I am writing to formally request an extension of my medical leave. As you are aware, I had
recently undergone surgery and was initially granted 10 days of medical leave. However, after a
post-operative consultation, my doctor has advised me to take extended bed rest for a complete
and safe recovery. Based on the medical advice, I will need an additional one-month leave,
starting from May 5, 2025, until June 5, 2025.

I understand the importance of my responsibilities at the workplace, and I assure you that this
extension is only due to medical necessity. I have attached the updated medical certificate for
your records and verification. During this time, I will make every effort to stay in touch and assist
remotely, if required and feasible.

I truly appreciate your understanding, patience, and support during this time of recovery.
