Gay Marriage Right or Wrong
Gay Marriage Right or Wrong

There are so many ethical issues that are continuously debated and still there has been no
resolution. Gay Marriage is an ethical issue that has been debated for years. This is an issue that I
think that will continue to be debated as a clear answer as to why it is morally wrong has yet to be
determined. For so long a deontological view has been applied to the subject. Those who are
opposed to same sex marriage take on this view. I do not think that a deontological view will solve
the issue of whether same sex marriage is right or wrong. However I do fee l that taking on a
perspective brought to the issue by relativism will assist in giving an understanding of why it is
important that we ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
And allowing gay marriage will only open the door to more broken homes.

On the other hand when taking on a relativism perspective on can argue that children that are
raised in same sex parent households are no different from those raised in a traditional household.
Same sex marriage has not only been argued by those who oppose as only being a union between
man and woman. Those opposed can also argue that marriage is not between two people (a man
and woman) but of those not related. This brings in the argument of the what deontologists would
support The Slippery Slope argument, which argues that allowing same sex marriage will only
lead us down a slope that welcomes incest and polygamy. Those who support this also feel that if
gay marriage is allowed that it would threaten the institution of marriage. I disagree with this
argument. I feel that now days a person is going to do what they want. As long as there are two
consenting adults then gay marriage should be allowed. Same sex couples want to be married for
the same reasons as heterosexual couple. I do not feel that allowing gay marriage says hey you
can now marry your brother or sister etc. Although it s not talked about a lot there are a lot of
people who practice polygamy. There are different cultures and countries where it is the norm to
have more than one wife and it is perfectly fine. So I do not think this is a slippery slope. Taking a
relativism approach when examining the

Now we will talk about the experiences of some developed countries in the exploitation of solar

these countries planning to use the solar energy. (www.ezinearticles.com )

Germany Ten thousand megawatts: Germany is one of the most countries use of solar energy, and
plans because the rate of use will be 100% by the year 2050. In view of the year 2009 alone, we
find that Germany has installed 3,806 megawatts of solar power generators; any more than the full
capacity of solar energy Spain, and nearly eight times what the United States has recently install it.

Spain
3 500 megawatts: for as long as Spain was the leader in the field of solar energy use in their
capacity of 2008 amounted to the equivalent of Al2605 megawatts, but abandoned this position in
favor of Germany, so the sharp decline in that year s event in 2009, where Spain is the time did not
ride only 69 megawatts only. However, Spain is expected to return to the top spot this year.

The letter also informed that an Annual Report was necessary within section 21 CFR 814.84 for
the PMA approval to stay in place. This Annual Report should have the following parts: number of
devices distributed during the regulation period, the number of the devices implanted in people, the
amount of deaths and explants, and a survival table. It is important to note that the deaths should be
broken down into related to the pacemaker and not related. The explants should be broken down
into those that no longer had battery, complications that could not be solved with programming, and
other safety and efficacy problems. Other than the Annual Report the company should also perform
a post approval study (PAS). The ending of the letter warns against the repercussions if some of
these requirements are not met. It also informs the company of what steps need to be taken if the
product was changed or if any safety and efficacy problems arose that made the product necessary for

Cause And Effect Of Underdeveloped Communication Skills
Cause and Effect In this essay I will demonstrate to families who lack a good foundation of
communication that developing healthy communication skills can lead to building closer
relationships and solving mental health issues. Underdeveloped communication skills is a common
thing in today s generation. Many families do not realize that they have unhealthy communication
skills until it is addressed by a professional of some sort. Technology has lead many families in
America to believe that the bare minimum, such as calling and texting, is one of the healthiest forms
of communicating when it is not. Developing communication skills on a higher level than
technology can contribute to building better relationships, better verbal conversations and better
mental health overall. Developing better communication skills is more than talking to someone to
get a point across. Listening and understanding the key components of the conversation is a part of
having communication skills. By listening, issues would be processed better which would help
establish a common ground between the people that are having a conversation. Establishing healthy
communication skills can have a very positive effect on families in the way that many issues can be
solved just from this. One of the first issues that come from underdeveloped communication skills
would be depression. Many children and teenagers in families go through depression due to holding
in problems that they are too afraid to share with
Heroic Heros
Most of the heroes in the superhero universe can be broken down into three groups. Marvel and
DC Comics are the main contributors to this superhero fandom. These two companies even
contributed the term superhero. Neither company owns it, they just share it. Many of the
interesting heroes/ heroines have brain powers, body powers, and some are even powerless. This
class is the mind boggling brainiac s. Not because they are smart, but because they have brain
powers. Brain powers include telekinesis, aqua kinesis, telepathy, and many more. The most
classic and recognizable candidate for Brainiac s would be Jean Grey. Jean Grey was 10 years
old when her mutant telepathic powers first manifested after experiencing the emotions of a
dying friend. ( Jean Grey , 2006, para.1). Her telekinetic abilities allow her to levitate or pick up
cars with her mind. She also has telepathic abilities, this allows her to read minds and put thoughts
in people s brains. Jean and her amazing powers landed her a spot as one of the founding X Men.
Aquaman is another suitable hero for this class. Aquaman, like his name suggests, has the power
to control the water. This is called aqua kinesis. Another cool power of his is telepathy, like Jean,
but with a twist. He uses his telepathy to communicate with the sea creatures, like the dolphins and
the menacing sharks. There are moments where I m in the shower, or even just playing in water
that I feel like aqua man. I feel as if I have his aqua kinetic
Analysis Of Old School By Tobias Wolff
In modern society, we often face competition to survive. We may forget our own truth because of
our selfish behavior. However, no person can say that people who value their integrity highly are
good people, and no one is curious about what is and is not really ethical behavior. There are
always certain experiences that shape a person s moral standpoint and integrity. In Old School by
Tobias Wolff, he expresses this message in the book. The main character of the book, is a fictional
alter ego of Tobias Wolff. Throughout this novel, He is trying to provide the basis of truth by using
various scenes, characters, and other incidents, he expressed it. Reading this novel, the audience will
probably be curious about what is true and untruthful. Wolff did not say the name of the protagonist
in this novel, but by writingin the first person, he portrayed the main charger as another self of
himself, and through this manner, readers have had the opportunity to lead themselves. Readers are
left to ask, what is the truthfulness and false in our live.

In the first chapter, the narrator s Jewish background is an important symbol. He has many matter
of inside clashes with his forefather. The narrator is half jewish however he decided to keep this in
secret since he is embarrassed about being jewish. He stated, I had been raised catholic; up to now

Abstract With the increasing variety of mobile applications, reducing the energy utilization of mobile
devices is a major challenge in multimedia streaming applications. In this paper we investigate
energy efficient offloading policy for transcoding as a service in a generic mobile cloud system. we
explores how to minimize the energy consumption of the backlight when displaying a video stream
without adversely impacting the user s visual experience. we put forward algorithms to solve the
fundamental problem and prove the optimality in terms of energy savings. Finally, based on the
algorithms, we present a cloud based energy saving service.
The proposed offloading policy can reduce energy consumption on both mobile devices and the
cloud jointly, which provides guidelines for the design of green mobile cloud. Keyword: Mobile

Miguel s long history with of alcohol use began when he was 13 years old and at the age of 23 he
was arrested for driving while under the influence. Even after his arrest, Miguel continued to
drink and believes his drinking is not a problem. Currently, Miguel drinks an average of (2 to 3)
rum and coke drinks per day (3 to 4) times a week. Miguel also reported intermittent use of
marijuana throughout his lifetime that also began around the age of 13. Miguel used marijuana
heavily throughout his 20 s and 30 s but currently reports smoking one to two joints per month.
Additionally, Miguel has smoked a half a pack of cigarettes a day for the past ten years and has
no desire of ever quitting. Miguel s affliction with watching pornographic materials began in his
childhood and reports that his first experience with porn occurred when his father gave him a
Playboy magazine to look at and told him that he could learn about sex if he looked at these
pictures and read the articles. Miguel learned about masturbation by reading an article and since
that time his pornography use increases and decreases but has always been present. Miguel was
able to look at pictures from magazines for several years but when the Internet boomed porn
became more and more of an issue. Over the past 10 years, Miguel has spent 2 3 hours per day on
the internet looking at pornography websites; however, his sexual behavior extends beyond the act
of viewing pornographic material that includes online chatting, internet hook ups, sex for pay, going
to strip clubs frequently, and sex with strangers. Miguel s wife is unaware of the extent of her

Cultural Values Of Cultures, Navajo, Laguna, And Euro...
This essay will explore the cultural values of three different cultures; Navajo, Laguna, and Euro
American culture. Two of the cultures that I will be exploring are the Native communities that I
have been well exposed to since I was a child. The values that I will be discussing are gender,
education, and money. Growing up on a reservation in New Mexico, I have a closer insight on the
similarities and differences of those values.
The first value I will be analyzing is gender. Gender is a topic that varies in every culture. The idea is
gender has changed and evolved from the settlement of Europeans in the beginning of this nation.
Many of the values that were adopted by the Europeans were inspired by the Native Americans.
They were changed ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
With that said, the man, hastiin, is the second gender. Although important, they aren t on the same
level of the woman. They hold the same values of the common man in Western culture, being the
protector and breadwinner.
The third gender is called the nadleeh, or hermaphrodite in English. They are individuals that
demonstrate characteristics of the opposite gender. There are the female bodied nadleeh and the
male bodied nadleeh. This is a Navajo, and common Native tradition, that has been adopted to fit the
gender diversity in communities and society.
The masculine female gender is different from the primary female. Meaning they don t subject
themselves to the primary female roles, they occupy the roles that are usually associated with men.
This also applies to the feminine male gender. The feminine male gender performs work that is
usually performed by the females. This concept was also developed to identify with gender diversity.
Modern day concepts of gay and lesbian have been adapted into Native culture. But those who with
identify those concepts would not be connected with with cultural concepts of the nadleeh gender.
There are complicated concepts of relationships when you analyze the gender values of Native
communities and the values that the Euro Americans have now. Navajos have five separate gender
categories that arise from the five genders explained above. Those categories are traditional,
transitional, contemporary, acculturated, and
