RESOLUTION APPROVING THE HISTORY OF BARANGAY MARAGONDONG,
LA LIBERTAD, NEGROS ORIENTAL
WHEREAS, the College of Arts and Sciences, Social Science Department of Negros
Oriental State University-Guihulngan Campus, conducted a Training/Seminar for an
Extension Program entitled “Rural Development Lecture and Training for Barangay Officials
of Barangay Maragondong, La Libertad, Negros Oriental";
WHEREAS, Eden Grace Villafuerte Tabanao, Ph.D., served as the Project Leader of the
Extension Program, with Mr. Philner P. Salindo and Ms. June Keziah B. Salindo as lecturers,
who provided significant guidance in the creation of the Barangay History;
WHEREAS, the Barangay Officials of Barangay Maragondong, played a pivotal role in the
research, documentation, and creation of the Barangay History of Barangay Maragondong,
La Libertad, Negros Oriental;
WHEREAS, the Barangay Council of Barangay Maragondong has finalized and approved
the Barangay History, acknowledging the importance of preserving local history as a tool for
cultural preservation, fostering community identity, and enhancing historical awareness
among future generations;
NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Hon. Roditha L. Lobrido, duly seconded by Hon.
Leofer T. Andoy, it was resolved as it is hereby:

residents of Barangay Malusay, we would like to express our sincere appreciation for your continued
support and dedication to the welfare of our community.
We are writing to formally request your assistance and coordination regarding several ongoing and
upcoming community development initiatives in our barangay. These include:
1. Improvement of Barangay Roads and Drainage Systems– Due to the recent heavy rains, several areas
have experienced flooding and road damage. We seek your support in mobilizing resources for repair and
improvement.
2. Livelihood and Skills Training Programs – We aim to empower our residents, especially the youth and
unemployed, through sustainable livelihood training. We hope to partner with your office for funding and
technical support.
3. Health and Sanitation Campaigns – With the rise in dengue and other health concerns, we plan to launch
a barangay-wide health awareness drive and cleanup operations. We believe that with your leadership and
the collaborative efforts of our local government units, we can achieve meaningful progress for our
constituents. We would be honored to meet with you or your designated representative at your earliest

Halangdong Mayor,
Maayong adlaw ug mainitong pangumusta gikan sa Barangay Malusay!
Nagalaum kami nga anaa ka sa maayong kahimtang ug lig-on nga panglawas. Sa ngalan sa Barangay
Council ug sa tanang residente sa Barangay Malusay, mapasalamaton kami sa imong padayon nga suporta
ug pag-alagad alang sa kaayohan sa among komunidad.
Pinaagi niini nga sulat, gusto namo ipahibalo ug pormal nga mangayo og tabang ug koordinasyon gikan sa
imong buhatan kabahin sa pipila ka mga proyekto ug inisyatibo nga among giandam alang sa kalambuan
sa among barangay. Lakip niini ang mosunod
1. Pagpaayo sa mga Dalan ug Drainage System sa Barangay – Tungod sa bag-ong mga uwan, daghang
lugar ang nabaha ug nadaut ang mga dalan. Nangayo kami og tabang alang sa pag-ayo ug pagpalambo
niini.
2. Mga Programa sa Panginabuhian ug Pagsanay sa mga Kahanas – Gitinguha namo nga matabangan ang
mga kabatan-onan ug walay trabaho pinaagi sa mga training alang sa panginabuhian. Nangayo kami og
suporta sa pondo ug teknikal nga tabang.
3. Kampanya sa Panglawas ug Kalimpyo – Tungod sa pagsaka sa kaso sa dengue ug uban pang balatian,
maglunsad kami og kampanya sa kahimsog ug limpyo sa barangay.
Nagtuo kami nga pinaagi sa imong liderato ug panaghiusa sa lokal nga kagamhanan, makab-ot nato ang
tinuod nga kalambuan alang sa among mga katawhan. ako ang among kalipay kung makigkita kami
kanimo o sa imong representante aron hisgutan pa kini nga mga butang sa mas lawom nga paagi.
