This document presents numerous free applications for Android that allow auditing the security of networks and systems. Some of the most notable applications are Router Passwords, which provides default passwords for routers; Network Discovery, which scans a network and displays connected devices; Shark, a TCP/IP network sniffer; and WiFiAnalyzer, which analyzes WiFi networks and shows channels, encryption, and signal strength. The document concludes by stating that the list of applications can be expanded.

This is not a closed list (we will be expanding it), we are going to show some applications

free apps that turn your Android into a true road warrior for auditing it
security of all types of networks and systems.

The first thing you already know is that you need to have your Android rooted, most of these
applications require it. Android is practically a Linux, and therefore these
Low-level applications require root access to most system functions.

Let's go with this authentic Swiss army knife of Android security:

Router Passwords: more than an application, it is a database with all the information
(default login and passwords) for a multitude of routers from all brands.

Router Brute Force: if you don't want to bother looking at the dictionary in the app
before, you can try to figure it out (by brute force, using dictionaries) through this
program. If you already have access to a network, this tool is perfect for trying to access
to the router.

Terminal Emulator: necessary, always have a command line window at hand

(Linux shell) just in case something happens ;)

Wireless Tether: if you need to connect the computer to the Internet, this is the perfect application.
to do it from the mobile. Create a WiFi from which you can connect any
computer and have access to the web.

NetWork Discovery: I think it is the application that offers you the most information about a network.
It is able to scan a network and display a list of all devices connected to it.
the same with their respective IP and MAC addresses. But not only that, it also identifies it, if
it is a router, a PC, a printer, etc.

PulWifi: shows the default passwords of some WiFi access points. It supports the
of WLAN_XXXXX, JAZZTEL_XXXXX, YACOMXXXXX, WIFIXXXX, some models of D-Link and
from Huawei. Perfect for analyzing the security level of your WiFi.

1
Shark: network sniffer that works on 3G and Wifi. It is a port of the famous tcpdump. It allows you to
examine the TCP/IP packets that pass through your system.

ConnectBot: open-source Telnet/SSH client, also allows for SSH tunneling

(technique used to bypass firewalls or protect your information).

WifiAnalyzer: another tool to analyze a WiFi in depth. It shows the channels,

MAC, type of encryption and signal strength. Ideal for finding the perfect channel
to adjust our hardware.

ElectroDroid: when you need to take action at the hardware level, this application can
that suits you well. It is a reference library on Electronics, which includes code for
resistor color code, calculator for various electronic formulas, pinout of all
ports of a computer and video devices, tables of all kinds, etc. Essential.

WLANAudit: application to find WiFi networks and check their security. With some
points is capable of calculating the default password of the encryption used.

WiFi File Explorer: allows you to share files from your mobile device. In other words,
turn your mobile into a file server within the network.

Bluetooth File Transfer: search, explore, and manage files on any device
Bluetooth using FTP and OPP. We don't just live on WiFi's ;)

Hackers Dictionary: in case you forget any term, here is the famous Jargon File.

Working with BackTrack: from the installation of BackTrack to all kinds of information
about this Linux security distribution. Includes videos and documents of all kinds,
highly recommended.

Droidsheep: if you already know Firesheep, you know what this tool is about. As it is defined
on their website 'Session hijacking in a single click' or as I would say (tuxotron) 'Hijacking of

2
sessions at the click of a mouse finger :)

Faceniff: allows capturing web sessions over wifi. It works on networks

Open/WEP/WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK. It is similar to Droidsheep.

Router Keygen: like PullWifi, detects and generates the encryption keys (WEP and
WPA) by default of: Routers based on Thomson (Thomson, SpeedTouch, Orange,
Infinitum, BBox, DMax, BigPond, O2Wireless, Otenet, Cyta, TN_private), DLink (only
some models), Pirelli Discus, Eircom, Verizon FiOS (only some models), Alice AGPF,
FASTWEB Pirelli and Telsey, Huawei (some Infinitum), Wlan_XXXX or Jazztel_XXXX
(Comtrend and Zyxel), Wlan_XX (some models), Ono (P1XXXXXX0000X), WlanXXXXXX
YacomXXXXXX and WifiXXXXXX (also known as wlan4xx), Sky V1, Clubinternet.box
v1 and v2 (TECOM), InfostradaWifi

Fing - Network Tools: a tool that provides us with functionalities to extract all kinds of
información de un red: network discovery, escaneo de servicios, ping, traceroute, DNS
lookup, etc. Very complete.

Shark Reader: pcap file reader. Apparently, it has issues with large files.
but it could be very helpful for a quick glance after having captured
network traffic.

Arpspoof: an almost indispensable utility for capturing network traffic that is not directed to
we using what is known as arp spoofing. I say almost indispensable, because that
we can achieve the same with tcpdump.

tcpdump: we didn't have this one on the list and what can be said about this one. Tcpdump is the
de facto tool of any *nix machine, to analyze network traffic and by
consequently capturing it. This version for Android does not have the power that a system
*nix, but it offers us the basic functionalities, including packet capture.

Anti: Android Network Toolkit is a set of utilities that allows us to exploit

services on a local network. It's a kind of mini metasploit for Android. The problem is
that has several versions and with what the free version offers you can do with the rest of

3
tools listed here, but if you are a cybersecurity professional, this
it would be a great addition to your toolbox.

Routerpwn: collection of vulnerabilities for the most well-known routers and devices
embedded.

dsploit: a distribution for pentesting.

Intercepter-ng: a complete tool kit where you can find network sniffer,
recovery of files, passwords, etc.

Well, I suppose this list can be expanded; we look forward to your contributions.

Of course, CyberHades is not responsible for the misuse of all these applications.
Come on, we're already grown-ups ;)
