Calculation note for the reinforcement of the protection slab

1- characteristics of concrete and reinforcements

dosage 350 Cement/m3
fc28 = 25 MPa
ft28 = 2.10 MPa
σb = 14,17 MPa
σato the ELECTED 434.78 MPa
σaat the ELS 201.63 MPa

=
Weight of concrete /m 2.50 T/m3
2-geometric characteristics of the slab
Width 1.00 m
Length 1.90 m
Thickness 0.20 m
3-Base data
Specific weight of the earth: 2.00 T/m3
Natural slope angle: 30 °

4- Evaluation of costs:
4-1. Dead weight : 0.5 T/m²
4-2. Weight of the fill: h moy = 0.2 m
cp = y * h average = 0.4 T/m²
4-3. Rolling charge: Cr = 4.27 T/m²

The permanent load G = 0.9 T/m²

The operating load Q= 4.27 T/m²
5- Combination of actions
at the ELS qELS = G+Q = 5.17 T/m²
to the ELU qELU= 1.35 G + 1.5 Q = 7.62 T/m²

6-Calculation of solicitations
at the ELS MMAX= L²/8 *qELS = 2,333 Tm
to the ELECTED MMAX= L²/8 *qELU = 3,439 Tm
7-Reinforcement calculation:

The calculation of the reinforcement at the SLS resulted in a reinforcement section of 8.25 cm²/m
The calculation of reinforcement at the ultimate limit state has provided a reinforcement section of. 4.96 cm²/m

8-Reinforcement adopted:

The reinforcement will be done according to the section calculated at the SLS since it presents the most unfavorable case.

The reinforcement adopted is:

Lower tablecloth

For the longitudinal reinforcements T14 with a spacing of 15 cm

For the transverse reinforcements T10 with a spacing of 25cm
Upper cloth
For the longitudinal reinforcements T10 with a spacing of 15 cm
For the transverse reinforcements T10 with a spacing of 25cm
