Mechanics for the Slogan-Making Contest
1. Eligibility:
o Category A: Open to students from Grade 7 to 9 (medium of expression: Filipino).
o Category B: Open to students from Grade 10 to 12 (medium of expression: English).
2. Theme:
The slogan should revolve around the given theme, which will be provided at the start of the
contest.
3. Language:
o Category A (Grade 7-9): The slogan must be written in Filipino.
o Category B (Grade 10-12): The slogan must be written in English.
4. Duration:
Participants will be given 1 hour to create and submit their slogan.
5. Submission:
Slogans must be written on the official contest paper provided by the organizers. Participants
must submit their entry before the time limit expires.
6. Originality:
All entries must be original and created on the spot. Plagiarism or copying will result in
immediate disqualification.
7. Number of Words:
The slogan should not exceed 15 words.
8. Presentation:
Slogans should be clearly written, legible, and neatly presented.
9. Judging:
Entries will be judged based on the criteria below. The decision of the judges is final and
irrevocable.
Criteria for Judging
1. Relevance to the Theme (40%)
The slogan must clearly reflect and be connected to the theme provided.
2. Creativity and Originality (30%)
The slogan should present a fresh, unique, and imaginative perspective.
3. Clarity and Impact (20%)
The message of the slogan should be clear and easy to understand, leaving a strong impact on the
reader.
4. Grammar and Language (10%)
Proper use of language and grammar according to the category’s medium (Filipino for Category
A, English for Category B).

Mechanics for the Poster-Making Contest
1. Eligibility:
The contest is open to all students from Grade 7 to 12.
2. Theme:
The poster must align with the given theme, which will be announced at the start of the contest.
3. Medium:
Participants are free to use any traditional art medium (colored pencils, crayons, watercolors, oil
pastels, etc.). No digital tools or designs are allowed.
4. Materials:
o Contestants will be provided with a standard-sized illustration board (15x20 inches).
o Participants must bring their own art materials.
o Use of pre-drawn or printed images is strictly prohibited.
5. Duration:
Participants will have 2 hours to create and submit their poster.
6. Submission:
Posters must be finished and submitted before the allotted time expires. Each entry should have
the participant’s name and grade level written on the back.
7. Originality:
All entries must be original and created on the spot. Plagiarism or copying of other works will
result in immediate disqualification.
8. Judging:
Entries will be judged based on the criteria outlined below. The decision of the judges is final and
irrevocable.
Criteria for Judging
1. Relevance to the Theme (40%)
The poster must clearly express the given theme and effectively communicate its message.
2. Creativity and Originality (30%)
The design should demonstrate an original and innovative approach, standing out from other
entries.
3. Artistic Skill (20%)
The poster should show a good command of the chosen medium, including neatness, use of color,

Scrap Art Competition Mechanics
1. Eligibility:
o One (1) contestant per section
2. Preparation and Materials:
o Contestants should arrive at the venue at least 30 minutes before the competition
begins to ensure enough time for material checks and final instructions.
o Contestants must present their official contest slip upon entry to the contest
venue.
o Each contestant should bring their own materials, which include:
Glue gun or other adhesive materials
Up to 10 plastic bottles (any size, but not exceeding 1.5L)
Coloring materials (e.g., paints, watercolors, spray paints)
Pentel pens, extension wire
Up to 5 tin cans (max size: 250ml)
Used plastic wrappers, cellophane, and paper boxes
Tie wire, pliers, scissors, cutters
½ size illustration board for the base of the scrap art
A garbage bag for excess materials
o Note: Borrowing materials from other participants will not be allowed during the
competition.
3. Theme:
o The contest theme will be revealed by the event facilitator on the day of the
competition.
4. Time Limit:
o Participants will be given a maximum of two (2) hours to complete their scrap art.
Early submission is allowed, but late entries will not be granted extra time.
5. Artwork Specifications:
o The artwork must be a three-dimensional (3D) creation.
o The ½ size illustration board will be used as the base for the scrap art.
6. Judging Criteria:
o Originality and Creativity: 40%
o Relevance to the Theme: 40%
o Overall Aesthetic and Neatness: 20%
7. Clean-Up Policy:
o Contestants are expected to adhere to the “Clean as You Go” (CLAYGO) policy,
ensuring that their work areas are tidy after the competition.
8. Awards:
o Prizes will be awarded to the top three (3) participants.
o The judges' decisions are final and cannot be appealed.
