1. Introduction
It is needed as learning through conditioning, as the cause of
a means by which a change in behavior is verified through practice or
the association of events or stimuli.
It is the ability to educate oneself; this helps every individual adapt to.
the changes in the environment and the dogma of the signals from the external world.
Likewise, it differentiates the importance between the learning models of
classical conditioning and operant conditioning.
Conditioning is a type of mental process that involves association.
from a stimulus to a specific response. It is a phenomenon discovered by
psychology, particularly by the Russian physiologist Ivan Pavlov based on a
a series of experiments with animals. Basically, it establishes that there are
associations between a physiological response to a certain stimulus that
they can be triggered by another if it associates with the first.
Conditioning can be distinguished between classical conditioning and
operational, which will be discussed for each one, providing definitions, the authors of
These conditions and what experiments were carried out.
2. Development
2.1. Classical conditioning.
2.1.1. Author of Classical Conditioning.
The classical conditioning that up to this day carries that
name, it was thanks to the experiments with dogs by Ivan Pavlov,
a Russian physiologist. Currently, Pavlov's findings are studied.
in psychology universities, because it is one of the
more introductory topics, apart from being one of the principles
basics of learning (Corbin, 2017, paras. 1-2).
2.1.2. Definition of Classical Conditioning.
It is a process through an unconditioned stimulus, which
exerts known effects, is associated with a neutral stimulus, so that
that stimulus produces effects similar to the conditioned stimulus.
However, in recent years a new has been confirmed.
Pavlovian approach, which consists of learning of
associations between events, this allows the individual
anticipate and represent the external environment (France, 2021, par. 3-
4).

García, J. (September 30, 2018). In his early investigations,
Pavlov had observed that, after putting food in the mouth of the
dog, it started to secrete saliva originating from certain
glands, this phenomenon was named "salivation reflex."
By conducting the experiment repeatedly, he observed that his
presence (Pavlov) caused the dog to start to secrete
saliva without the food being present, as he had learned that each
whenever Pavlov presented himself in the laboratory, he was going to receive
food. Then, to be able to know if he was right, he put a
separator between the dog and the food, this way the dog does not

Later on, Pavlov begins to apply different stimuli.
(auditory and visual) that were then neutral, just before
serve the food to the dog. Their effects showed that, after
various applications, the dog related the stimuli (now
conditioned stimuli) with food. Pavlov called it "reflex
conditioned" to the salivation that was caused after this association.

Plazas, A. (June 28, 2006). Burrhus Frederick Skinner was born
in Susquehanna (Pennsylvania, USA) in 1904. In 1931, he received the
PhD in psychology from Harvard University. He was a teacher.

also in 1971 he received the Gold Medal from the Foundation
American Psychological Association as a recognition of its
scientific elaborations. It is considered as such one of
the leading psychologists of all time and the greatest one
exponent of operant conditioning.

(Luna, 2022). It is a learning method that occurs when

conduct or pattern of behavior, and is based on an assumption
the action tends to be repeated after reinforcement, that is
