Culubun Primary School believes that the role of teacher in school as it is inevitably one
of the most crucial variable in affecting the learner learning: both quantifiable and qualitative
development of a child. It is high time, that the administration will revisit, orient and train
mentors to effectively implement and deliver the aforesaid role.
In this regard, we are asking permission from your good office to allow us conduct a
four-day School learning Action Cell (LAC) from November 5, 12,19,26, 2021. Attached
herewith are the project proposal and LAC design / matrix for your approval. Hoping for your

IV- RATIONALE & OBJECTIVES
Deped Order No. 30, s. 2020 and Memorandum OUCI-2020-307 school calendar of
activities includes school Learning Action Cell for teachers as one of its annul Activities.
Teachers play a crucial role in improving the quality of the teaching and learning process. Due to
the COVID-19 pandemic, as Culubun Primary School prepares for school year 2021-2022,
teachers and parents must adapt the Interim Policy Guidelines for Assessment and Grading in the
light of the basic Education Learning Continuity Plan and the Guidelines on the use of the Most
Essential Learning Competencies (MELCS) through conducting LAC sessions to ensure that
learners achieve essential curricular goals. This will require creative and innovative ways of
designing optimal learning experiences and assessing learning progress effectively under adverse
circumstances.
OBJECTIVES:
This LAC sessions generally aims:
To capacitates the teachers of Culubun Primary School on how to use the new
Assessment and Grading
To demonstrates understanding on the use of the Most Essentail Learning
Competencies (MELCS)
