An Intervention Program

Rationale
After-school activities are essential to fostering students' academic success, socialization, and
individual growth. Studies have uniformly demonstrated that organized extracurricular activity boosts
students' motivation, self-esteem, and school success (Durlak et al., 2010). Nevertheless, a large
majority of students encounter difficulty in keeping themselves academically motivated, gaining leadership
competencies, and creating lasting peer relationships.
This has been planned to meet these needs through a balanced program that incorporates academic
assistance, leadership development, and social skills acquisition. This initiative is based on the belief that
learning goes beyond the classroom and that engagement in extracurricular activities develops critical
thinking, teamwork, and emotional strength. Through mentorship, interactive workshops, and project-
oriented learning, students will be able to enhance their academic abilities as well as develop crucial life
skills. Additionally, research has shown that students who participate in after-school programs have
enhanced academic achievement, better peer relationships, and increased self-esteem (Afalla, 2020).
This aims to provide a nurturing atmosphere where students can do well academically, build
leadership skills, and be confident in their capabilities. Through offering structured direction that addresses
students' developmental requirements, this program guarantees each participant the support needed to
excel in academic as well as social parts of their education.
Finally, it seeks to develop future-ready students who are not only academically capable but also
socially responsible and confident leaders within their communities.

Objectives:
These are the following objectives of this program:
a. Enhance students' academic performance and involvement;
b. Enhance leadership, teamwork, and communication skills;
c. Enhance peer bonding and social self-confidence; and
d. Promote time management and responsibility through extracurricular involvement.
