Whereas, vide Circular No. 06-JK(Edu) of 2024 dated 19.09.2024, one
time exemption was granted to all those schools which are without a valid
affiliation, both for the earlier academic session 2023-24 (when they were tagged
with the ncarby government school) and academic session 2024-25, for non
conformity to provisions of S.O 177. Further, JKBOSE was directed to extend
all board related facilities viz; Registration Return (RR) forms, eligibility,
migration, andexamination to such schools for sessions 2023-24 and 2024-25, for
classes 9th to 12"; and
Whereas, vide Government Order No. 1703-JK (GAD) of 2024 dated
04.10.2024, a committee was constituted to examine the cases of Private Schools
which does not fulfill:: the conditions as laid down in S.0 177 and number of
representations were received and forwarded to the Committee for examining and
recommending the cases as per the mandate of the Committee. However, the
Commitee has not given its report in any of the cases forwarded to it; and
Whereas, Director, School Education, Jammu vide communication
No. DSEJ/Legal/37866 dated 22.07.2025 has proposed and recommended that:
i) To request the committee constituted vide G.O No. 1703-JK(GAD) of 2024
dated 04, 10.2024 to submit its reportrecommendation in the matter in a time
bound manner.
i) Till such report/recommendation is received, the exemption granted vide
Circutar No. 06-JK(Edu) of 2024 dated 19.09.2024, may kindly be extended for
ucademic session 2025-2026.
i) To grantupproval for confirmaton of pending result for ucademic session
2021-22 till 2025-26, If any, related to these private schools which comes under
the preview of S.O177 dated 15,04.2022, ð otherwise eligible and fulflls other
condittons,
WhereaB, Secretary, JKBOSE has referred the instant matter as
corresponding to the on-roll students of such schools for the current academic
session 2025-26 and has sought necessary instructions for further course of
actior, and

Whereas, the Committcc constitutcd vidc Government Order No. 1703
JK(GAD) of 2024 dated 04.10.2024 has not yct finalized/submitted its
report/recommendations. The mandate of the Comnmittee is to examine the
applications so reccived on case to case basis as per the extant ruls in UT of
Jammuand Kashmir; and
Whereas, in order to safcguard the interest of students studying in these
schools, as also provide further brcathing space to these schools to make efforts to
