The Importance Of Checking Tire Pressure
Summer is here and that means lots of families are hitting the road! Whether you re going on a
weekend trip to see family or taking a cross country road trip, having a reliable and well
maintained vehicle will make your trip safer and more fun. When you purchase a used vehicle from
ABC MotorCredit, you can rest assured that your vehicle is dependable and that you ll be supported
if you run into any trouble. Before you hit the road this summer, take care of these simple tasks to
keep your vehicle running smoothly.

Check your tire pressure

Maintaining proper tire pressure is vital to the functioning of your car. Correctly inflated tires are
safer and help you get the best gas mileage possible. Figure out the correct amount of air to put in
your tires by looking on the side of the tire or in your vehicle handbook. Next, use a tire gauge to
check the actual pressure. Make ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Having emergency supplies can make the experience much easier. A basic emergency kit for a
vehicle should contain a jack for changing a tire, jumper cables, basic tools in a variety of sizes
(screwdrivers, wrench, pliers, etc), roadside flares, a tire gauge, and a flashlight with extra batteries.
Other supplies that may be useful include two quarts of oil, a gallon of antifreeze, extra fuses, a tire
inflator, duct tape, a funnel for adding fluids, and rags or paper towels. These types of supplies
can hopefully enable you to get your car moving until you reach the nearest town or service
station. Don t forget to also pack supplies for your passengers! Bottled water, granola or energy
bars, a first aid kit, blankets, and supplies for children, the elderly, or ill family members may be
the difference between life and death in the event of an accident. Lastly, make sure you include a list
of emergency contact numbers such as roadside assistance and your insurance agent as well as any

Outcasts United And The United States
Today we watch the world rage in war, bathe in chaos, and live in destruction. Where there is war
families are being torn apart. Children watch family members be killed in front of them and
many homes are destroyed. They are forced to leave their country and seek refuge in a
neighboring one. In the book Outcasts United, the main conflict is how refugees are readjusting
to life and how they are treated. Many characters have waited years to get into the u.s.This has
made me realize that the way we deal with refugees is a big problem today. The camps they are
put in are unsanitary. It takes years for background checks. And even after they get an okay to
come here, they still struggle. Money can only go so far. I believe it is time to help them.
Refugees are people and need to have another chance at life. In the book Outcast United, many of
the main characters in the book have fled from their homes. Because of the wars that came to their
homes they had no choice but to leave. Their families walked miles to the nearest refugeecamp. The
trip was not easy and dangerous. An article (syria chigago) stated So began their four year flight to
flee Syria s brutal civil war and find safety in Chicago. The family fled to Damascus, the Syrian
capital, about 100 miles south. But within five months, the violence caught up to them. Fatima Adris
eldest brother was shot in the street, and her father was also shot. (chicago tribune,1 2) This

Jannah Bailey, Executive Director at Child Protect, spoke today about how her organization serves
the community. While Bailey does not view herself as a servant, she is a prime example of what a
servant leader should look like. Child Protect is a children s advocacy center that helps children in
Montgomery, Autauga, and Elmore counties. The non profit organization is considered a neutral
party that can speak with victims of child abuse. They are trained to interview and counsel children
and work with DHR and law enforcement. Bailey was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama.
She grew up in a dysfunctional family; however, her mothermade sure that both her and her brother

Research Study on Gender Bias in Education
Gender Biases in Education: Math
Nicole S. Tester
Bryant University

Abstract This research project conducted was to find out whether women were more affected by
gender based expectations than men. This was done by giving both young men and young women a
simple standardized math test which most likely they had all been taught and exposed to in the past.
This particular test was designed to be at or below the performance level of most college students.
There was two versions of the test instructions, with one version providing information about men
typically outperforming women on the test, and the other version stating the opposite. These
instructions were used as a form of deception to prove my hypothesis. My ... Show more content on

There are clubs devoted to women s sexuality, success, and even fashion senses. There are awards
given to women who have gotten superior grades, been offered great jobs, or are simply a success.
Knowing this, what I want to learn is whether these women who are so highly praised and allowed
the same success as men are still subjects to gender based expectations, more specifically in
learning and education. In my study I will be deceiving the participants into thinking that only
women will be successful in this study or to another group I will be saying only men will be
successful. The way this will be done is by using simple high school level math tests. Before the
test I will be falsely informing half of my participants (equal number of females and males) that
only men will pass this test, and then I will repeat this with the other half of my participants but
falsely informing them of the opposite. The fact that I will play on women s vulnerability will
allow me to learn whether these very empowered and successful women will still be so after being
told they will fail before even trying. My hypothesis is that these women will be affected by such a
statistic and depending on the false statistic they get, they will fulfill it. Methods

Forty eight undergraduate volunteers (24 males and 24 females) from Bryant University took part
in this study. The average age of participants was recorded at 20.22 years (SD=1.13). No cultural
Case Study Of M-Pesa
Question 1 Critically discuss how M Pesa managed to transform economic interaction in Kenya
and what can Bitcoin learn from this? Does Bitcoin have the potential to be a superior option in
the future? In 2007, Kenya became the launch pad for M Pesa, a transformative mobile phone
based platform for money transfer and financial services. Since then, M Pesa has experienced a
meteoric rise. In 2014, 43% of Kenya s GDP flowed through M Pesa, with over 237 million person
to person transactions. M Pesa is almost ubiquitous in Kenyans daily lives because of the services it
provides, including the facility to deposit and withdraw money, the ability to pay bills and the
options it provides for remittance. Nearly 10 years after its initial launch,... Show more content on

Botswana s Economy Depends on Diamond Mining
1.INTRODUCTION
It is a well known fact that Botswana s economy is based on mineral resources especially diamonds.
As such since the 2008 economic meltdown, the diamond market has not thrived as well as it used
to, prompting the Government of Botswana to come up with ways of diversifying the economy and
reducing reliance on the mining sector. The main challenge for the country now is how to diversify
its economy and reduce heavy reliance on diamond revenue. Therefore in 2010 the Economic
Diversification Drive was borne in an effort to come up with ways of diversifying the country s
economy. According to the Economic Diversification Drive Strategy of Botswana, Economic
diversification means diversifying a country s sources of economic ... Show more content on

The country should also promote the development of industries. These are able to employ a lot of
people. In addition, the government should make it easy for industries and the private sector to
obtain funding.
2.2DEVELOP THE AGRICULTURE SECTOR
Botswana imports most of its food from other countries. In order to diversify the country should
cut down its import bill on food and start producing its own and maybe be able to export to other
countries as well. Also Agriculture is a labour intensive and it creates a lot of jobs. Job creating
sectors are important for the development of the country as well as the development of the economy.
Most farmers in Botswana cannot access funding and therefore they do not have working capital
even if they do have the machinery and other inputs for farming. The country should have food
security and be self sustaining.
2.3GOVERNANCE
United Nations OSAA (2011) asserts that good governance is a pre requisite in building an enabling
environment for economic diversification. The Government has to set up and establish favourable
regulatory frameworks that encourage economic activity and to ensure a healthy business climate in
the country. In the case of Botswana, the country has a lot of policies that should be supporting the
diversification strategy of the country. Unfortunately most of these policies are run parallel even
though they are supposed to be complementing each other. Also the turnaround
Marcus Scagliety s Life
This is the story of Marcus Scagliety, a fairly recognized American novelist. Marcus was born and
raised in New York, but once he became of age, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of
becoming a writer. By the time he was 25, Marcus had published his first bestseller, love is life, a
romantic novel. This early success, along with Marcus good looks and erotic mojo led him to
become the absolute definition of a man living in the Aesthetic stage. Marcus used the earnings
from his first novel to purchase a beach house in Malibu, and a Porsche so that he could prove to
the world, what a cool and accomplished father he was. The first year after his novel was published
was filled with dozens of sex partners, copious use of drugs, and bountiful... Show more content on

The doctor decided that the most prudent thing to do was to carry out blood analysis, to confirm
what the problem truly was. Marcus had never gotten a blood analysis before, therefore he did
not know what to expect. It took 48 hours to receive the results, and once the doctor received
them, he immediately called Marcus into his office, to tell him the news. Marcus arrived into the
doctor s office as soon as possible, and once he was there he could not wait to hear the news,
hoping it would be something minor; Unfortunately, it was far from it. The doctor informed
Marcus, he appeared to have contracted AIDS. This news destroyed Marcus morale; he felt, as if
all he had done had come to a tragic end. The doctor advised Marcus to inform the women he had
had sexual relations about the possibility of them contracting it, which would not be an easy task,
considering the vast quantity of women it had been over the years. For Marcus, this was an eye
opening moment. First of all, He decided to do the right thing, and make it public that he had been
diagnosed with AIDS. Secondly, he decided to become completely celibate, to stop the spread of
the disease. Thirdly, he created a fund, to raise awareness of the disease and raise money to fight it.
Lastly, he wanted to mend things with his one true love,
College Dropout DBQ
Many wealthy people didn t graduate from college. For example, the creator of Facebook Mark
Zuckerburg, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, Media mogul Oprah Winfrey, and Twenty one time
Grammy winner Kanye West. All these individuals make a life of college dropout. They make their
life sound enticing, we must remember that they are exceptions rather than the norm. A college
degree is a common goal for families and a baseline requirement for jobs In the United States. A
recent Pew Research study found that 94 percent of parents expected their children to go to college.
The college attendance has not always been the case. During the 1940s, college was mostly a
privilege of the wealthy. The most college students were white males; women and people of color
were often barred from entry. The change began during WW2 ended, however, that began to change.
The first major change involved the G.1 Bill in 1944. Students and their families make tough
decisions when they think about attending college.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Such as in document C gives examples like Electrician, Solar panel installers, and NBA basketball
player. It only takes a high school diploma or no experience at all to carry those carriers. Another
thing is the extravagant prices. In document E, it says college has never been more expensive.
The past three decades, the average tuition at a public four year college has gone up by more than
250 percent. It also states that college graduates owing more than $26,000 there are some who owe
a lot more. It becomes harder to start a family and buy a home. It becomes harder when you want to
go on your own path. Higher education has always been important, but paying the price and living
with the risk of the thought behind your head about the debt you won t be able to pay
Causes Of The Neolithic Revolution
Initiation of the Neolithic Revolution
When considering the most plausible theory for the catalyst that began the Neolithic Revolution, one
must look directly at the changing climate of the region. Approximately 18,000 BC, the earth was
experiencing a climactic transition, brought about by the end of the Last Glacial Maximum. During
this transition the earth began to experience warming temperatures, which dramatically changed the
landscape, and the very existence of the hunter gatherer populations. The oscillating temperatures
that occurred during the next few thousand years help guide the trajectory of development in
agriculture and human societies.
While considering the weather, Barry Cunliffe, author of Europe Between the Oceans states, By
about 12,000 BC dense forest covered much of the western part of the hilly flanks region, giving
way, around its borders, to more open areas where extensive stands of wild wheats and ryes could
flourish (91). This period of warmer weather is referred to as the Holocene. The thawing ice sheets
also caused water to rise, and subsequently change not only the structure of the land, but the plant life
as well. As the hunter gatherers adjusted to these changes in their environment, another climactic
event ensued called the Younger Dryas. The Younger Dryas was a dramatic, and brief return to the
cooler, dryer climate experienced as the Last Glacial Maximum was ending. The general thinking is
that this phenomenon occurred due to very cold
How Is Violence Presented In A Clockwork Orange
Real Horror show Violence What s it going to be then, eh? (Burgess 3). The question asked by Alex,
the protagonist, that inevitably leads to violence and shenanigans with his three droogs in A
Clockwork Orange. He and his friends are the epitome of reckless teenagers; they steal, break into
homes, and rob innocent civilians on the street. Throughout the book, the reader will come across
many unrecognizable slang words spoken mainly by adolescents that only one familiar with Nadsat
would understand. Anthony Burgesscreates a new language, Nadsat , to muffle violence and enhance
the futuristic setting in A Clockwork Orange. Taking place in a totalitarian society where youth
violence is at an all time high and adults are oblivious... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
His intention was for Alex to fit this definition. Throughout the book, there are many horrific
events that make the reader wonder how someone could be so cruel. When Alex attempts to
demonstrate authority over his droogs and show them what ultra violence really is by
relentlessly beating an old woman, causing her death. His plan to trick the old woman into letting
him use her phone backfires when she refuses, so he finds a way into her house through an open
window and proceeds with his demonstration. Shortly after, sirens are heard and Alex goes to find
his droogs where he is met with a punch to the face and then a substance sprayed into his eyes,
leaving him helpless. Alex is forced to submit to the police s orders and is charged with murder.
This is a turning point in A Clockwork Orange because Alex finally gets a taste of his own
medicine. He has to deal with daily abuse from the police for two years and it is apparent that
Alex is still unable to change his evil ways until he volunteers to take part in the government s new
behavior experiment to speed up his sentence. Alex s ethical transformation is seen in the twenty
first chapter where he finally grows up and realizes that there s more to life than violence (Davis
and Womack). The violence in this novel is not just distasteful, but also has a comedic effect.
Throughout A Clockwork Orange, Burgess invokes the conventions of slapstick in order to challenge

I ve heard of Lyme disease, but I didn t know it could be chronic? And what are the other two?
