it: For the word of God cannot be received and honoured by any
works,
How Hereditary And Environment Has Affected The People...
This environment has composition of several aspects and these aspects are cordially interdependent with
environment and heredity, as well as this is coming from the evolution eras and the concept of heredity is
the basic model of this effective and eminent source of heredity in chronological order. . Although
hereditary environmenthas always been a deciding factor in determining our future, yet majority of us
hardly even bothered to look over these factors.
In this assignment I am trying to develop my understanding about how hereditary environment has
affected the people around me and referring to some journals in order to highlight the theoretical part as
well. I have tried to draw a conclusion based on my personal and professional experience.
Defining Hereditary
Introduction and meaning
Heredity is one of the powerful factors that contribute to the formation of human personality. It influences
man s social behavior too too. It is through the process of heredity that children normally get some of
the physical and psychological characteristics of their parents. Heredity refers to the biological process
of transmission of certain biological and psychological characteristics from parents to their children
through what are known as genes. Human society is not only dynamic but also diverse. Differences are
found between societies and between societies and within the same society among the peoples and
groups. In fact, society is based on the principle of difference.
Symbolism In The Setting Sun
As one of Japan s most celebrated authors of the Post War Era, Osamu Dazai s work, as well as his own
life, has been examined and analyzed by countless students and researchers from multiple perspectives.
Many such readers find themselves fascinated by the symbolism Dazai employed in his novels to express
his views on cultural, socioeconomic, and even feministic issues that plagued his conscious mind.
Kazuko, the main character and narrator of The Setting Sun(1947, translated in 1956 by Donald Keene),
can certainly be praised as a strong female character who overcomes economic collapse. However, Dazai
places incredible focus on the psychological aspects of the fallen Japanese aristocracy through Kazuko,
who has low self esteemand a critical superego paired with a fear of intimacy at the beginning of the
novel, but who eventually finds the will to struggle against her own mind. The Setting Sun opens with
Kazuko eating breakfast with her mother in their country home in Japan, and the two have a
conversation centered around Naoji, Kazuko s younger brother, who had never come back from
fighting in World War II and with whom they had lost all contact (9). Kazuko, in an attempt to comfort
her mother, quips that only good people die early, and because he is such a scoundrel, Naoji is not
dead. The focus is placed on Kazuko by her mother, however, who jokes that she will therefore die an
early death, but Kazuko responds seriously with, Why should I? I m bad and ugly both (10). She is
explicitly unsatisfied with her personal behavior and appearance, indicating a severely low self esteem.
This core psychological issue appears again when, after accidentally burning down their shed, Kazuko
feels immense and crushing guilt, despite the fire being an honest mistake. She cries from shameand
embarrassment, unable to look the villagers who had helped her put the fire out in the eyes (31). She
fears their judgement, but she is the one who judges the harshest. Delving further into her psyche,
Kazuko s self esteem issues appear to stem from her superego, which also causes her guilt as she feels
her sexual desires are wrong and shameful. Dazai gradually reveals that Kazuko had once been married,
but had divorced
The Mende Man Pieces Together The Story Of Jesus Christ
Faith plays an important role in the Mende s road to freedom. When the word faith comes to mind, it
is one that concerns a belief in some power and requires perseverance in that belief. The Mende people
certainly showed faith in more ways than one, but an example that is true to the definition mentioned
before is one where Cinque and one of his fellow Mende look over the Bible. After examining the
pictures, the Mende man pieces together the story of Jesus Christ despite knowing very little English. He
shows the story to Cinque, and both men see how Jesus had unrightfully died, yet in death he had arrived
in a place more beautiful than the world on which he lived. As a response, Cinque and his friend mustered
up the faith to propel them... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
With faith and hope, they entrusted all communications to Cinque and had faith that he would speak for
the best of all the Mende. This faith in Cinque as well as a faith in a better life after the trials brought
unity amongst the Mende people. From then on, they become more than just a tribe. Through faith, they
had grown close enough to consider one another family.
Consequently, family is another prevalent theme in La Amistad. Since the opening scene, the Mende
people considered themselves as one tribe, one people, and one family. This was shown when Cinque
bloodily unlocks his hand and ankle bindings in the bottom of the Amistad, but he does not stop there.
With bloody hands and fatigue overcoming him, he draws out extra strength to free his family around
him. In doing so, the Mende stay as one unit and work together to complete a successful insurrection
against the ship s crew, so that they can reunite with their beloved family members back in Africa.
However, rather than standing still and keeping quiet, they bring their home in Africa to America. They
bring the traditions that run in the Mende family and stay faithful in performing those traditions. For
example, when one Mende died in the prison, they attempted to hold a customary ritual to show due
respect and allow eternal peace for the soul of their recently passed family member. Although the whites
opposed them from doing so, the Mende people were fervent about their African duties and respects

The Roles Of Women Of Andalusia
The Roles of Extraordinary Women of Andalusia Muslim women have the same rights as men and they
have to fulfill and attain the same duties of worship such as prayer, zikr, give money to the poor,
fasting, and make pilgrimage to Mecca the holy place. In the pre Islamic era, the Jahiliya era, women
were not allowed to do anything, they had no rights. Women from the Bedioun tribes had no legal status
whatsoever. The fathers forced their daughters to get married for money and also, many fathers
infanticide their daughters because they were seeing as nothing important in the society. The tribes were
all male controlled. The heritage was passed on to the following generations through male lines. Women
had no legal right in inheriting property. The head of the tribes limited the rights of women and took
away their freedom. Prior to Islam, women were seen as property to be seized in tribal or ethnic battles
and conflicts. Women had no possessions or succession rights. Their very essential role was to produce
children, especially male offspring. Women had to cook, milk animals, and wash clothes; they also had
to spun wool and wave fabric for the tribal tens. However, when Islam was found, it gave full rights and
freedom to women.
Islam developed the position of women from the Arab cultures. The Sharia Law drew attention to the
proper way of marriage for women. Islam forbids the dowry of a female to be given to her family rather
than to the female who is getting married. Islam
Creating Age Graded Theory And Anomie Theory
Combining age graded theory and anomie theory would help explain criminality by using more
variables that have been proven reliable. Merton s theory created in the 1930s is incomplete (Messner,
Rosenfeld, 2006) and life course may help complete this theory. Anomie factors affect a person in
adolescents differently than a person in adulthood, this is why adapting life course with anomie can be
helpful. Merton states his view of biological variables, It provides no basis for determining the non
biological conditions which induce deviations from predicted pattern of conduct. (Merton, 1938, p.672).
Individual variables like biological factors are important, but they are aspects of criminality.
Sampson and Laub s age graded theory focuses on informal social control to understand crime through the
life course. The main ideas they focused on were transitions (life events such as marriage or
incarceration), trajectories (pathways of one s life) and turning points (Sampson, Laub, 1993). This
theory was able to show why and how involvement in crime peaks during certain periods in one s life,
and why many desist at certain times in their life. These ideas can be meshed together with institutional
anomie factors like types of adaptations and escape mechanisms that people use.
Probability of criminal involvement is higher when individuals have low levels of bonds with society or
no bonds at all (Sampson, Laub, 1993). These social bonds are what connects a person to
Negative Effects Of Hip Hop
Music is a large part of life, it is important to America s culture and identity. Music can produce a
negative effect on behavior and susceptible audiences, leading to aggressive behavior in many of
America s youth. There have been many debates over hip hop and its influence on the youth
community in America. Some people believe that it has a negative impact while others feel that it does
not account for any change in youth society. How does music and human behavior correspond? What
are the negative and positive effects that hip hop has towards America s youth community?. Hip Hop is
among the top 5 most played genres. The oral creativity the performer uses to generate a certain simile,
metaphor, language and rhyme. Hip hop and poetry share the same methods that expedite into the youth
culture to grow companionship throughout the audience. Many devotees have agreed critical thinking
about the society is encouraged by hip hop. Hip hop is being used as an instructional tool by many
instructors to employ it for teaching grammar, mathematics, and the periodic table. The developing hip
hop started in Bronx New York. The evolution of hip hop continues to expand to our present day. It has
become a movement and culture that began 30 to 40 years ago. Kool Herc (DJ) is known as being a
founder of hip hop in 1967 when he made his first gig at his sister s birthday party. Alterations within the
culture have taken the originality to a whole new level with technology taking its jump and
commercialism overrunning the music industry. (Palvic, 2006) The four elements condition (social,
economic, cultural and political) reflects the youth community allowing them to listen in a way they can
relate or portray society. The Black Arts Movements, Black Power, Civil Rights, New Negro
Renaissance, Blues and Jazz are all phenomena that can draw all similar artistic movements such as hip
hop. Rapping, graffiti art, breakdancing, and disc jockeying are considered to be among the four
elements that wrap around hip hop. Ever since hip hop appeared in the Bronx, hip hop has incorporated
a style of language, dress and dialect and a way of looking at the world. (Alridge and James, 2005)The
relationship between human behavior and music is

Additionally, without interview data, most psychological assessments are virtually meaningless. 2.
Psychological Tests/Assessments: These measures typically identify a wide range of explicit information
about the client, such as attitudes, opinions, beliefs, and knowledge/facts. They also help evaluate the
client s level of functioning in comparison to the norm group. This is particularly important in informing
the diagnosis and treatment of the client. 3. Informant Reports: This involves interviewing people who
know the client, such as family members, friends, and teachers. These reports can be helpful because they
can provide different perspectives of the client. They may also inform the clinician if the client s
behaviors generalize across settings. 4. Records: By obtaining client records, whether previous mental
health records, medical records, legal records, or school records, the clinician may find important
information that the client did not report. Overall, incorporating several different sources of information
allows for a more comprehensive understanding of the client, which leads to more accurate and effective
diagnosis and treatment. An empirically grounded approach uses the method of contrasted groups in order
to create a measure that differentiates between groups. This typically involves administering several items
to two different groups, such as patients with depression and
