It can be defined that without culture there is no sustainable development, as it is part of

SUMMARY
What is the relationship between development and culture, economy, environment, and gender?
In Colombia, development, both local, regional, and national, is a gear in which
the economy, the environment, culture, and human capital intervene, fostering a balance
in each of the aspects.
As for the national economy, we see a ministry of agriculture,
generating changes in the country's rural development policies, where it involves
peasant, developing land restitution activities, implementing programs such as
Sowing Plan, which is expected to help more than one hundred thousand farming families, fighting
against rural poverty and ensuring peasant food security.
At the local level, the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism is involved, with the purpose
to promote local development and implement programs with capital allocations, invested in
modernization and development issues, and the strengthening of information technologies and
communication. With the help of the Opportunities Banking project, it is expected to implement plans for
increase in income and savings and investment tools (social savings fund, loans and
routine savings) that contribute to the generation of permanent income, solidarity, trust and
strengthening of the economic muscle for community financial management.
To generate balance and equilibrium in a society, it is important to ask oneself the following
Questions: Is economic progress or technological development the same as quality of life?
The installation of a factory that could generate thousands of jobs for the families of a town, goes
to necessarily ensure the care of the environment in which they live and the quality of life of their children and
grandchildren to the future?
To respond, it is important to highlight the importance of devising a plan.
of development, which basically covers the economic sector, environment, security, and defense,
and also includes the participation of citizens.
Governments, businesses, and communities often encounter the
constant need to include in its development plan actions that allow in a way
projected, to carry out environmental care, creating units of
preservation involving the community for achieving goals, and integral development
reasonable of the municipality, region, or nation, increasing the quality of life values of the population.
The rational utilization of existing natural resources should
to be included as a main objective, defined in each government whether local, regional, or national,
thus addressing the impact of climate change that is affecting the population
worldwide, as a result of poor practices regarding the conservation of centers of
biodiversity and natural and cultural heritage for highly vulnerable local populations to
human activities and environmental and climate changes.
The environment and economic development are linked in the sense that the existing factors
In the environment, they have an impact on the economic development rate in a region. There is
determinant factors in economic development, such as the lack of investment by
entrepreneurs, which in many cases is due to the low security guarantee in investments because of
part of the governments, which means that their business will not thrive as it would with a
stable government, in this aspect we can relate development to the environment.
Gender equality is of utmost importance and has a significant impact on development.
It is of utmost importance to achieve decent work for men and women, in order to produce
social and institutional changes that produce sustainable development with equality and
growth.
This equality means equality of responsibilities, rights, and opportunities that
benefit all people regardless of whether they are men or women. It is evident that it is usually
perceiving that women are at a disadvantage compared to men in the workplace is why
gender equality promotion lies in providing more attention to the needs of the
women, without overlooking that both men and women should be free for their development without
limitations imposed by prejudices and gender roles, adopting an integrated approach.
CONCLUSIONS
The economy, culture, and the environment are no longer independent elements, but
simultaneously dependent, for the balance and sustainable development of a society.
An environmental culture is the way in which human beings relate to the
environment, and for this, it is necessary to generate a study of values, beliefs and
ecological behaviors, being elements that give meaning to behavior, focusing on a
education and ecological behaviors that promote the preservation of the environment in which we live,
what facilitates the generation of sustainable lifestyles.
It is important to establish environmental education that defends diversity.
