Snowfall On Mars
Mars has been a planet scientists have been interested in for many reasons, for many years. In Mars
has nighttime snow storms , Ashley Yeager furthers her studies on Mars by focusing on the
possibility of night time snow on Mars. Yeager explains how snowfall on Mars could even occur
through scientific evidence.
Yeager states that satellites showed that snow covered the Martian poles in 2008 and
NASA s Pheonix lander detected snow falling below a nighttime water ice cloud in 2008. This also
being the first time scientist have seen snowfall on Mars. According to Eager in the beginning
scientist had believed that snowfall occurred the same way it did on Earth; however, the gravity and
water vapor on Mars compared to Earth doesn t match up. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Their findings showed that fast falling snow could occur on cold nights. Unlike on Earth when
water ice particles grow into the snow and then fall, low temperature cool water ice clouds, creating
strong winds that push water ice crystals toward the ground, creating fast falling snow.
Yeager had a clear objective and enough evidence to back up her findings, while also leaving
room for scientists to continue researching. Each statement was backed up with enough scientific
evidence for a reader to understand the purpose of the article. For example, she broke down how
the snow being able to fall at the same speed it does on Earth, through another scientist research.
There was no quantitative or qualitative data because all the data was research based and no need
for statistical analysis. I don t believe Yeager could ve done anything else to make this article
better. She provided enough information to support her objective while still allowing the research
to continue for other scientists. A reader who came across would have to do further research on
how snowfall could occur on Mars unless they wanted a deeper explanation. The use of the internet
was helpful since that is how I found
Essay on Teaching Philosophy Statement
Teaching Philosophy Statement Teaching is not a profession; it s a passion. Without passion for
your subject and a desire for your students to learn and be the best in the world, then we have
failed as a teacher and failure is not an option. John F. Podojil. In my opinion, this quotation is very
true. If you do not have the passion to teach your students what is right in the world and what makes
them be the best they can be, then you are not really teaching your students or you have failed and
failure is not an option. I want to not only teach my students important subject manner but be an
inspiration to my students as well. I want to be the teacher that students will come back to in ten or
fifteen years and say,... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
When I first thought about this I thought, Oh my God, I m going to be a role model for most of
the male students in my class! It s kind of overwhelming when you think about it. But then I
thought, I m a great guy and a good hearted individual; I have nothing to worry about except for
maybe the first day! My teaching style will be an eclectic blend of all the teaching philosophies, I
think my main teaching philosophy will mostly be a mix of essentialism and existentialism. As a K
8 teacher I feel that you should teach the traditional subjects to students this helps to develop their
character, which will affect them for the rest of their lives in society. I also believe that students
should be able to express themselves in some way throughout the school year by the means of
playing games to help them learn to do things and being able to have at least once during the school
year a talent day in which the students show their many talents. I might also have the students keep a
journal throughout the school year so that they can express their own personal thoughts and feelings
for the day on paper. This sometimes helps with students who have emotional problems or problems
with other students in the class get their thoughts out so that there may not be as many fights as
there could be. I will use direct and indirect methods of learning to teach my
Aids – the Duty to Warn
November 30, 2011
Aids The Duty to Warn The AIDS epidemic began in the early to mid 1980 s and since it s
recognition in America it has become a very heated and debated topic among health professionals,
the gay community, and most of all for the ones that are carrying the virus. The real debate is not
over the virus itself but, rather about the infected individuals and whether or not they should be
made morally obligated to tell their sexual partners if they are in fact infected. Both sides of the
argument make very valid points. From one standpoint you have the gay community that believe in
safer sex ethic , which keeps their partners in the dark about their overall health status and feel they
are not morally obligated to tell their ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The court held the psychologist responsible for the murder of his girlfriend and for not informing of
the intent to harm. I believe Justice Tobriner said it best, the protective privilege ends where the
public peril begins. Overall, both sides of the argument make very valid points when it comes to
patient/partner confidentiality, autonomy, and the moral obligation of the individuals who willing
know that they are infected with HIV/AIDS to tell their sexual partner. As stated before, I firmly
believe that any individual who engages in sexual activity with a partner are ethically and
morally obligated to tell them if they are aware that they are in fact carrying the HIV/AIDS virus.
To me, this is a very important aspect to help in the prevention and control of the deadly epidemic
of the HIV/AIDS virus. Quite simply put, the individual who knows that he is HIV seropositive or
who has reason to believe that he may be, has a moral duty to forewarn prospective partners of his
HIV status and is responsible for their fate if he does not (Erin amp; Harris,
Character Analysis Of Tough Tommy Touhey
In Empire Rising by Thomas Kelly, Tough Tommy Touhey was enjoying wealth that much of New
York City envied during the Great Depression, as he was the biggest racketeer in the Bronx and
longtime friend of Johnny Farrell, an important figure in Tammany Hall. Touhey was a well known
criminal and sympathizer to the Irish Republican cause, selling the Irish Republican Armyguns and
providing their men with daytime jobs. After many years of prosperity, Touhey s reign hit a patch
of turbulence when an Italian mobster known as the Dago began to move in on his territory,
looking to usurp his title as the most powerful crime lord in the Bronx. To make matters worse,
Touhey s friend and partner Johnny Farrell was beginning to have doubts about their partnership,
wondering if he should support the Dago instead. Once things heated up between Touhey and the
Dago, Touhey faked his own death and escaped to San Francisco. In Empire Rising, Tough
Tommy Touhey serves as the main vehicle by which the underlying message of the consequences
of the choices we make and the allegiances we keep is conveyed. Tough Tommy Touhey s main
personality traits, such as his propensity for violence, craftiness, and admiration for loyalty, help
reveal the ramifications of his actions and allegiances. One of Touhey s most defining qualities is
his natural inclination toward violence, as can be seen by Farrell noting that when it came to
physical violence Touhey had no peer. He was the kind of street

Textual Analysis Beowulf
Ms. Dawson, this poem is getting good a little too good. Lol. Well, Beowulf decided to return a
favor to King Hrothgar by coming to fight the big coward Grendel. Lines 94 96 supports my idea
of Beowulf wasn t afraid of nothing or nobody. He could have been in the king s position, but he
chose not too for the simplest facts that he wasn t next in line. Although he was the strongest, he
wanted to do what was ethical. Beowulfdecided to take 14 of his best men because he knew they
were his ride or die. They weren t going to get scared and back down. His men weren t cowards.
Line 111 and 120 supports my decision to where they stayed strapped and ready for who or
whatever. In line 115 118, it describes their sign from God whether or not they should go and fight
this battle or to turn the boat around and go home.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Sometimes I m not afraid to ask God to send me a sign. I need that sign. Life gets hard, and I need
God to show me the way. Beowulf and his men received that sign when they traveled in a smooth
ride. Line 153 helps to build the structure of the epic poem and helps to create the scenery of when
Beowulf meets one of King Hrothgar guards. I started to see Beowulf being a cocky character. He
s steady trying to reel the guard in to let him through the gate. He gave the guard his father s name
that carriers a reputation to help lead him into the gate, but the guard got a little attitude towards
the way Beowulf was answering him. I personally don t blame him. Beowulf even insulated King
Hrothgar s men. He didn t want them to help because they must wasn t doing nothing for twelve
long dreary years. Why should he need their help? Foolish, I know. Beowulf wanted them to be
about not to talk about. His men could talk all the noise they wanted and still be about. In life, they

Indigenous People In Canada
Introduction It is very difficult to define indigenous people. No philosopher has invented a holistic
definition of these people of the world. However, they are those people too impoverished in all
societies worldwide, reorganized by their respective societies as indigenous natives, are identified
with the pre and post colonial continuity, having links with historical kingdoms and live around
natural resources with a peculiar political, economic and social set up. Over seventy nations of this
world habit indigenous people estimated to be 370 millions. What is so important is that they a rich

Mental health or disorders Mental and health disorders also give a measure of hospital
management for the mentally indigenous people. Statistics show that for the period 2005 2006,
health officials registered a high number of mentally sick patients of this kind in Australia.
(Australian institute of Health and welfare and australian Bureau of statistics, 2008, p. P.111).
Majority of them had psychoactive problems at 5:3 ratios for both male and female respectively,
some of which were self induced. In Canada, the situation is caused by induced and self imposed
racial discrimination. For all these reasons, the United Nations argued countries to avoid racial
discrimination by promoting equality in the provision of health services and affirmative action in
indigenous communities. (United Nations Development Program (UNDP) , 2000, P.10). Life
expectancy In Australia, the life expectancy at birth for the males had reduced and health
authorities expressed the desire to improve it. Based on statistics for 2005 2007, males
expectancy was 67.2 years showing a drop by 11.5 years for non indigenous people. For females,
the standing is 72.9 years below non indigenous people by 9.7 years. From 1996 2001, the male to
female ratio was at59.4:64.8 years. This meant that the Australian government had taken up
Reconstruction African American Reconstruction
American Reconstruction began in 1865 at the end of the civil war. The period s main focus was to
rebuild the country after war by enacting and changing many key pieces of legislature in the
American government. One divisive factor that needed to be addressed was how much
representation African Americans deserved in America. During the reconstruction period, African
American rights were extended through various new amendments and working opportunities,
however, these rights did not last long as they were undermined by black codes and sharecropping.
In 1865, the American government successfully passed the thirteenth amendment: ending the
institution of slavery in America. Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment
for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or
any place subject to their jurisdiction. The thirteenth amendment opened up economic opportunity
for African Americans as slaves were no longer owned by someone else. However, not long after
the thirteenth amendment was passed, former slaveholders and southerners created the black
codes. Black Codes were a set of laws intended to restrict African American freedoms, causing
them to go into low wage labor. A black code passed in the state of South Carolina stated, To do
farm work, a black in South Carolina had to have a written contract, attested to by white witnesses;
failure to obtain one before commencing to work was a misdemeanor
The Miami Dolphins Football Team
The Miami Dolphins, a professional football team located in Miami, Florida, has been a part of
the National Football League (NFL) since 1966. The organization is most notably known for the
1972 Miami Dolphins football team, led by Don Shula, who went undefeated a won the Super
Bowl. This team was the first and, so far, only team to have a perfect season capped off with
winning the championship game. From 1966 to 1970 the Miami Dolphinswere perceived like they
are today as a losing franchise that could not win. That was until Don Shula, helped make the
Dolphins one of the best franchises in the national football leagueduring his reign as head coach.
The time period from 1970 to 1993 were the golden years of the organization s history; during this
time the Miami Dolphins won 13 AFC East Titles, 5 AFC Championships, 2 Super Bowls and in
1973 set the league record 74,961 season ticket sales. During this time period the team had star
players Larry Csonka, Dan Marino, Bob Griese, and several others that helped to build and sustain
the Dolphins legacy. Since 1993 the Miami Dolphins have been known for holding three fantastic
super bowls in 1994, 2006, and 2009, all of which were great games that the Dolphins were not
involved in. While in recent years the Miami Dolphins have gone back to the original roots of field
losing teams, the organization has developed a marketing strategy to improve the financial situation
of the organization and maintain fan support. The Miami Dolphins
Manga
Comics didn t interest me much until a few years ago: long Indian summers spent reading Archie
digests out of utter boredom had convinced me that there wasn t much to the form. It was only
when a friend introduced me to Japanese comics (or manga) three years ago that I began to realize
that the synthesis of image and text could produce complex layers of meaning, which shifted from
reading to reading. In Japan, mangahas spread and diversified as a dominant (almost the dominant)
medium in mass culture The huge audience for manga in Japan has allowed artists to diversify into
many different types, the two primary classifications being shonen boys manga and shoujo girls

Initially, I concentrated on buying a wide range of manga to sample rather than focusing on
specific series. In this way, I acquired random volumes of series such as Gensomaden Saiyuki,
Neon Genesis Evangelion and Revolutionary Girl Utena. Once I got an idea of which types of
manga I found most appealing, I began to focus on acquiring several volumes of a particular series.
For example, I now own all of the Banana Fish volumes that have so far been translated into English.
Currently, I am eager to acquire volumes of series such as Banana Fish, Paradise Kiss and Mars,
which are all similar to apprentice novels or novels of awakening, in which the characters find
their place in society through various experiences. I am also researching other boys love artists,
such as Motoni Modoru. She borrows from several genres, including horror and Taisho period
historical novels, to produce atmospheric thrillers. More generally, I would like to focus on titles
that are more creative and unusual than the run of the mill boys love story. One example is the
mafia thriller cum horror story Face, which I acquired last October.
Lastly, the popularity of manga and Japanese animation (or anime) in America has inspired a large
number of aspiring American artists to produce work that is written in English, but incorporates
shoujo manga techniques of drawing and story telling. This movement has resulted in several
interesting collaborations and
Essay On The Tragedy Of King Lear
Up until the mid point of his career, Shakespeare divided his plays between the three major genres:
Comedy, Tragedy, and History. The tragic genre is perhaps the oldest genre in literature, dating back
to the ancient Greeks. It started with the ancient Greek celebrations of Dionysus, the god of wine
and fertility. The very simple plot of a tragedyinvolves a protagonist who desires something which
could be a lover, power, wealth, authority, and obstacles come in his way as he reaches its
fulfillment. However, After undergoing a series of challenges, the protagonist does not overcome the
obstacles, which eventually lead to his downfall and destroy him. That is apparent in the

The full title of the play itself The Tragedy of King Lear puts the play in the tragic genre. As with
all tragedies, there exists a tragic hero, one who possesses a fatal flaw that initiates the tragedy and
all the sufferings that follow. King Lear, king of England, would be the tragic hero because he
held the highest position in the social chain at the very beginning of the play. His social position
gave him pride as he remarked himself as Jupiter and Apollo . Moreover, according to the
definition of a tragic hero, one must be born into nobility, endowed with a tragic flaw, fail to
judge, fall from great heights, being aware that they have made an inevitable mistake, and faces
and accepts death with honor. King Lear meets all of these qualities. King Lear was a tragic hero
that was born into nobility, endowed with a tragic flaw and fails as he makes a serious mistake in
judgement. He owned vast amounts of land and ruled over many people. Give me the map there.

The plot is driven by the power and consequence of losses, more specifically, the losses of King
Lear. Throughout the play, because of his flaws, King Lear loses his authority as a king, his
identity as a father, and his sanity as a man. One loss becomes related to one another. Moreover, his

The Market Economy By Marge Piercy
The bizarre economy that we live in has affected us in many ways than our simple mind can fathom.
After World War II there was massive push in innovation. Human were gifted with inventions like the
Airplane, color T.V., polyvinyl cups, and precooked dinners. Nevertheless, these gifts came at an
enormous cost. That cost was pushed onto the environmentand people living in that environment.
The Market Economy by Marge Piercy illustrates the movement in American aimed at bring
attention to a global problem as well as an effort to save the planet along with the people living on it.
Marge Piercy was born in 1936 which placed her birth at the end of The Great Depression.(History

had the highest GDP per capita, people could easily find jobs you work in a new plastic (line17)
With all of new economic opportunities that happened during this time period also brought people
out of the country fresh air into more modern factories that populated the environment. and there was
a massive population boom happening. Also with a population increasing people moved outside of
the cities and in to the suburbs. This boom in population was mostly in the middle class where
families spent money on buying thing like Color T.V, polyvinyl cups, precooked meals and other
home goods to less than burden of doing house course, and increasing the leisure times. Some of the
