Node/Python + Azure - Thaloz

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our team. As a Backend Developer, you will be
responsible for building microservices and REST APIs using Node.js, Python, or JVMbased
languages (Scala, Kotlin, Java). Experience with Azure services such as Function Apps, API
management, App Services, VMs, Event Grid, and Azure DevOps is required. Familiarity with
MongoDB or other document stores and solid understanding of SQL are also important for this role.

integration patterns and monitoring services in production, we would love to hear from you.

Job Responsibilities

● Building microservices and REST APIs using Node.js, Python, or JVMbased languages.
● Utilizing Azure services such as Function Apps, API management, App Services, VMs, Event
Grid, Azure DevOps.
● Working with MongoDB or other document stores and having a solid understanding of SQL.
● Familiarity with Github/Gitlab flows; JIRA; Swagger; various system integration patterns.
● Building applications from the ground up.
● Experience with monitoring services in production.

Basic Qualifications

● 3 to 5 years of handson experience building microservices and REST APIs using, in order of
preference: Node.js, Python, JVMbased languages (Scala, Kotlin, Java).
● 2 to 3 years of Handson experience with Azure services such as function Apps, API
management, App Services, VMs, Event Grid, Azure DevOps).
● 2 to 3 years of handson experience with MongoDB, either through Azure API or Atlas, as
well as experience with Azure CosmosDB or other document stores. A solid understanding
of SQL is required.
● Experience with Docker.
● Proficiency in using Github/Gitlab flows for version control and collaboration.
● Experience working with JIRA for project management, Swagger for API documentation, and
familiarity with various system integration patterns.
