The role of an IT analyst is to implement IT solutions, by managing advanced
activities for building key capabilities required by stakeholders and to
continuously improve the IT landscape and processes.
Responsibilities:
• Identifies and documents the business needs based on business
requirements analysis;
• Assess the feasibility of the implementation in the IT systems in
order to build a complete solution design and view, using several
documentation techniques and tools, in order that the stakeholders
understand and accept the solution;
• Defines, designs, builds and adapts the technical solutions in order to
validate the best approach with the project team to meet
stakeholders’ expectations, as well as by considering the costs and
timeline of the implementation;
• Maintains an active communication and collaboration with the
extended project team (Business and IT) through specific project
ceremonies, as well as informal meetings / discussions;
• In order to assure the project implementation, the analyst delivers IT
detailed activities plan, monitors the completion of the plan and
raises any risks in a timely manner, timeline evaluations;
• Ensures the technical quality of the internal deliverables or by
external providers in order to be in line with the technical
development standards, procedures and internal methodology and
agreed planification at project level;
• Supports the production deployment in accordance to the Change
Management procedure and ensure post-production support;
• Performs content testing of the data, after patch deployment and
process completion on the testing environment;
• Ensures continuous support for production incidents or
maintenance in order to keep the agreed SLA with the IT systems
business owners, based on priorities and importance;
• Identifies opportunities to improve business or processes through IT
applications in collaboration with other organizational units.
Requirements :
• 2-3 years experience in a similar position;
• Knowledge of DWH architecture concepts (data model, data
integration model, data reporting);
• Experience in implementing IT requirements;
• Experience in the area of data analysis, preparation of technical
specifications and FAT testing of the final solution;
• Good knowledge of SQL (medium level) is a must;
• Strong analytical skills;
• Proactive and problem-solving approach;
• Good time management skills and the ability to manage own
workload.
