The Impact Of Training Projects For Professionals
Introduction
The purpose of this project was to measure the impact of training projects for professionals in
Cambodia. The term professionals in this article includes administrators and staff employed by a non
governmental organization ( NGO ) who attended the training session. In past trips, training in
services for teachers were conducted by McMaster scholars in the cities of Phnom Penh, Battambang,
Tekeo, and several rural school districts. The reason for conducting in services for teachers was
that the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sport ( MoEYS ); does not have a systematic
professional development program for teachers. who are typically under trained from the beginning
of their teaching careers (Courtney, 2007). The same lack of systematic professional development
applies to the NGO sector as well (Berkvens, Kalyanpur, Kuiper, Akker, 2012, p. 242). Scholar
projects for the 2015 2015 Cambodian Learning Community included in depth and detailed training
sessions on the topics of post partum depression, drug resistant tuberculosis, water testing, the
importance of using safe water, Google Drive, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, and First Aid. Before
2014, however, this learning community only conducted an informal evaluation of the trainings.
The previous year s research project asked teachers to respond to prompts on the content and
application of the training sessions (Coulter, 2014). The same basic protocol was to be followed in
the present research project.

Mesopotamia vs. Egypt
Mesopotamia and Egypt were very different because of their geography and world view.
Mesopotamia was often flooded because of their bad geography, but the land around the Nile river
was built well so the Egyptians didn t have to worry about the river flooding as often. The land in
Mesopotamia was often attacked and invaded. Ultimately the geography of Egypt was significantly
better than Mesopotamia because of the benefits of the nile river created a positive world view, a
strong government and a universal religion.
Mesopotamia s land required more work than Egypt s because of their unscheduled flooding. The
land in Mesopotamia was fertile, but was very harsh due to the amount of excess water coming
off the two rivers. The people in Mesopotamia had a bad world view because they were constantly
working and fixing the land and it would get ruined again after the flooding because it was
constant. The Epic of Gilgamesh connects to the flooding of the river because his writings
showed how the Mesopotamians were under the mercy of the gods. It also described how the
Mesopotamians had to keep fixing their land after the unscheduled flooding. The people of
Mesopotamia also had bad world because of the overload of water that caused them to have a
surplus of food. The Nile allowed the Egyptians to work their crops instead of worrying about the
river, unlike the people in Mesopotamia. Due to the flooding of the
The Revolutionary Policies of Henry VIII Essay
The Revolutionary Policies of Henry VIII

Henry was a supreme egotist. He advanced personal desires under the guise of public policy or
moral right, forced his ministers to pay extreme penalties for his own mistakes, and summarily
executed many with little excuse. In his later years he became grossly fat, paranoid, and
unpredictable. Nonetheless he possessed considerable political insight, and he provided England
with a visible and active national leader.

Although Henry seemed to dominate his Parliaments, the importance of that institution increased
significantly during his reign. Other advances made during his reign were the institution of an
effective navy and the beginnings of social and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
He began life as a second son, destined for the church. It was the dream of Henry VII for his
eldest son, Arthur, to be king and for his second son, Henry, to be the highest churchman in
England. And so, for the first ten years of his life, Henry was a student of theology. And for the
next thirty years of his life, he remained a dutiful son of the church. It is ironic, then that his most
significant historical achievement was the destruction of the Roman Catholic faith in England.
The most prominent casualty of Henry s break with Rome was Thomas Wolsey. Wolsey became
Archbishop of York in 1514; in 1515 the Pope made him a Cardinal and Henry appointed him
Chancellor, the highest political office in England. The title of papal legate, granted in 1518, made
him the effective head of the English Church. The son of an Ipswich butcher, Wolsey was the
richest and most powerful man in England after the King. However, he could not impose Henry s
will on the Pope. In retaliation, Henry had him convicted of praemunire overriding civil law with
church law and confiscated his assets. He died in 1530 while facing an additional charge of treason.

His secretary, the Protestant reformer Thomas Cromwell, succeeded him. Cromwell reorganised the
government, the Church and the map of Wales, replacing the Principality and the Earldom of March
with Standard English counties. His
Three Types of Friends Essay
A friend is defined as someone emotionally close or somebody who trusts and is fond of another.
The affect that a person one calls his or her acquaintance can sometimes be very deep and
heartfelt. From my experience, I have encountered three types of friends: the chronic complainer,
the staller, and the know it all. A chronic complainer is a he or she that is fault finding. Chronic
complainers choose to blame someone else or something for his or her actions. Also, they are
uncertain about what should be done. I have this friend that I consider a chronic complainer; she
never takes the blame for anything and no matter what the situation is she s going to find a problem.
There have been plenty of times that we would go out to eat, and our... Show more content on

The staller would not be of any help with moving or any other hard job. The person I know that
fits this description is not a friend but actually a family member. This person comes to do the
simplest job ever, but has to call two or three more people to come help him out. Instead of him
helping he stands there and gives out orders to everyone else. He also dose not get his important
business handled; he likes to sit around and wait until the last minute or until it s too late before
he tries to do anything about a situation. This is not someone who you would want helping you
with some very important job. Last but not least is the know it all. The know it all acts superior
and makes others feel stupid. They also maybe bullheaded and impatient; know it alls really don
need or want any help. One of my closest friends is a prime example of a know it all. She knows
everything that is discussed and want let anyone else put there say so in about the topic. One day
one of my cousins and I were talking about the cost of daycare and she just cut both of us off and
went on talking about the different costs. She didn t know what she was talking about because she
dose not have any kids. So when I cut her off and went to correcting her she got so mad with me
because what I was saying made more sense than what she was saying. Know it alls are the kinds of
friends a person will have the most confrontations with. As
DNA In Forensic Investigations
The technology that would be used in the object of a hammer is DNA to investigate if a person
left evidence of hair, fingerprint, saliva, blood, skin cells. DNA can pull up the criminals and the
victims that happened to be there in the time of the burglary. Many forensic scientist would be able
to collect the samples to create a DNA Profile. In doing this they would be able to analyze the cells,
hair, blood etc within the database similar to blood and fingerprint. This would help the policeofficer
have a clear indication of the criminals DNA and also the victim.
Footprints and tire marks are one of the most commonly pieces of evidence that is found at a crime
scene. The impressions of the footprint at the crime scene can be compared to suspect s
The Atlanta Museum Of Art
On November 7, 1883, an exhibition organized by May Wright Sewell, her husband Theodore, and a
small group of art minded citizens (History, 2017) began what would one day become the
establishment now known as the Indianapolis Museum of Art. Since that first exhibition, the IMA
has gone through several identity changes. They were first named, the Art Association of
Indianapolis. Their next identity was as the John Herron Art Institute, which opened a whole new
chapter, as they became a campus featuring both a museumand an art school. (History, 2017) Today,
the IMA is one of the largest encyclopedic art museums in the nation. The IMA has had various
leadership and staff over the years that have lent to how the museum operates today.... Show more

Library and Archives

Many do not know that the IMA houses two different libraries. The Stout Reference Library and the
Horticultural Society Library provide numerous resources for their visitors, which mainly consist of
students, IMA Staff, docents, collectors, researchers and even members of the community. The
Stout Reference Library focuses on the encyclopedia collection of the Indianapolis Museum of Art,
while also providing general information about art and art history of all periods. (Stout Reference
Library, 2017) The Horticultural Society Library houses more than 2,000 volumes, including
general reference books and books on landscaping, specific plant families and horticulture.
(Horticultural Society Library, 2017) I mention the libraries because this semester, I am technically
considered a library and archives intern at the IMA. My mentor however is the archivist, Samantha
Norling. She has done impressive work at the IMA in such a short time. She jump started the
Archives online portal, which consists of thousands of digitized items from the archives. The IMA
received a generous grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) (Documenting
Modern Living, 2017), that allowed for 17,000 items from the Miller House and Garden archival
collection to be digitized.

Introduction The purpose of this project is to design a WAN (wide area network) using a Cisco
Packet Tracer simulation. The Step by step instructions included in this project are designed to
help provide an inside view of how to design any type of network using the Cisco Packet Tracer
network simulation software. In addition i will also be looking at other software s that are similar
to the Cisco Packet Tracer and analyse the strengths and weaknesses of the software. I will also be
looking into the types of network devices needed to design a WAN. Finally, I into the types of
network architecture, network topologies and security management suitable for my design network
project. Literature Reviews As the networks of computing... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Two of these individuals were James Gross and Mesut Güneş. They initially produced a package
labelled NS. This was followed by NS2 then by NS3, each version an improvement on the
package before. These were virtual applications where the designers sought to model networks in
a manner that best suited available network research, and the authors collective experiences.
These packages were capable of designing a network, and some terminology and components
used are common to all discrete event simulation systems. Unfortunately, there is no standardised
set of terms and the naming can vary in literature making the packages not entirely user friendly; (
the NS3 for example uses programing labelled C++ and the main networking commands were
known by only a few IT specialists). Packet Tracer Software and Activities The requirement for a
user friendly package was met by the Cisco Lab. The Cisco Packet Tracer is a self paced, visual,
interactive teaching and learning tool developed by Cisco Lab. The relative ease with which this
package can be used makes it ideal for students as well as for professional use. A further benefit is
that Packet Tracer provides a visual simulation of equipment and network processes to offset the
challenge of limited equipment, (often a problem in schools and universities). Students can spend as
much time as
Morphological Development Is The Best Ways For How...
Morphological development is one of the best ways as to how children gain, and become
knowledgeable. Morphemes assist in helping, and guiding children with learning how to read,
and how to spell. Morphemes are the building blocks that children need in order to succeed, fully
grasp, and master language. For a couple of weeks now we have taken apart child s X language
sample, and have studied her usage on pragmatics, now we will be taking a closer look at her
morpheme, and syntax. The first step in analyzing Child X s usage on morphemes was to collect
data from her two videos that would allow us to gain further knowledge. In her first video, child X
had an MLU score of 2.3 resulting in stage III according to Brown s stages of development. The
second video of child X had an MLU score of 4.26 resulting in stage V. In both of these two video
s child X used a couple of Brown s 14 morphemes. In video one, child x used three out of the
fourteen that Brown has listed, child X used prepositions, plural, and lastly uncontractible
auxiliary. Prepositions were said in utterances 3, 20, 27, 35, 38, and 44, in these utterances child X
says for example I want to see or I need to open it (Gomez Transcript 1 Video 1). Child X used plural
words in utterances 1, 2, 7, 8, 15, and 19 were she says That s my lunch (Gomez Transcript 1).
Lastly child X used a uncontractible auxiliary, child X says these in utterances 37, 45, 46 and 48
where she says It s so squishy! (Gomez Transcript 1 Video
The People Believe About Rastafarians
Despite what many people believe about Rastafarians, there are many misunderstandings. Many
are set on calling any person that has dreadlocks, or anyone who lives away from the Rasta society.
Reggae musicians, weed smokers and Jamaican lingo talkers are in the make beliefs of the
Rastafarians. Clearly those exterior references only create a more confusing understanding of
Rastafarians. For anyone to call themselves Rasta, one must know everything about their culture.
Unlike other religions where all one has to do is accept whatever that religion says without study,
one must study the doctrine, the diet, the laws and the strict codes that obey to the Rasta faith. It is
seen as a way of life rather than just another religion. Since each... Show more content on

Garvey s dream of a return to Africa became the Rastafarian dream as well, and some Rastafarians
have indeed settled in Ethiopia, Ghana, and Zaire. One of the early impacts who paved the way
for the rise of this cult was Marcus Garvey. Garvey lived in New York City, and believed that the
black man would never receive fair treatment in a white man s world. He then organized a back to
Africa movement that attracted thousands. Which were followers among the poor blacks of
certain large city urban areas. Garvey was convicted of mail fraud, and spent time in prison.
When he finally returned to his native Jamaica in 1927, Garvey allegedly prophesied that a black
king would be crowned in Africa. He also stated through that monarch freedom for dark skin
people would be realized eventually. Garvey himself never joined the succeeding religious
movement that became known as Rastafarianism. Garvey was even critical of Haile Selassie for
leaving Ethiopia during the time of the Italian Fascist occupation. Entirely too many people are
caught up on the concept of whether Tafari Makonnen, also known as His Imperial Majesty Haile
Selassie I, was Christ, and whether he was or was not the returning Messiah in the flesh. To many
people, it is necessary to belittle King Selessie s role and
Cursive Letters
Catholic schools tend to emphasize teaching cursive to their students for its historical roots and its
fluidity. As a result, in third grade, my teachers spent weeks teaching my peers and I to write in
cursive. Today I write in script properly, if not often, unlike many of my classmates from public
schools. Although I rarely think of this superfluous skill as an asset, it comes in handy when I need
to write under a time restraint. My cursiveletters are quick and slanted; ink flowing in fast loops
and lines as I hurry to get out my message, the side of my hand never leaving the page in my rush.

It will attempt to alleviate the sufferings and better the lives of thousands, however, the emphasis
of my efforts will not be on the quantity, but on the lives themselves. My relentless drive and open
mindedness will cause great change in the world. I want to break down negative, close minded
prejudices and make way for newer, purer methods. Everyone in the world should choose
happiness over hate, every time, and I will work all my life to persuade or allow people to do so,
although I realize this is an implausible standard to always uphold. But impossibility is no excuse
not to work for something. Working hard to complete an impossible goal must yield some
positive effects for today s people, as well as a foundation for later generations to build on. The
problems I am most passionate about solving include the rapidly deteriorating environment, the
inequality and hatred of women and certain races or religions in parts the world, and the lack of
rights and choices for citizens living under dictatorial governments. Only with relentless work can
anything be done to alleviate these ills, and I am willing to dedicate my life to any of these
purposes. Most people are not even aware of the severity of many of these problems, and among
those who do realize the extent of these issues, many do not or do not know how to make a
difference. Although I do not strictly adhere to all of the values instilled in me by my Catholic
education, the most important principles I learned from Catholicism are the same ones that are so
often overlooked by society: The crucialness of toleration, duty to our fellow human beings, and
responsibility for the Earth we all share. I seek any solution for these issues; they necessitate
creative problem solving and intensive thought. I am willing to take charge of my ideas and
implement them, directing others to do so as well if possible, or
John Green s Affect Of The Renaissance On The Renaissance
In the Crash Course video, John Green discussed about the Renaissance and some of the main
people that influenced the Renaissance. He also talked about some of the important places that had
an affect on the Renaissance. Along with how those places were able to affect the Renaissance.
Mr.Green also states some reasoning to why he believes that the Renaissanceisn t a real event and
how it never happened. Mr.Green says that the Renaissance was the rebirth after all the terrible
things that happened throughout the dark ages of the 14th century Europe. The Renaissance
happened during the 15th and 16th century in Europe but mostly in Italy. It supposedly ushered
Europe into the modern era of rationality, secularism, and individualism. The Renaissance... Show

Now each city state had a product that made them prosper. For Florence it was cloth, Milan arms, but
Venice and Genoa became extremely rich of off trade. That would be why the wealthiest city state
was Venice. That is because they were excellent shipbuilders, sailors, and merchants. They figured
out how to trade with the biggest economic power in the region, the Ottomans. They created most
their profit from trading paper to the Ottomans. Another way they turned a profit was with the highly
sought after Florentine textiles due to the textiles vibrant color that was dyed with alum. Now they
could only get this chemical for the Ottomans until 1460. That was when the Pope s godson found
alum in Italy and they started to mine the alum. The family in charge of the alum mining rights were
the Medici. Another way the Muslims had an affect on the Renaissance was they supplied many of
the literary works for the Italians to study. This was because the Muslims spent centuries working on
Ancient Greek writings. They especially worked with the writings of apothem you and Aristotle.
Aristotle was very important because he was the starting point for both the Muslims and the
Christians. Another great thing we can thank the Muslims for was influencing the great mind of
