151 “All Glory, Laud and Honor” 491 “Now Thank We All Our God”

1. All glory, laud, and honor. 1. Come, ye thankful people, come,

To thee, Redeemer, King, Raise the song of harvest home;
To whom the lips of children All is safely gathered in,
Made sweet hosannas ring: Ere the winter storms begin.
Thou art the King of Israel, God our Maker doth provide
Thou David's royal Son, For our wants to be supplied;
Who in the Lord's name comest, Come to God's own temple, come,
The King and blessed One. Raise the song of harvest home.

2. The company of angels 2. We ourselves are God's own field,

Arc praising thee on high: Fruit unto His praise to yield;
And mortal men and all things Wheat and tares together sown
Created make reply: Unto joy or sorrow grown;
The people of the Hebrews First the blade and then the ear,
With palms before Thee went; Then the full corn shall appear;
Our praise and prayer and anthems Lord of harvest, grant that we
Before thee we present. Wholesome grain and pure may be.

3. To thee, before Thy passion 3. For the Lord our God shall come,
They sang their hymns of praise: And shall take His harvest home:
To Thee, now high exalted, From His field shall purge away
Our melody we raise: All that doth offend that day,
Thou didst accept their praises: Give His angels charge at last
Accept the praise we bring, In the fire the tares to cast;
Who in all good delightest, But the fruitful ears to store
Thou good and gracious King. Amen. In His garner ever more. Amen
