Chairperson [Ella]: The first item of business is the motion relating to the Tree Planting
Project that was pending when the previous meeting was adjourned. Is there any

Jonna: I move that we coordinate with the barangay to secure 50 seedlings.

Nhelgrace: I second the motion.
Chairperson [Ella]: It has been moved and seconded that we coordinate with the
barangay to secure 50 seedlings. Is there any discussion?

Jesseca: I am in favor of this motion. The barangay likely has access to local nurseries
or environmental offices that can provide the seedlings at little or no cost. It’s a practical
and cost-effective move.

Queen Heart: The support of the barangay will be valuable for both resources and
manpower.

Jhon Hope: Since the Fiesta of our barangay is on June 10‚ 2025. I move that we
organize a Summer Youth Festival.

Lenie: I second the motion.
Chairperson [Ella]: It has been moved and seconded that we organize a Summer
Youth Festival. Is there any discussion on the motion?

Nhelgrace: I suggest we include a basketball tournament as one of the main activities.
It’s very popular among the youth and encourages teamwork and physical fitness.

Mae: I also propose holding a Mr. and Miss Summer Icons pageant. It would be a fun
way to showcase talent and confidence among our young people.
Chairperson (Ella): Those are excellent suggestions.

Myca: I move to amend the motion to add the words “from June 5‚ 2025 to June 10,
2025.”

Eva: I second the motion.

Eva: Since it is possible that after the Fiesta‚ there will be a lot of trash scattered in the
streets. I move that we conduct Clean-up Drive from June 12 to June 13‚ 2025.
Jhon Hope: I second the motion.
Chairperson [Ella]: It has been moved and seconded that we conduct a Clean-up
Drive from June 12‚ 2025 to June 13‚ 2025. Is there any discussion on the motion?

Queen Heart: I fully agree with the motion. A clean-up drive after the Fiesta is important
for our community.

Lenie: I am in favor of this motion. It is only right that we clean up after the celebration.

Myca: I would urge the members to vote against this motion because I am so busy. I
just don’t have the time to donate a day of free work, and I doubt that many of you do
either.

Nhelgrace: I’m against the motion because not everyone has the time or resources to
join. Many of us have school or other duties, and this might not be practical for all
members.
