Career Research Paper Accounting
Career Research Paper: Your Career By Robert Bussey Teacher Class 015 Month 2014 Robert
Bussey English AP Hofmaier 18 March 2015 Career Research Paper Creative Title I. Introduction
Have you ever wanted to work with a lot of money or even work in the front offices of sports
team? Well, then accounting could be a great career choice for you. Accounting is defined as the
action of keeping financial accounts. Accounting is a very misconceptive career path as many
believe it to be people siting in a cubicle crunching numbers. As there are some people who do
partake in this side of accounting, accounting is not merely this concept, however, it is for people
who work well in a group together and work to solve peoples problems that have to do with money.
Accounting is the career I chose because it involves sociable, detailed oriented people, who work
with numbers, coming together to solve problems money related. In this paper, I will cover the
history of my field, some educational requirements, what actually is accounting, some common
misconceptions about accounting, some famous accountants, and other careers one can achieve with
an accounting degree.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In his book he first described to the world a system of debits credits and balancing them (aka
accounting) and revealed to the world a new career that is very beneficial in America. The
different ideas he first came up with in his book are still the basic ideas of accounting we have
today. Of course, we have expanded on his revolutionary ideals but without his start, accounting
would not be the profession it is
Medical Billers And Coders Essay
Medical billers and coders must pay attention to detail. Medical billers and coders should have an
understanding of anatomy and physiology in order to interpret medical reports written by
healthcare providers. Having knowledge of how the body s systems work and the principles of
physiology will aid medical billers and coders to correctly codeprovider services and it will also
enable them effectively communicate with the provider in obtaining additional medical
documentation when needed. (Holley, 2012, p. 1). The understanding of anatomy and physiology
also gives medical billers and coders the ability to properly identify and provide a more accurate
diagnosis code for the procedures and services specifically used to treat certain parts of the body.
The understanding of medical reports will impact medical billers and coders ability to code accurate
and timely claims for reimbursement.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
One example is recognizing conditions that may affect a certain region of the body, such as a
patient being diagnosed with rhinosinusitis and was prescribed a two week regimen of antibiotics.
From the medical report, the biller/coder must be able to apply proficient knowledge of medical
terminology. The coder should be able to break down the medical term rhino sinus itis. The
anatomy for rhino is nose, the physiology of the nose is the lined membranes which is sinus and
the condition is ( itis, the inflammation of). Understanding the basic body function enables the biller
/coder to translate the provider s medical documentation for correctly coding and billing. The
diagnosis code was always the same for each billing would be for the initial evaluation of a new
patient outpatient or billing and coding for an established patient
My Parent s Approval Is Not The Easiest Task
An Arising Problem The only permission, the only validation and the only opinion that matters in
our quest for greatness is our own (Maraboli). In today s world it is difficult to curb that nasty
habit of seeking approval from others. It is probably due to the fact that if we don t feel like we are
accepted we will become unnoticed, unimportant or forgotten. When in reality the only sense of
acceptance that is needed is within ourselves. My parents approval was not the easiest task to
achieve. Despite my feelings throughout my experience, the moment my parents demonstrated
how proud they were of me, it all felt worth it. It is an event that has impacted how I am as a
person today. Let s go panthers, let s go! the crowd chanted as I sat on the bench once again
watching the game intensely. Sweat was dripping down my teammates face like a melting
popsicle on a hot summer day. It was my freshman year during the last game of the season that I
questioned why am I here? I worked my butt off during practice like the rest of my teammates,
how come I barely played. It was at this moment I realized I sucked at basketball and I did not want
to tryout next year. All of a sudden the coach screamed interrupting my thoughts, Emily go in for
Samantha! I bolted off the chair and focused on what I had to do. After, I played a good amount of
time throughout the third and fourth quarter, the game ended and we took the win. My parents
proudly congratulated me and that s when the fear of
Is My Team Plowing by A.E. Housman Essay
The Afterlife ...a very curious subject that we as humans want to know about, we never want to
experience it but we wonder what it would be like. Me as an individual, I am fascinated by the
endless amount of ways life could be after death, if there even is life after death. Maybe one day
you have the gloomy ,and desirable curiosity questions floating in your head like, do they miss me,
or have they moved on already? In Is my Team Plowing , by A.E. Housman, the emotional speaker
discusses how life goes on after death. The speaker, who is thought to be the friend of a dead man,
is guilty for moving on in life and having relations with his deceased friend s wife, so he is having a
moment of guilt in his head or else that s how I... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
People will eventually be forgotten, and life will continue on earth for everyone else. The poem
structure is an eight stanza quatrain with a rhyme scheme of ABCB. Is football playing / Along
the river shore, / With lads to chase the leather, / Now I stand up no more? (Housman 9 12). Each
stanza alternates between questions from the dead man and answers from his friend. Stanzas that
are quoted represent the dead man s questions. The stanzas without quotations are responses from
the friend who is alive. Each stanza is significant because it reveals a little background of some of
the things the dead man participated in. The speaker of the poem is a matter of opinion and how
you look at things. One outcome is that it s the dead man literally talking to his friend in some way
and they are discussing life. The second thought is that the friend is having internal conflict with
himself with the fact that he got with the dead man s wife. The purpose is to communicate
emotionally a certain truth about human life; life goes on after our deaths. Very similar to the way
life was before your death.
It also emphasizes the humans sense of betray and guilt that may follow after the death of a
friend. (Arp and Johnson 687). Yes, lad, I lie easy, / I lie as lads would choose; / I cheer a dead man
s sweetheart, / Never ask me whose. (Housman 29 32). The irony of the story that you catch on at
the end is that his friend hooked up with his girlfriend and life
Fields Of Practice In Social Work
The first concept of generalist practice is the acquisition of an eclectic knowledge base. Because
the field of social work is constantly growing and evolving, generalist social workers must have a
broad range of knowledge in order to effectively help clients who have a variety of needs to be
met. There are eight specific eclectic knowledge bases listed as the following: fields of practice,
systems theory, the ecological perspective, human behavior and the social environment, social
welfare policy and policy practice, social workpractice, research informed practice and practice
informed research, and values and principles that guide practice. The first knowledge base, fields of
practice, is the understanding of the numerous areas of social... Show more content on

The third knowledge base is the ecological perspective which refers to living, dynamic interactions
between people and their respective environments. An understanding of this perspective involves
the realization that people have their own contexts in their social environments. The fourth
knowledge base is the understanding of human behavior and the social environment, which
requires the awareness that people are constantly interacting with one another in accordance to
their immediate, social environment. A social worker that understands HBSE would look not
only at the client as the sole problem of a situation but would also assess and explore the
surrounding influences from the client s environment. The fifth knowledge base is social welfare
policy and policy practice. Social welfare policies set the regulations of what types of social
programs are available and to whom they are available. Generalist social workers must be
experienced in the knowledge of these policies in order to successfully link clients to the resources
that they are eligible to
Omniscience Of Power In The Book Thief By Markus Zusak
Markus Zusak conveys power in The Book Thief through the characterisation of Death, the
omniscient narrator and the protagonist; Liesel. As an omniscient narrator Death is in power
due to his knowledge of all characters and events, Liesel is powerless during this time as she is a
young female and a Jew. Liesel is depicted as powerless as Jews are targeted during this time of
war and she is yet to know when she is going to be taken away. Zusak displays Death as an
omniscient narrator because Death is always ever present he holds most of the power in regards to
immortality. Death is powerful due to him being able to take souls and send them to the afterlife
/heaven. Death is also knowledgeable, he perceives every character and knows the result

As for Hamlet, I note in passing the well known fragments of evidence which indicate the existence
of a Hamlet tragedy before the publication of Shakespeare s Second Quarto in 1604.
These are, counting backwards a phrase in Dekker s Satiromastix, 1602, My name s Hamlet:
Revenge!

The earliest reference seems to be in Nash s Epistle prefixed to
Greene s Menaphon: it is dated 1589, but was perhaps printed in

Broken Crown Myth
What to do with a broken crown tooth?
The importance of the teeth is nothing new to be described as these plays an inevitable role in our
life. All of us understand the need and the advantage of having healthy teeth throughout our life. The
dentures and the implants are the excellent examples to teach us the usefulness of the original teeth.
There are several complications that are related with the oral and dental health that tend us to seek
the services from a dentist. The broken crown is one of these complications that require intervention
from the dentists. The crowns are usually found to be intact for lifetime but in some cases, these
may become broken or get chipped due to different reasons. In these conditions, we need to see the
dentist for an appropriate cure.
What is a crown tooth?
The simplest definition of the dental crown is that; It is a sort of dental restoration that surrounds the
cap of the tooth to make a cap like ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
As discussed earlier the degree of damage of the crown is responsible for the severity of the
symptoms; for example, the broken crown in hard traumatic injury may develop sharp pain while
the chronic decay may be characterized by the hot and cold sensations.
Is there anything I can do to fix it?
This is the biggest mistake that anyone can make after having the broken crown. The dental crowns
are typical implants sort of object that cannot be fitted without expert dental intervention. The ideas
about rubbing some material on the broken crown or filling it with some material may not only
deteriorate the situation but also create further complications.
Should I replace?
It is strongly advised to replace the dental crown to prevent the chances of further damage to the
tooth. The chipped or the cracked tooth may easily get damaged in case of chewing something or
due to the effect of the beverages or the other hard things. It is better to replace the same as early as
possible.
What is the cost of the dental
The Day At Marine Corps
A million thoughts were running through my head as we drove from Savannah, Georgia
International Airport in the dead of night. I along with 50 other new recruits were herded on to a
bus and told to put our heads down as they drove around for what seemed like hours. The recruiters
used this as a disorienting and scare tactic, so we would have no idea where we were. As we arrived
at MarineCorps Recruit Depot Parris Island, I thought to myself, holy shit, am I really doing this?
As the bus pulled to a stop a drill instructor stepped on to the bus. He began shouting unintelligible
words at us in a raspy, gruff voice. The only words I was able to understand were off and bus . I didn
t give it a second thought, I was off the bus as fast... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I had been awake for over 40 hours when they issued us our M16 A2 Service Rifles and cleaning
kits. Little did I know that I would be spending night and day with this rifle and it would become a
part of me. Receiving our rifles was the highlight of the day, we knew it was real now. After the
armory we put on all 50 pounds of gear and walked for what seemed like miles to our new home, 4th
Battalion Platoon 4005 Upper Deck Papa Company A Side. When we were introduced to our new
home we were told to label all our new issued gear. 2 pairs of combat boots, 4 towels, 7 pairs of
underwear, 7 sports bras, 2 sets of utility camos, etc. Once we had finished labeling all our gear
we were able to hit the racks, I was asleep before my head hit the pillow. Being awake for 54 hours
had taken its toll on me. But I knew this was the easiest day we would have during our stay. I
awoke the following morning to shouts of LIGHTS, LIGHTS, LIGHTS! which meant get the
hell out of bed as fast as you can and stand on line. As we stood waiting for our instructions from
our drill instructors, we could all sense each others fear. For the next 13 weeks we would be told
what to do how to think and when to breath. Not only was it physical but also psychological, we
would be torn down and built in to the perfect Marine. After we were yelled at to get dressed in our
camies, we marched down to the chow hall. I had maybe 2 minutes to scarf down my
Risks of Teenagers Obtaining a Driver s Licence
Most teens look forward to getting a driver s license. But that may change if they know that they
have a much higher risk of having a motor accident than adult drivers. In the United States, driving
accidents are a leading cause of death among teenagers. These accidents happen mostly in populated
cities. This problem has caused each state to have its own drivinglaws for teens. Although this
problem is already a priority in many states, it should get more attention from the general public,
especially teens. It is important for people to know about driving laws because these laws can help
establish safe driving habits. California laws that attempt to decrease teen caused auto accidents
include establishing a minimum age for passengers of teenage drivers. In California, a new driver
cannot transport anyone who is under 20 years of age unless a licensed adult is also in the
vehicle. Another effective law in California requires teen drivers to have at least 50 hours of
supervised driving during the learner s permit stage. This law is effective because it allows teens to
learn how to drive safely on the road with the help of an experienced driver. Although some laws are
effective, teens are still known to cause accidents. Therefore, a solution should be proposed to the
state governments that will call for a law that requires teens to take an annual mandatory driving test
for a certain number of years after obtaining a license.
Existing Driving Laws Fail to Ensure Safety As
