Course: Movement Competency Training Semester: 1st School Year: 2025-2026

Course Description
This course reintroduces the fundamental movement patterns consisting of both non-locomotor and
locomotor skills, integrated with core training exercises and activities designed to meet the demands
of functional fitness and sports performance. It also incorporates fitness concepts, exercise principles,
and healthy eating habits.
Students will develop the ability to adapt and apply movement competencies in various concepts.
Additionally, the course explores opportunities for maintaining physical activity and includes strategies
to reduce sedentary behavior, especially during extended periods at home.
Ultimately, the course aims to mitigate the negative effects of a sedentary lifestyle and to encourage
students to embrace every opportunity to stay physically and mentally active, regardless of their
circumstances.
