MANAGEMENT

OBJECTIVE
At the end of at the lesson, students should be able to:
1. Define Time Management.
2. State how to maximize time.
LESSON ONE
1.1 INTRODUCTION
Every purpose is for an appointed time, and every phase in
purpose is also for an appointed time. Luke 1:80 Correct
timing is very important to God’s program.
Time is an equal universal asset given to man. It’s whatwe
do with it that determines the fulfilment of purpose.
1.2 DEFINITION
Time: the measured or measurable period during which an
action, process or condition exists or continues, duration.
Management: art of planning, directing, organizing,
controlling, measuring and reporting. It is the ability to
maintain control over a given subject effectively and
efficiently.
Therefore, Time Management is the effective and efficient use
of measurable periods all through one’s lifetime. Eccl 3:1-19.

A. To handle our daily affairs wisely. Prov. 6: 6 – 8, 10:26.
B. To help us maximize our purpose and destiny. Eph. 5:14 – 16.
C. To deliver us from poverty. Prov. 6: 9 – 11.
D.The youthful season is the period of effective use of time in
labour and hard work. Lam 3:27.
LESSON TWO
2.1 SEASONS OF LIFE
1. Childhood stage (1-10 years).
At this stage, character is being built. It is advised that you
read thebible (God’s Word) daily. Learn scriptures by heart.
It is the season of training, instructing and discipline via
God’s
word.Proverbs 22:6
2. Teenage years (11-17 years).
It is very important that a close relationship with Jesus is
developed through constant reading of his word, praying in
the Holy Ghost and seeking godly counsel Pro15:22, Prov.
24:6. This would help us make godly decision.
3. Young Adult (18-25 years).
Personality is shaped and the foundation of
profession/careers defined. It is important that this season is
highly maximised. Lamentations 3:27.
4. Establishment stage (26-35 years).
At this stage of life you are seen as a responsible adult,
because youare seen as an income earner. It is the marital
season of life.
5. Maintenance stage (35-55)
Raising godly children and educating them. Building and
getting materials needed for the comfort of the family.
6. Flourish and Returns stage (55 and above)
This is the mature stage of life, whereby the rewards of the life
one haslived begins to yield either positively or otherwise.
2.2 HOW TO MANAGE TIME
1. You must know your purpose in life. Pro 27:18
2. Plan and prioritize- what, how, where, and when. Luke 14:28
3. Set attainable goals for each phase of life Phil 3:13-
14 and befocused. Pro 29:18
4. Self-discipline. Pro 8:33 MSG
5. Total dependability on the Holy Spirit. John 16:13
6. Constantly check and recheck to make sure you are
making progress not wasting time.
2.3 TIME ROBBERS
Procrastination, Proverbs 6:10.
Indecision. James 1:8
Chatting and Conversation. Ps 1:1-3
Regrets, Matthew 6:27, Isaiah 43:19.
Over indulgence- TV, internet-social networks, phones e.t.c.
Laziness. Pro 12:27, 19:15
2.4 CURE FOR TIME WASTAGE
1. Set your goals. Write them down. What you need to
achieve daily,termly or yearly. Pro 18:1

2. Organize your list by priority i.e. according to
importance. Eccl 3:1
3. Use a time planner. Eccl 3:1-2
4. Be focused and disciplined. Matthew 6:22
5. Think advancement and way forward and work things
out for better.Phil3:13-14, Is 43:19
6. Constantly check and re-check to make sure you are
making progress and not wasting time.
2.5 Cure for Time Lost
lost can never be replaced, it never repeats itself but God isfaithful
and able to restore what the enemy stole. Joel 2:25
2.6 CONCLUSION
When it comes to time, it is wise to follow God’s leading.
Never move ahead of God, or delay. Remember, we only
have one life to live. Don’t waste it

2.1 How to live a Sickness-free life
1. Be born again and remain so. John 3:3, Rom. 8:1-2
2. Be an ardent student of God’s Word: The breath
of God is what quickens, and healing virtue is transmitted
whenever God’s Word is being read in faith. Ps. 107:20,
Prov. 4:20-22,Heb.4:12
3. Serve God faithfully. Ex. 23:25-25, Job 36:1
4. Be joyful. Prov. 17:22
Living and maintaining a sickness-free life
1. Jesus, the great Physician gave us Biblical
mysteries for divine healing and also maintaining our
divine health. It isour faith in these mysteries that
delivers. They are:
- The Holy Communion. John 6:50-51, 53-58
- The anointing oil. Mark 6:13, James 5:14-15
- The mantle. Acts 19:11-12
- The blood of sprinkling. Heb. 13:20-21
- Feet washing. John 13:11-17
- Laying on of hands. James 5:14-15
2. Avoid sin. S.O.S. 2:15. For example:
- Unforgiveness. Mark 11:25-26
Job 3:25, Rom. 8:15
- Hatred. 1 John 3:14-15
- Bitterness of heart. Heb. 12:1
3. Wisdom for total health:
- Eat healthy foods not junks.
- Physical exercises. 1 Tim. 4:8
- Love God and the interest of HIS kingdom. Matt.
6:31- 33
2.3 Conclusion
Living a sickness-free life is our birth right in God,
BUT it is our responsibility to enforce it. Always be
conscious of your superiority over sickness and diseases,
and remember all God’s provisions that guarantees a
healthy life.
