Job Overview
We are an innovative SaaS and AI product company building intelligent, scalable solutions to real-world
problems. As a Senior Backend Developer, you will lead backend architecture, API design, and system
integrations across the full product lifecycle. You'll write clean, reusable code, help standardize
development practices and bring experience in AI-driven products using PHP Laravel and/or Node.js
stacks.

Main Duties & Responsibilities


Develop and Maintain APIs using Node.js and Laravel to support front-end/back-end
1
integration.
Architect Scalable Backend Solutions with a focus on performance, security, and
2
maintainability.
Design and Optimize Databases, including relational (RDBMS) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB,
3
DynamoDB).
4 Implement Serverless Architecture for microservices to reduce infrastructure complexity.
Integrate AI Technologies, including LangChain and related frameworks, into backend
5
systems.
Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams to gather requirements and deliver technical
6
solutions.
7 Perform Testing, Debugging, and Troubleshooting to ensure system reliability.
8 Review Code and Mentor Developers to maintain quality and share best practices.
Document Software and Write Specifications to ensure maintainability and future
9
usability.
10 Ensure Performance, Scalability, and Security through best development practices.
11 Adopt Agile Methodologies for iterative development and continuous improvement.
12 Contribute to Product Roadmap by participating in design and strategic discussions.

Job Requirements
Academic
Bachelor’s in computer engineering, Software Engineer, or related field.
Qualifications
At least 5 years of backend development experience, with a focus on Node.js
Experiences
and Laravel.
Languages Skills Fluent English and Arabic (oral and written).
• Solid hands-on experience with either PHP Laravel and/or Node.js (having
both is a big plus).
• Experience working on AI or machine learning product-based projects in
startups.
• Strong understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL,
PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, with experience using modern frontend
frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, React).
Skills, Abilities, & • Solid knowledge of REST APIs and experience with third-party API
Knowledges integrations.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP
preferred).
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Experience in SaaS product development.
• Exposure to deploying or integrating AI/ML models in production
environments.
• Understanding of DevOps, microservices, or event-driven architectures.
• Experience with performance optimization and scalability strategies.
