Since August 2005, the Human Resources Development Service of Korea has implemented the Employment Permit System-Test
of proficiency in Korean (EPS-TOPIK) in order to provide fair and transparent employment procedures to foreign employees and
promote their early adaptation to the Korean life.
Eligibility: Who can apply?
if you are aged between 18 and 39
if you have no criminal record in relation to a serious offense punishable by imprisonment
· if you have no experience of deportation from the Republic of Korea
if you have no restriction by immigration
Evaluation Criteria
Basic communication skills required in everyday life in Korea
Basic understanding of the Korean culture
Pass Criteria
Among the candidates who scored over 80 points (out of
200), a designated number of candidates will pass in order of highest scores.
ETS-TOPIK scores are valid for 2 years from the announcement date of the test
result.
