Organizer: Nicola Tavares Starts and manages the webinar Manages audience questions Panelist: Those who have been designated to present information to the audience. Can control their audio by muting and un-muting themselves May share their screen with the audience Presenter: The person who is currently sharing their screen One presenter at a time Can be a panelist or the organizer Attendee: The webinar audience of the webinar On mute during the entire session Cannot share their screen

Step 1: Signing into the webinar

Before signing on to the webinar:

Open up your email to your webinar invitation that you received You will receive a separate email with the password

Signing on to the webinar

This warning-security pop-up box will be displayed. Click Yes

The session will begin once Reggie or Lisa signs in

Sign in 25 minutes before scheduled start time of the webinar to test your audio and ask any questions to organizers. Have your PowerPoint Presentation open and minimized on your taskbar. Turn your phone ringer off or forward your messages to voicemail. Close your email and pop-up items at the bottom right-hand side of your task-bar.

Your control panel is made up of several blocks The control panel will extend down your screen. To minimize certain blocks, click on the plus or minus sign located on the upper left hand side of each block.

Grab tab Click arrows to open or minimize control panel View presentations full screen Microphone on / mute Dont use hold on the telephone Choose telephone

Choose VoIP if you have a headset with a microphone


Check your sound before the presentation starts

If you have any questions, type them here

Select who you want to send this message to

Presenter: Screen control has just been delegated to you


Click on your PowerPoint presentation to open it full screen. A pop-up box will appear asking if you would like to be presenter.

Click the drop down arrow, show my screen, then clean screen. Hit F5 to start your PowerPoint presentation.
