I am writing to express my strong interest in joining the tremendous work going on at CRID, a
renowned research institute in Cameroon, as an intern. As a graduate student in Molecular
Biology and Biochemistry from the University of Buea, and a present post graduate aspirant in
the field of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, I am eager to apply my knowledge while
gaining skills in a research setting
My research interest aligns with CRID’s focus on Malaria Research as well as Vector-Borne
Diseases and I am astonished by the institution’s commitment to improving public health by
combating infectious diseases while training the next generation of African scientists and
researchers, providing them a platform to engage in cutting-edge research.
With a strong academic background in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry, I am confident that
my skills and experiences fit this opportunity of being part of your program. Moreover, working
with CRID, I believe would provide me the perfect opportunity to gain hands-on experience,
exposure and skills in areas where my interest lies.
