WELCOME:
With the celebration of this fifth Sunday of Lent, we begin the last week before Holy Week.
from this time of preparation and deep renewal of our lives, which should lead us to walk alongside Christ
carrying the cross, to die with Him and thus be able to rise with Him at Easter.
The Lord today, in the resurrection of Lazarus, announces to us our future resurrection, in which we also
our bodies will come back to life, participating in the life of Christ, that is, to live eternally. And thus, for the
believers, death is not thefthe end of life, but the passage to a life that lasts forever.
LITURGY OF THE WORD:
1st READING: (Ezekiel 37:12-14)
The return from exile is for the people of Israel to return to freedom, to return to life. The Prophet's vision announces
the return to Jerusalem and symbolizes the new life that Christ, the Messiah, brings.
RESPONSE PSALM:129, 1-5. 6c-8

2nd READING: (Romans 8:8-11)
The voice of the Apostle tells us that man is led by the Spirit of God and that he truly has life.

Father of mercy, favorably listen to our petitions and grant us that the healthy practices of the
Lent prepares the hearts of your children, so that, celebrating the paschal mystery with dignity, we may extend
everywhere the announcement of your salvation. We ask you this through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
PRESENTATION OF THE OFFERINGS:
In order for our offering to be what the Father wants, it is essential that we present Him a heart that longs for a
authentic conversion and thus receive the grace of resurrection.
At the end of the 'Washing of Hands' and when the celebrant returns to the center of the altar and before the next prayer,

DIALOGUE OF THE PREFACE:At the beginning of the Preface (before "The Lord be with you")
Jesus has told us: "whoever believes in me, though he may die, shall live forever," for this reason, today more than ever, let us raise
our thanksgiving to the Father.
COMMUNION:
The Lord has spoken to us about the life that lasts forever in the Glory of God, and now He wants to give us, with His Body
and His Blood, a preview of that glory, when we rise to thefend of times.

FAREWELL:
The Lord grants us one more week to prepare ourselves to live deeply the Holy Week, not the
let us not waste; let us prepare our hearts to receive the grace of salvation that He offers us.
Let us prepare to participate in such a way that the Lord Jesus, dead and resurrected, may reign fromfdefinitely in
our hearts, in our lives and in our things. Let us proceed orderly and silently towards the

Let us now listen, in the Holy Gospel, to the account of Jesus' entrance into Jerusalem. He is the Messiah, who
brings salvation, dying and rising for us. That is why He enters simply, because He does not come to
to dominate, He comes to serve.

The Church celebrates Palm Sunday today in the Passion of the Lord, which marks the beginning of this week that
we call it Holy, and in that God calls us to holinessfwe will end, purefrepenting of our sins and deepening
our communion with Him and with our brothers.

By faith we come to understand the incomprehensibility of the Passion of the Lord; it tells us that it was necessary for
