COC 2 Set up Computer Network
Request for the IP address.
We need the network cable. Make sure to make two network cable
that we'll use for the switches to start the COC 2.
1. Designate the IP address to the components. Give router the IP address
followed by the access point, server, desktop, lastly is the laptop. Then
start configuration. First, use the router. Use the following IP address:
Router: 192. 168.100.11; AP: 192. 168.100.12; SERVER: 192.
168.100.13; DESKTOP: 192. 168.100.14; LAPTOP: 192. 168. 100.15
1.1 Reset the router. Connect the wire to the panel. Press reset. The
process should be in 10 to 15 seconds.
1.2 Use desktop. Go to Google chrome or any available web browser. Type
192.168.1.1 to the web browser. The username must appear otherwise, the
default ID is wrong or the reset was not done properly.
1.3 Type username and password: admin. Click "next", then "Interface
setup", "wireless" to find the information about the router.
1.4 Go to SSID. SSID received the phone, laptop. Replace the name with
"ECST ROUTER"
1.5 Go to Pre-Shared Key: P@ssw0rd.
1.6 Go to LAN. Make sure to disable the DHCP (Dynamic Control host
Protocol). Then, change the IP address to your assigned IP
(192.168.100.11). Click “save”. Once saved, remove the connector or wire
from the patch panel since the desktop and router have now different IP.

2. ACCESS POINT CONFIGURATION. Connect the access point to the
patch panel. Same process, reset. You can use a pen to press the reset
part to the small hole. Wait for 15 seconds.
2.1 Go to internet explorer word (any web browser). Type “dinkap” to the
browser. Cancel the “Wizard” so that the process won’t be long.
2.2 Go to “WIRELESS SETUP”. Change the name to “ECST WAP” of the
SSID. Click ‘personal” in the option.
2.3 Pre-Shared Key- P@ssw0rd. Then “save settings”.
2.4 Go to LAN SETUP
2.5 MY LAN Connection is: “Static IP”.
2.6 IP Address: 192.168.100.12
2.7 Gateway Address: 192.168.100.11
2.8 Primary DNS Server: 192.168.100.13
2.9 Save settings. Then removed the wire then connect to the switch
3. SERVER CONFIGURATION
3.1 Make sure the cable is connected to the switch.
3.2 Right click “properties”
3.3 click “change adapter settings”. Click “Ethernet”, then “Properties”.
3.3.1 Click “Internet Protocol Version 4”
3.3.2 Click properties. Type 192.168.100.13 in the IP address.
Numbers will automatically appear in the Subnet mask.
3.3.3 Default gateway: 192.168.100.11
3.3.4 Server Type: 192.168.100.13. Click OK the close
3.4 click change advanced sharing settings. Just turn on network discovery
and file and printer sharing. Turn on everything except the last part which
the PASSWORD- click off. Save changes.

3.5 Click turn Windows defender Firewall on or off. Click Turn off beside the
mark “X”
4. DESKTOP CONFIGURATION
4.1 Right click- properties
4.2 Change adapter settings. Click Ethernet then properties
4.3 Click Version 4. Use the ff. IP Address: 192.168.100.14; Default
gateway: 192.168.100.11. Server: 192.168.100.13. OK, the CLOSE
4.4 Click Change advanced sharing settings. Click 3 On, 1 OFF
(password). Save Changes
4.5 Go to “Turn Windows Defender Firewall on or off”. Click off. OK.
5. LAPTOP CONFIGURATION
5.1 Go to WIFI and find the access point. Once found, click check and
connect
5.2 Type password: P@ssw0rd
5.3 Click right the properties
5.4 Click Change Adapter setting. Then, click right of Wireless Network
Connection then properties.
5.5 Go to Version 4. IP Address: 192.168.100.15; Default gateway:
192.168.100.11. Server: 192.168.100.13. OK, the CLOSE
5.6 Click back once. Click Sharing. 3 ONs, 1 off (password). Save changes
5.7 Click Firewall. Make sure to off the firewall. CLOSE

6. PING TEST
6.1 Go to run. Type cmd
6.2. Black screen will appear and type “ipconfig”. IP config is to make sure
the IP is right
6.3 Type “ping 192.168.100.11 (router). ENTER. There should be a reply.
Ping 12 (access point) , 13 (laptop to server), 14 (laptop to desktop), and
15 (laptop).
6.4 PING the desktop and laptop with same process
