[Advoay]

नमस्कार! Namaste! Sat Sri Akal! Vanakkam! Nomoshkar! Good Morning everyone!
Today, we welcome you with greetings from many languages of India—
Because every voice matters, and every language is a melody of its own.

[Both]
I Advoay and I Shravya, will be hosting today’s assembly.

[Shravya]
We, the students of Class 7B, proudly named Mississippi, are here to take you on a
meaningful journey this morning.

[Advoay]
Now I would like to call Sharvil and Swarali to share some information about the Mississippi
river.

[Sharvil]
Well, the Mississippi River isn’t just any river—it’s one of the longest, widest, and most
powerful rivers in the world, flowing through ten U.S. states, carrying cultures, history, and
life along its journey.

[Swarali]
It’s not just about water—it’s a symbol of connection.
The Mississippi accepts streams from different directions, merges them gracefully, and flows
forward with strength and unity.

[Sharvil]
That’s the spirit of our class too.
And today’s assembly is our humble attempt to reflect our unity.

Prayer

[Shravya]
Now, with grace in our hearts and peace on our minds,
Let’s join our hands, close our eyes gently,
And surrender to the silence within us,
As we begin the prayer.

Preamble

[Advoay]
As responsible, aware citizens of this democratic republic,
Let’s now stand proud and recite the Preamble after Saanvi.
([Preamble Recitation])
[Shravya]
Thank you, Saanvi.

Thought for the Day

[Advoay]
Now I call Ruturaj to inspire us with the Thought for the Day.
([Thought for the Day])
[__________]

[Shravya]
Thank you, Ruturaj.

Skit Introduction

Omkar
"Quick show of hands —
How many of you have ever judged someone just because their language or accent wasn’t
‘perfect’?"
(Pause for response)
"Now think again —
Was it their language that was lacking, or our patience?"

Aadhya
"Well, we’re not here to debate...
But we do want to show you something — a story, a situation, something real.
Let’s sit back and watch, with open minds and curious hearts."

🎬 Scene 1: The Classroom

Omkar
(Students are casually chatting.)

Rhea- Sanvi
"Omg Sahil, did you hear Aryan in the assembly today?
‘Goot morrrning!’ Like... that was straight-up cringe."

Sahil- Ishaan (laughs)

"‘Happpy to be hairrr!’ Bro thought he was at a Lakmé Salon."

Aadhya (Aryan enters hesitantly, holding his notebook.)

Aryan- Vivaan (softly to Zoya)
"Zoya… mala homevark kay hota sangshil ka?"

Rhea- Sanvi (mocking)

"It’s homework, not home-vark, Aryan!"

Aryan- Vivaan (embarrassed)

"Sorry…"

Zoya- Shriya (firmly, to Rhea and Sahil)

"Guys, chill. He's just asking a question — not applying for Shark Tank."

Sahil- Ishaan
"He always talks like this. This is an English medium school, not a regional FM station."

Omkar (Aryan looks down, says nothing, and quietly leaves.)

🎬 Scene 2: The Next Period- Aadhya

Teacher- Saachi
"Everyone, there’s a short speech competition coming up — theme is ‘Unfiltered Voices’ —
raw, real, and Gen-Z-friendly."

Omkar
(Few hands go up. Suddenly, Aryan raises his hand. Everyone’s shocked.)

Rhea- Sanvi (to Sahil)

"Wait, what?! Aryan’s giving a speech? In English?"

Sahil- Ishaan
"This will go viral if we record it. A new meme!!"

🎬 Scene 3: Speech Day

Aadhya (Aryan walks to the front. Nervous but composed. He breathes in deeply.)

Aryan- Vivaan
"Good morning, everyone.
I know I don’t speak perfect English.
You laughed. I remember.
And for a while... I stopped speaking.
Not because I didn’t have thoughts — but because I thought no one would listen.
But today… I want to try.
Not to prove you wrong… but to prove that I belong.
Now I speak — not with fear… but with hope.
Thank you."

Omkar (The class is silent. Zoya starts clapping. Slowly, the entire room joins.)

🎬 Scene 4: After the Speech- Aadhya

Rhea- Sanvi
"Aryan… I’m sorry. We judged you on your weakness.
Guess our ‘vocabulary and language’ lacked basic kindness."

Aryan- Vivaan
"Thank you. I’m still learning — but now I speak with courage… not fear."

Teacher
"That… is how real growth sounds.
Language was never meant to divide. It was meant to connect."

🎬 Scene 5: “Ten Years Later…”- Omkar

(Lights dim. Spotlight on narrator)

Aadhya
"Aryan — the boy once mocked for his language — is now a published author, a keynote
speaker, and a communication coach."

Omkar
"He mastered the very language he once feared —
The student who struggled with words… now uses them to change lives.
Not to impress the world — but to inspire it."

🎬 Final Scene: The Aryan No One Ever Imagined- Aadhya

(Spotlight on Aryan, now grown up, confident, in a blazer)

Aryan- Vivaan (powerful, professional, fluent)

"Good evening, everyone.
Years ago, I struggled to articulate even the simplest sentence.
Today, I stand here not just fluent, but empowered — because I chose resilience over
ridicule, and progress over perfection.
For me, language was never about sounding elite — it was about being understood.
I hope my story resonates with you.
Thank you."

🎤 Anchor (Aradhya) — Concluding Lines

"Aryan’s story isn’t just his — it’s a mirror for every student, every friend, and every voice
that’s ever felt unheard because of how they spoke, not what they meant.
Let’s remember —
Language is not a label of intelligence.
It’s a tool for connection.
So the next time someone stumbles on their words…
Pause the judgment.
And press play on empathy.
Because sometimes, the voice we laugh at today…
Might just be the voice the world listens to tomorrow."

Post-Skit Reflection

[Advoay]
We hope that what just unfolded made a few minds shift,
And a few hearts soften.

Principal’s Address

[Shravya]
We now invite our respected Principal,
To address this gathering with his thoughtful and inspiring words.
([Principal's address])

School Anthem

[Advoay]
Let’s now rise in unison,
Stand at attention with dignity and discipline,
As we sing our School Anthem, with pride and passion.
([School Anthem])

Closing Line
[Shravya]
“May we walk out of this assembly not just speaking words,
But listening with empathy,
Not just hearing voices,
But understanding hearts.
Have a wonderful and mindful day!”
