Chapter 1: Number System & Simplification

Formula: Laws of Indices a^m * a^n = a^(m+n), a^m / a^n = a^(m-n).

Example: Simplify (2^5 * 3^2) / (2^3 * 3) = 12.


Chapter 2: Ratio, Proportion & Percentage
Formula: Ratio a:b = a/b. If a:b = c:d then ad=bc.

Example: If x:y=3:4 and x+y=56, then x=24, y=32.


Chapter 3: Profit, Loss & Simple Interest
Formula: Profit% = (Profit/CP)*100, SI = (P*r*t)/100.

Example: CP=400, SP=460 → Profit=60, Profit%=15%.


Chapter 4: Time, Speed & Distance
Formula: Speed = Distance/Time.

Example: Car covers 180 km in 3 hours → Speed=60 km/h.


Chapter 5: Time & Work
Formula: Work = Rate * Time. Combined Rate = 1/a + 1/b.

Example: A=12 days, B=15 days → Together=6 2/3 days.


Chapter 6: Algebra (Equations & Quadratic)
Formula: Quadratic ax^2+bx+c=0 → Roots = (-b±√(b^2-4ac))/(2a).

Example: x^2-5x+6=0 → (x-2)(x-3)=0 → Roots=2,3.


Chapter 7: Sequences & Series
Formula: n-th term = a+(n-1)d, Sum S_n = n/2[2a+(n-1)d].

Example: a=5,d=3,n=10 → a_10=32, S_10=185.


Chapter 8: Geometry & Mensuration
Formula: Right Triangle Hypotenuse^2 = a^2+b^2.

Example: Legs 6,8 → Hyp=10, Area=24.


Chapter 9: Trigonometry Basics
Formula: sin^2θ+cos^2θ=1, tanθ=sinθ/cosθ.

Example: sinθ=3/5 → cosθ=4/5, tanθ=3/4.


Chapter 10: Coordinate Geometry
Formula: Line Equation y-y1=m(x-x1).

Example: Through (2,3), slope=4 → y=4x-5.


Chapter 11: Probability & Statistics
Formula: Probability = Favourable/Total outcomes.

Example: Die → even={2,4,6}, P=3/6=1/2.
