STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

The mesmerizing world of technology, where humans interact with machines like compliant
genies, held me captive. The hidden language that bestowed life upon lifeless objects enchanted
me. Yet, my true ardor for computer science kindled when I embarked on the realm of computer
gaming. The enchantment of gaming on a computer seemed nothing short of enchantment. I
contemplated the sorcery behind it, the craft of infusing existence into virtual realms. This
marked the genesis of my odyssey – a relentless pursuit driven by unyielding curiosity and an
insatiable hunger for knowledge in computer science. With time, my fascination deepened,
compelling me to delve into the inner mechanics of computers and software. It's more than just
utilizing these tools; it's about deciphering the intricate alchemy concealed behind the screen –
the labyrinthine codes and algorithms that breathe life into applications and games. As I delved
deeper, I uncovered that computer science is not just a subject of study; it's an art, a science,
and an entryway to limitless potential. As I took my initial strides to demystify these
technologies, I felt a surge of confidence and faith in my capacity to excel in this domain. This
initial foray into coding planted the seeds of my aspiration to dive deeper into the universe of
computer science and software development, ultimately leading to my choice to pursue a
master's in information technology and management.
My foray into coding began during my 11th grade where I was introduced to creating web
applications, a pivotal moment that stoked my passion for software development. The major
transition took place during my undergrad journey at JSS Science and Technology University,
while exploring the facets of computer science and engineering. Through my coursework, I
delved into subjects like big data analytics, data structures and algorithms, object-oriented
programming, software engineering, project management, database management systems, and
SQL. Among these, the subject that truly resonated with me and ignited my curiosity was big
data analytics. Exploring big data analytics introduced me to the captivating world of data,
sparking a deep fascination and igniting a passion for insightful analysis in the IT industry. This
field not only piqued my interest but also brought me immense satisfaction and happiness
through working with data.
During my four years of academic endeavors, I undertook several projects that spanned across
various domains of CS. One project that stood out was my final year project, the Diabetes
Detection and Time Prediction System. This project allowed me to immerse myself in machine
learning and data analysis, exploring algorithms like Random Forest, Decision Trees, KNN,
and Naive Bayes. We aimed to identify the most efficient algorithm in terms of time complexity
while maintaining result accuracy, assessing an individual's diabetes risk based on various
parameters and predicting future diabetes onset. This multifaceted project was a web-based
application, employing HTML and CSS for the frontend and C# for the backend. Working on
this project was a rewarding experience, as it merged my passion for technology, data analysis,
and problem-solving. It not only provided me with a profound understanding of machine
learning but also reinforced my belief in the potential of technology to make a positive impact

Beyond my college curriculum, I've undertaken technology-focused certification courses in
full-stack web development, data analytics , DBMS, SQL, Python, OOPS, and DSA. These
certifications have deepened my knowledge and provided hands-on experience, enhancing my
technical skills and instilling confidence. I intend to apply these valuable skills in my academic
and professional pursuits, making meaningful contributions to the field of technology.
Extracurricular activities have been instrumental in my holistic growth, particularly through
participation in modeling competitions. These experiences honed critical skills such as
communication, empathy, and teamwork while sharpening time management and focus—
essential for data analysis and life's challenges. My commitment to social service shines
through my work with NGOs, which deepened my empathy and dedication to societal
betterment. I've also taken an active role in organizing inspirational events, fostering student
motivation, and demonstrating strong leadership and organizational acumen. Moreover,
beyond my unwavering computer science passion, my family business background has
equipped me with practical business insights and an entrepreneurial mindset. This blend of both
business as well as analytics empowers me to use data for well-informed, strategic decision-
making that fuels business success. These experiences have shaped me into a resilient
individual.

wholeheartedly dedicated to advancing my education, broadening my knowledge, and
exploring the realm of Information technology and management. These aspects are pivotal for
