REPORT: HAMLET

It is a work written by the English playwright William Shakespeare.


between the years 1599 and 1601.

The story takes place in the Kingdom of Denmark, during the Middle Ages.
Media with the reign of Hamlet, recently deceased due to
a supposed snake bite. According to reports, the reptile attacked
the man while he was taking a nap in his garden, that's why not
wounds or signs of his death were found.

Shortly thereafter, Gertrudis, the widow, marries her


brother-in-law Claudio, brother of the deceased king and now proclaimed king

ACT 1

The play begins in Elsinore Palace, at night, where


guarding the entrance are Bernardo, Francisco and then
Horacio and Marcelo. They have observed a figure similar to
a ghost appearing in the royal grounds, which upon approaching them
they notice the shadow of the deceased king Hamlet, dressed in armor like
announcing conflicts and changes in the reign. Horatio tries
to communicate, to talk to him, but he gets no answers and the figure behind
