Device.
2. Briefly explain any three input device?
Keyboard : The Keyboard is the standard data input and operator control device
of a computer.
Mouse : The mouse is used to point and select things on the monitor.
Digitizing Tablet : A digitizing tablet is a pointing device that facilitates the
accurate input of drawings and designs.
3. Sate the uses of Touch screen?
Touch screen is used to interact with the user by touching the screen.
4. Mention three forms of Touch Screen?
The three forms of touch screen are pressure - sensitive , capacitive surface and
light beam.

Printer is an output device which prints out information that is in the computer
onto paper. By printing you create what is known as the “Hardcopy”.
3. What is a plotter?
Plotters are used to produce graphs or diagrams.
4. Name some characteristics of computer.
Speed, Accuracy, Storage, Versatility, Diligence, Reliability, Memory capability.
5. List the advantages of computers?
 They can perform repetitive tasks
 They work at constant efficiency
 They are used in almost every field
 Instant recalling information is possible.

1. What is MS - Paint?
MS Paint is a simple tool for drawing pictures and applying different colors to the
pictures on the computer.
2. State the steps to open MS Paint?
Click start button Choose All Program Choose Accessories Click
paint icon.
3. Name the components of the paint window?
Title Bar, QAT, Paint button, control Button, Scroll Bars, Ribbon, status bar, Drawing
area.
4. Define the following:
Title Bar : The bar along the top of the window that contains the name of that
window is called the Title Bar.
Ribbon : The Ribbon has a toolbars with two tabs by default home tab and view
tab.
5. State the purpose of Tools in MS -Paint?
MS Paint provides many tools to draw, paint and spray colors with the help of the
tools present in the Ribbon.
6. What is the use of the Drawing Area?
It is used to draw pictures.
7. What is a Scroll Bar?
Scroll Bar is an area on the window that allows the user to view different portions
of a windows information by scrolling or moving.
