What is Factual Report Text ?

• Factual Report text is a report containing the facts,


rather than provide theoritical or personal
interpretation.
Teks laporan faktual adalah suatu laporan yang mengandung fakta daripada memberikan teori atau
interpretasi pribadi
B. The Purpose of Factual report text (Tujuan)

• The Purpose of Report text is to present information about


something they generally describes on tire class of things,
whether natural or made. For example “mammals, rocks, plants,
etc”
Tujuan dari teks laporan faktual adalah untuk menyajikan informasi tentang sesuatu yang
mereka umumnya menggambarkan seluruh BAGIAN dari hal-hal, baik alami maupun buatan.
Misalnya Mamalia, batu, tanaman, dll.
C. Generic structure ( Strukture Umum)

• 1. General Classification – statements that describe the common subject


of the report, common description, and classification (objek yang
digambarkan biasanya bersifat umum dan tidak spesifik)
• 2. Description – tells what the phenomenon under discussion; in terms of
parts, qualitifies, habits or behaviors (Hal-hal yang meliputi ciri objek
tersebut yang biasanya meliputi parts (bagian), custom (kebiasaan), dan
Function (fungsi)
D. LANGUAGE FEATURES (ciri-ciri kebahasaan)

• 1. memperkenalkan aspek grup atau umum berarti fokus pada benda


umum.
• 2. menggunakan simple Present tense
• 3. berisi fakta-fakta ilmiah
• 4. menggunakan kata penghubung
EXAMPLE OF REPORT TEXT

The Tsunami Tragedi of Sunda Strait


On December 22nd, 2018, a fairly large tsunamis in the sunda strait
that hit the coastal region of the coast of Banten and Lampung.
This happens because the experiencing the eruption son of
Krakatau. This happens takes up quite a lot of the victim, the victim
died 426 and 7.202 injured and 23 people disappear because of this
incident
