The Pros And Cons Of Cyber Crime
Cyber crime is criminal activity done using computers and the Internet. This ranges from
downloading illegal music files to offenses, such as creating and distributing viruses on other
computers or posting private business information on the Internet.
Perhaps the most outstanding form of cyber crime is identity theft, in which wrongdoers use the web
to steal personal information from other users. One of the most frequent ways this is done is through
phishing. This method entices people to fake websites (that appear to be legitimate), where they are
asked to enter information about themselves. This includes inputting information, such as usernames
and passwords, mobile numbers, addresses, credit card numbers, and other information criminals can
use to gain another person s identity. Many people in developing countries are getting attracted
towards because of high unemployment and low wages . (Kshetri, 2010)
Another way this is done is through the use of viruses, There is a number of ways that you can get a
virus on your computer while on the other side someone is able to access all the data in your
machine. One of the most common way on how this is done is when an attachment is sent to you on
email or any other social networking site and when you open it, your machine ... Show more content

It is a wrongful act to commit. More often than not it is also not clear which laws are being
broken. Cyber crime covers a wide range of wrong doings that are done using the web and the
very same web which has made our lives easier has also complicated stuff because there are
people out there who like to take advantage of unsuspecting people. Also sadly it is sometimes
difficult to trace the person/s who is or are doing it. So it is smart to protect yourself using anti
viruses and spyware. In developing countries they are not too keen on the laws broken unless it is a
major cyber crime committed so it is always best to be
The Triangle Shirtwaist Industry During The 19th Century
During the 19th century, the population of the United States was booming and the Industrial
Revolution was in full swing. American industry was growing faster than any other nation in the
world. Settlers from European territories flooded into the country in hopes of a better life (Lambert).
The United States was doing things that had never been done before, and mistakes were made. The
Triangle Shirtwaist Factory was a horrific incident that demonstrated the need for factory regulations.
Many lessons can be learned from the factory, the fire, and the effect it had.

Over 80,000 people attended (Greenhouse). New York responded to the fire and led the nation in
adopting safety standards. Some of the changes they made included: fire drills in large companies,
sprinkler systems in big buildings, and sturdy fire escapes. Since then OSHA (Occupational Safety
and Health Administration) was created and work safety is made a priority.
[That day] is remembered as one of the most infamous incidents in American industrial history, as the
deaths were largely preventable most of the victims died as a result of neglected safety features and
locked doors within the factory building. The tragedy brought widespread attention to the dangerous
sweatshop conditions of factories, and led to the development of a series of laws and regulations
that better protected the safety of workers. (Fire of 1911)
Conclusion
In summary, the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory was a grim fire that led to the development of factory
regulations. The condition of the factory, the fire, and what was done to prevent history from
repeating itself play important roles into the story. Standards are now in place to protect the safety of
workers, ensure fair treatment, and earn a decent
Significances Of Total Solar Eclipses
A Total Solar Eclipse occurs when the visible portion of our Moon covers the visible portion of our
sun, causing it to seem like a white ring with a black center, causing an extremely unique view of
our sun and Moon. The Total Solar Eclipse can only be seen from a few points in the world, in the
umbral shadow. Most people in the world will only see a partial Solar Eclipse, where the Moonwill
only cover a portion of the sun, due to the fact that they re in the penumbral. While not as unique,
it s still a rare sight to behold. The reason Solar Eclipses are so rare to begin with is due to the
special coincidence of the Moon and sun being the same size to our eyes. While our sun is 400
times the size of our Moon, our sun is also 400 times farther away, causing them to appear the same
size in our sky.

As previously stated, you can only see a Total Solar Eclipse from an umbral shadow, which is the
darkest part of the shadow cast on the Earth. This only happens when the Moon Totally covers the
sun, but this is not the only factor. The Moon also has to be close to, or at the point of perigee,
the point of the Moon s orbit closest to Earth. The penumbral shadow is only visible when the
Moon only partly obscures the Sun s disk, causing a partial Solar Eclipse, but there are still more.
There s the Annular Solar Eclipse, which is similar to a Total Solar Eclipse, but the Moon is too
small to completely cover the sun, and the Sun s outer edges remain visible to form a ring of fire
in the sky. This can only happen when the Moon is near to, or at the point of apogee, the point of
the Moon s orbit farthest from Earth, and can only be seen from the Moon s antumbra. The last
type of eclipse, Hybrid Solar Eclipses, also known as annular Total eclipses, are the rarest type. This
only occurs when a Solar Eclipse changes between a Total Solar Eclipse and an Annular Solar
Eclipse along it s path.

According to the article What Are Solar Eclipses? on the website timeanddate.com/eclipse/solar
eclipse.html For a solar eclipse to take place, the Sun, the Moon, and Earth must be aligned in a
perfect or near perfect straight line an alignment astronomers call syzygy. This happens around New
Moon every lunar month. There are 2
Hansel And Gretel Evaluation
I decided to attend Hansel and Gretel because I have never been to an opera, and I thought it would
be a great event to experience. Hansel and Gretel had multiple musical trends that helped tell the
story including instruments, vocalist, and acting out. I was truly amazed by the talent that the
performance presented because I did not know how talented some of my classmates at Simpson
were. I would definitely recommend an operaperformance to anyone who is considering it because it
opened my eyes on how amazing musical talents can truly be. Hansel and Gretel began a tradition of
implementing children s musicinto orchestras and earned the American première at the Metropolitan
Opera in 1905. Hansel and Gretel was the first of nine operas written... Show more content on

The drums, marimba, and the snare drum seemed to always add a great or dramatic effect the the
scenes. During the suspenseful parts of the performance, the percussion instruments added thrilling
feelings towards its audience by changing pitches and frequencies at rapid or slow rates. I have
always had interest in the percussion parts of bands and continued to be intrigued by it during the
performance of Hansel and Gretel. I personally think that many people misinterpret what an opera
actually is because I know that me and the people that attended the opera with me enjoyed the
performance more than we thought we would. It was not what we expected it to be, and we were
greatly surprised by the performance and found it much more interesting than we thought we would.
After attending Hansel and Gretel, I could see myself attending more opera opportunities that are
presented to me. By attending this opera, I think that I can now have a better understanding of what
we are learning in class because I have more experience with musical performances. I came into this
class with very minimal knowledge on music, but I can now say that can know have a better feeling
for types on instruments, tempo, pitch, volume, and frequency. I think that attending an orchestra
should be a highly recommended event for music class students because it has many aspects of
music placed into
The Technology Of The Home Appliance Market
The ThermoWave is the newest advancement in the home appliance market, a device with the
capabilities to both heat food and beverages as well as cool them. Comparable in design to a
common countertop microwave, the ThermoWave has dimensions of 18 x30 x20 for our household
version. The ThermoWave comes in a stainless steel finish and is operated through a traditional
touch control numerical pad. Controls on the device allow for heating, cooling, defrosting, thawing,
as well as options for specific items such as poultry, beef, and popcorn. Our company has chosen to
market this appliance in department stores, discount retailers, and online. The ThermoWave is priced
at $159.99, which we feel is a fair market price for the devices capabilities and production costs.
Environmental forces that affect our product and company include: competitive, technological, legal
/regulatory, economic, and sociocultural. The environmental forces are important because they are
the influences behind the market and consumer buying. Lower unemployment and inflation coupled
with the current state of recovery that our country is in are all positive forces for our company,
while lower spending on appliances is a concern for us. Our competition includes companies such as
General Electric, Whirlpool, and Samsung, all titans of the appliance industry. Though currently the
ThermoWave is the only product of its kind, we are expecting companies to emulate our product in
the near future. Social media and the

McPartland was born in 1918 in England. She showed musical talent when she was young,
because of this McPartland began to take violin lessons; she also studied the piano on her own.
McPartland went to the London s Guildhall school of music to train classically. Once she
