Creating Rural Entrepreneurship
CSC Scheme
CSCs are the integral part of Digital India initiative.
CSC is an IT enabled front-end delivery access points
for Government, private and social sector services
to rural citizens of India in an integrated and
seamless manner.
CSC is managed and operated by Local
youth/person their by providing opportunities for
direct and indirect employment in rural India.
No capital support is provided by Government for
setting up of CSC.
CSC Special Purpose Vehicle
CSC e-Governance Services India Limited is a Special Purpose Vehicle set up by the
Ministry of Electronics & IT to oversee the implementation of the CSC scheme.
CSC SPV provides a centralized collaborative framework for delivery of services through
CSCs.
MeitY has a “golden share” in CSC-SPV and Secretary MeitY is the chairperson of the
company.

Digital Seva Platform

Centralised platform designed under CSC Scheme 2.0 to enable the Service delivery
through CSCs.
More than 400 different G2C and B2C services have been integrated with DSP
On an average Rs 30 Crores daily transactions being done through DSP
Service listing categorisation basis target groups (like agriculture for farmers,
education for students etc.)

data sharing;

Being the part of Digital India initiative, CSC SPV
proposes to support Department/Organization for design
and development of technical solution without any cost
to department
CSC Wallet
CSC enables a digital marketplace for our network of operators arming them with a digital wallet
called ‘CSC WALLET’; they can use to make payments for products and service purchased on the
portal.
