I started swimming at the age of 7 with a club named Desert Cubs.

This was a
small private club in Sharjah with I attended and went for small sized inter-club
competitions with. Then by the age of 9 I changed clubs to Cleopatra Swimming
academy. With this club, I attended higher level competitions, such as C Level
competitions, while improving my times. Then at the age of 10 I switched clubs
again to a club named ANSA (Aqua Nations Swimming Academy). Here I trained
under the former Indian National coach, Pradeep Kumar. In this club, I managed
to snag may top place awards at multiple events across the UAE putting myself
in the top 10 in my age group across the country. I transferred back to Cleopatra
in early 2021, Where I started to garner attention of both the Sri Lankan national
team, and UAE clubs. Here I started to get top places in both national and
international events. In Late 2023 at 14 years of age, I was offered a contract at
Al Bateah cultural and sports club as a swimmer which I accepted. Since then, I
have participated in multiple international competitions, MENA region
competitions and Inter Emirate competitions which classify as both A and B level
competitions. I have placed top 30 in my events, throughout the MENA region,
and through International events I have placed top 50, while placing in the top 5
for Nation-wide Competitions. I have also been considered for the Sri Lankan
national swimming team, through events which i have placed highly in with
multiple medals. I have won quite a few best swimmer awards as well as many
medals.
