SUBJECT: Report of shooting Incident Involving Victim Rolly D. Santos

1.Reference: Police Blotter entry No. CCPS 2015-005
2. Please be informed that a shooting incident transpired at about 7:30 Am on March
27,2016, personnel from this station conducted a follow-up operation along the National
Highway in Barangay Paitan, Calamba City. The operation stemmed from a robbery
incident reported the previous day, March 26, 2016,at around 5:30 PM, which took place
at 32 Mabini Street, Población 1, Calamba City after robbing the victim at gun point.
3.Based on the Initial investigation the suspect shot the victim with unknown caliber,
robbed his bag and fled immediately using a motorcycle heading towards Calamba City
exit to Batangas Province. The suspect was identified as Roger G. Ganal.32 years old
male Married, Jobless and a resident of 32 Mabini Street, Población, Tanauan City. The
victim was rushed to a nearest hospital, JP Rizal Memorial Hospital for medical
treatment by a concerned citizen but was declared dead on arrival by the attending
physician.
4.The suspect Roger G. Ganal was apprehended on March 27,2015 around 6:30 AM
along the National Highway, Barangay Parian, Calamba City. Recovered from his
possession were a single motorcycle, a 20,000.00 stolen cash,1 belt bag containing one
unit of firearm, and a six fired cartridge cases.
5.The recovered Evidence has been submitted to the PNP crime laboratory for Ballistic
and Forensic Examination. The suspect was brought to Calamba CPS and is currently
under custodial investigation. Appropriate charges are being prepared for filling in court.
