my internship I was able to know how works system in that place in different fields. Moreover,
with working with employee s agency I learned new things such as, talking with a client

Bullfighting In The Costa Rican Culture
Bullfighting has been part of the Costa Rican culture and the Spanish tradition as many men are
supporting this event. However, some questioned the danger these people are facing every time they
try to kill the bull.
According to Inside Costa Rica, the bullfighting is one of the many celebrations of Costa Rica this
holiday season. However, bullfighters have been risking their lives to put up the show.
Fortunately, they now have an insurance specially dedicated for the bullfighters. As one example,
the picadors of Zapote will be handed with one million colones or about $2,000 in case of
emergencies, like lifelong disabilities or tragic death.
The bullfighters, too, are qualified to have 750,000 colones or $1,500 for medical help in case they ...

However, there are times when the money given doesn t compensate the amount needed.
The Costa Rican Social Security Fund addressed that there were 61 people rushed into hospital and
clinics on the last 11 days of 2014 s bullfights, which roughly charged with 9.2 million colones.
Meanwhile, The Tico Times noted that about 100 men, who are mostly on their young age, are
gathered to attend the bullfight.
The host s voice will be heard asserting his welcoming remarks, which is compose of the bull s
name, weight, origin, and its history. When his done the orange gate will be opened and the tension
between the crowd and bullfighters will now start.
Each of the picadors will look for their safe spot while some will even try to climb the ring s
barriers. The bull will be seen quite irritated running around, at times it will just stand still, but will
stamp in anger anytime.
This will be the best time for the brave bullfighters to get close, catch and take advantage of the bull
while some guard the back of the viewers making sure the path way is clear. Additionally, the Costa
Rican bullfighting is more compassionate kind of bullfighting compare to Spanish

Introduction This paper will explore the factors of Shawn Nelson and the actions that lead him to
be shot on May 17, 1995 due to stealing a tank and destroying Clairemont community. Using the bio
psycho social perspective there are four possible determining factors that might led him to the
rememberable day in Claremont. Which are Lack of Coping Skills, Cultural Social class, Lack of
support system and Muscular skeletal system. To conclude all these factors had something to do with
the tragedy that happen in 1995.

It was mentioned that nelson was using drugs at the time. He also dug a hole 15 feet deep in his
backyard he was attempting to mine for gold while he was high on methamphetamine. While the film
mentioned little about his past and what brought nelson to do such a thing, gave me an
advantage to collect the information I need for the case. The disadvantage is that I wish there
were more information about nelsons family history and his demographic descriptions. Although
it was mentioned in the film that meth was used in the war raised a big red flag and and the
middle class naigborhhod where he was living was known for dealing with crystal meth.
However nelson was living a good life with his wife after he came back from war. Everything
exculated right after his wife left him and the death of his two parents. The question is how was
his childhood and how was the nieborhood he was living in? in the film it was briefly mentioned
that he had friends who had done drugs with him. They were also giving nelson drugs so they
could take advantage of him and his plumber business. the middle class community that Nelson was
living in was dealing crystal meth. They were also lacking job opportunities and social institution.
The additional information I would like to have is how was his childhood, how was his marriage,
what happen during his time in the war, what was
What Is Wrong With Descartes Causal Proof Of God
What is Wrong with Descartes Causal Proof of God
René Descartes was born on 31 March 1596 in La Haye, France; a city which was later renamed as
Descartes in his honor. his early life was not well documented until 1960, but it is known that he was
familiar with mathematics and philosophy (Hatfield). Sometimes described as The Father of Modern
Philosophy , not only considered a great philosopher, but also a great mathematician, contributed
greatly for both areas Cartesian geometry, for instance, was named in his honor (Norman 19). In his
Meditations, Descartes uses a causal argumentation to prove the existence of a perfect being, who he
considers to be God; these conclusions are controversial, since problems can be found in the
arguments used (Hartfield). Based on the arguments used to draw his conclusions, this essay is
going to discuss some apparent flaws in Descartes s causal proof of God.
In Meditations, Descartes discusses the false beliefs he held during his life, and in order to eliminate
them, attempts to deconstruct all of his knowledge and reinvent it with a solid foundation made only
with what is absolutely true. For this, he would deconstruct everything he perceived as true, starting
from his senses ( A Posteriori , or, according to Baehr, something that needs proper justification
through experience), to mathematics ( A Priori , or, according to Baehr, something that can be
known without experiencing) and finally reaching the fundamental truth. Also
Reaction Paper On Clint Eastwood
Spurious Miscreant While many revere Clint Eastwood as an artistic wonder when it comes to
directing, and having remarkable acumen when he pours himself into a role, not everyone shares
such positive sentiments. There have been claims that Clint Eastwood s vigilant protection of his
privacy is because he is a volatile, ill tempered man; who mirrors the violence and complete
disregard of others in the roles he s undertaken. Some just have blatant disgust for his movies, the
violence, the nasty treatment of women. Are these all things that lie secretly below the surface of
this seemingly amiable man? First, let s talk about the treatment and the depiction of women in
almost all of the movies that got Clint Eastwoodwhere he is today. I would like to start off with an
excerpt written by Laura Mulvey, from an educational textbook titled, Visual Pleasure and Narrative
Cinema:
In a world ordered by sexual imbalance, pleasure in looking has been split between active/male
and passive/female. The determining male gaze projects its fantasy on to the female figure which
is styled accordingly, in their traditional exhibitionist role women are simultaneously looked at
and displayed with their appearance coded for strong visual and erotic impact so that they can be
said to connote to be looked at ness Women displayed as sexual object is the leit motiff of erotic

Daddy Sylvia Plath Essay
Immediately upon the passing of Sylvia Plath s father, Otto Plath, she was deeply mortified. Plath
was only eight years old when her father died of pulmonary embolism following an injury
complicated by diabetes. After his death, she began writing poetry as an escape from her emotions.
Many of Plath s poems have been influences by experiences from her own life such as the deathof her
father. Throughout Sylvia Plath s poem Daddy, she uses powerful images to confess her attitudes
toward her late father and also toward her husband. Daddy has an ironically affectionate title, for
this poem is a violent attack on the dead parent. In the poem Daddy by Sylvia Plath, she uses
metaphors, imagery, and symbolism to represent the holocaust. In Sylvia... Show more content on

It could mean before she had time to get to know him, or before she could make him proud of her.
Either way, it comes off as surprising that the speaker had to do such a thing like killing her
father. The speaker confuses the audience when she says this because the audience is not sure if
she is sad that he is dead, or if she is angry, or what. Marble heavy, a bag full of God, is a statement
that is made to make us imagine a marble gravestone. The bag full of God could be a reference to
a body bag, or the speaker could make an assumption that the skin surrounding our bodies could
be a bag. Following this, the speaker says Ghastly statue with one gray toe/ Big as a Frisco seal,
which means that the previous phrase Marble heave was meant to imagine the speaker s father as
a statue (290). The ghastly statue, means that he looks like a gargoyle. Then the speaker says that
one of the statue s gray toes is as big as a Frisco, talking about San Francisco, California, and a
seal, talking about an oceanic animal. In the third stanza, the speaker says And a head in the
freakish Atlantic/Where it pours bean green over blue/In the waters of the beautiful Nauset (290).
Nauset is an inlet in Cape Cod. The image the speaker describes sounds pretty. These three lines

The Sally Kristen Ride
Sally Kristen Ride broke barriers. Independent and outgoing are two words that described her from
day one. When opportunities came to her she took them and always tried her hardest. These
characteristics of hers really defined her as a person. The science and women s rights world have
both been affected by her. She showed them both that a woman can do just as much as a man.
Today, her works are honored by both worlds. On May 26, 1951 Sally was born to the great state of
California. Joyce Ride and Dale B. Ride were the two extraordinary people she was born to. Two
years later she became a big sister. Karen Ride was Sally s little sister and called bear. Until the age

Astronauts have to take tests before being assigned a mission. Some before flight tests are eye,
ear, and brain testing for good health. Physical and psychological exams and a stress test can be
administered. Along with tests that regard the body, mental tests are given, such as a written
essay and an interview. When Sally first took flight she was thirty two years old. Even though
Valentina Tereshrova beat Sally to the title First Woman in Space on June 16, 1963, it never
stopped Sally from doing her best. Sally s first flight was June 18, 1983. Her mission was STS 7.
Her first flight was on the shuttle Challenger. Captain Robert L. Crippen, Captain Fredrick H.
Hauck, Colonel John M. Fabian, and Dr. Norman E. Thagard were the crew members, excluding
Sally. On this flight she was Mission Specialist and used the robotic arm. Another job Sally had
on flight was flight engineer. The total flight duration was one hundred and forty seven hours.
STS 7 landed at Edwards Air Force Base in California on June 24, 1983. After this flight Sally was
credited with the title First American Woman in Space. October 5, 1984 Sally s second flight
launched. This flight was STS 41 G. On this flight she was also Mission Specialist. One hundred
ninety seven hours was the duration of this flight. The shuttle landed October 13, 1984. Once,
during an interview a reporter asked what launch felt like. Space Mountain is what Sally
compared launch to. Space Mountain is a ride in Walt Disney World s Magic Kingdom park, and
said the ride was scarier. After her flights Sally went on tour. After the STS 7, Sally lost much of
her privacy. The new popularity traumatized Sally. Respect for Sally from the public started to
disappear. Many saw her as just an idol. With this new popularity, Sally disappeared. No one could
reach her. When she returned, Sally started to question NASA s motives. Sally retired
Compare And Contrast The South And South
The north and the south emerged as two distinct reasons because they had various differences. The
south and north both had their own ways of having their economy and the geograph was in favor for
the south while the north had poor soil. These differences include the geography, slavery, and the
economy.

The South s geography had nice fertile area so they could farm in the mainly cotton and many other
crops. With the nice fertile area they could grow many crops. The south s main crop is cotton and
cotton is the most valuable crop in the southern states. In the text it states Both parts of the South
were still agricultural, but the Upper South still produced tobacco, hemp, wheat, and vegetables. The

Slavery is almost everything to the south because they used them for farming. Slaves were used
in farming and to mostly pick cotton and they could clean the owner s house and do other jobs.
The way slaves were beneficial to the south was that the owners did not have to pay the slaves to
work and if they did not they would be whipped for not work hard enough or fast enough.
Although most of the south thought that slavery was everything to them, there are some slaves
owners who are nice and take care of the slaves and later free most of their slaves if they have
worked long enough. In the text it states Some enslaved people worked in the house, cleaning,
cooking, doing laundry, sewing, and serving meals. They were called domestic slaves. Other
enslaved people were trained as blacksmiths, carpenters, shoemakers, or weavers. this that the
slaves did not only do farming but other thing as house cleaners and others. However the north
opposed slavery and they wanted to abolish it. So instead they would have factories because of
the soil and because of why they did not like slavery. Also the north made slavery illegal and it was
a good thing, but slavery did not really end until the civil war. In the text it states The demand for
cotton had grown steadily with the development of the textile industries of New England and
Europe. this shows that they did not have any slaves in the factories in the
