A. INTRODUCTION:
1. How I came up with my belief to join the Virtual Merchant Marine Regimental Program
(MMRP)?
I came to believe in joining the virtual Marine Regimental Program so that I could have
more experience and training which I think can prepare me for my future work as a seafarer. It
also makes me join the MMRP 1 to become more productive during my vacation and to work
myself out to become physically fit and mentally prepared for the next training. Hence, the
Subjects that are listed on the MMRP 1 motivate me to join because there are some subjects that
I am not doing well. First is the Values Development, which for me will make me benefit when it
comes to giving values to everything and every action that I make. In short, I think it will make me
a better individual. Second is the Celestial Navigation, which is very hard for me to learn during
the past school year due to limited resources, time and laboratory. Third is the Physical Fitness,
because I am not very active in exercise and I think this course will help me develop my Physical
fitness. Lastly, it is because the MMRP 1 is one of the required subjects that I needed to pass.
for me to enroll on the next level.
Academic Enhancement:
1.1 – Collision Regulations & Celestial Navigation Computation for BSMT Students
Auxiliary Machineries for BSMarE Students
2. Non-Academic Enhancement:
2.1 Seafarers Life Familiarization -n/a
2.2 Physical Fitness Training (PFT)-
The Physical Fitness Training really gives me the ability to perform well and
become more physically fit. It literally trained my body to its full potential, giving me an
advantage in terms of building up my stamina and strength. The training that I encounter is
more like a Leadership and discipline exercise training. Following orders from the
appointed one and executing it accordingly as demonstrated. Which makes me an
obedient member and leader. This Physical Fitness Training also improves my daily living,
giving me more energy and burning fats on my body. Overall, the Physical Fitness training
is a very excellent and amazing experience. Given that the instructor is also an amazing
and respectable leader.
C. WHICH OF THE ABOVE TRAINING COMPONENTS DO YOU LIKE MOST AND WHY?
The Physical Fitness Training, because it not only gives me a positive habitual exercise.
everyday, but also gives me the opportunity to be disciplined while having a genuine
camaraderie with my fellow cadets during the training. It boosts my confidence as I command
to them on doing exercise with the given instructions given by our instructor. I also gained a lot of
experience such as stating commands and following the commands strictly. I engaged with a lot
of cadets which I think makes us unite as one. Hence, making us more solid and at the same
time disciplined with one principle. It also gives me a lot of strength and stamina when it comes to
exercise due to its hard yet beneficial type of exercise which composes of; neck flexion, head
extension, neck rotation, shoulder rotation, big rotation/ small rotation, shoulder shrug, side arm
pull, hips rotation, front/side/back knee pull, knee rotation, ankle rotation, and heels raise on
warm up and also consists of extreme exercise in two categories which consist of high
jumper, squat bender, stationary jogging, bend and reach, push up, Knee Bender, Trunk Twister,
Turn and Bounce, Mountain Climbing, and Squat Thrust which makes me more physically fit and
disciplined.
D. WHICH OF THE ABOVE TRAINING COMPONENTS DID YOU LIKE THE LEAST?
WHY?
also believe that it needs attention because I can’t clearly see the discipline with this subject that
I've been expecting this before enrollment. It also has the riskiest time on MMRP given that it only
has limited time, yet the time given to it is day 1 and day 2 which I think is not okay because
Some students who have problems enrolling may have missed this class and must take the final.
assessment even though they didn’t meet the professor in this subject.

MMRP, or the Merged Memory Reconstruction Process, is an innovative approach in cognitive neuroscience aimed at understanding how memories are formed, integrated, and retrieved in the human brain. The process highlights the dynamic and adaptive nature of memory, showing that memories are not static but are constantly being re-evaluated and reshaped through new experiences and information. MMRP emphasizes the interconnectedness of various memory systems, shedding light on how episodic, semantic, and procedural memories work together to create a coherent narrative of our experiences. This understanding is pivotal for developing strategies to enhance memory retention and retrieval, which can have significant implications for education, therapy, and cognitive rehabilitation. Furthermore, MMRP provides insights into memory disorders, paving the way for targeted interventions that could help individuals with conditions such as Alzheimer's disease or PTSD. By exploring the complexities of memory reconstruction, MMRP not only contributes to theoretical frameworks in psychology but also has practical applications in improving mental health and cognitive functioning. The continued research into MMRP promises to unveil deeper insights into the mechanics of memory and offers hope for innovative treatments for memory-related disorders.
