What Is The BMS

The Building Management System (BMS) is an automation system that monitors and controls various electrical and mechanical equipment in a building. It consists of components such as workstations, field devices, and DDC controllers, which manage inputs and outputs related to HVAC and electrical systems. BMS can integrate with various systems like air handling units, exhaust fans, elevators, and third-party protocols such as Bacnet and Modbus for enhanced functionality and communication.
