During our NLC Collaborative
Expertise last Friday, July 12, 2024,
Learning Camp Volunteers (NLC
teachers) shared that some learners
are getting bored and stressed-out in
answering their modules (touch-

works all the time).
Out of that challenge, bright ideas
came up and one significant step we
made is to adopt HDA (Holistic
Developmental Approach) in teaching
NLC lessons. This week, we now see
our learners happier and become
excited to attend NLC classes every
day.
Learning is indeed fun when all
aspects of a child's needs are
addressed, not just mental
development. We also ensure that
their outdoor activities are indeed
enjoyable, making them so happy. By
doing so their brain became excited
to learn new things.
In short, we just do not teach them,
but we love them.
