I like how cost-effective Freshsales is; for the cost, you're getting an entire suite with many features like sequences and email bulk facility. It was really easy to set up everything as it provides step-by-step guidance. We created accounts fields and company, and Freshsales provides templates for other things. We tested email health without connecting the inboxes, then tested it with DKIM, SPF & DMARC setup on Freshsales. You can use Sequences for sending emails using certain logic, like sending follow-ups to clients who opened emails. It allows you to send automated email campaigns, and with bulk email, we can send a single email as a campaign and personalize every aspect of each email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Detailed reporting of the email metrics can be highly improved. Due to their inability of showing detailed report, I had to create a separate email metrics dashboard personally using python. Their email open and click rates are the most basic, even the free HubspotCRM allows such detailed email metrics. You are only allowed the basic information, making the email metric not so reliable. I like Freshsales because it's easy to use and organize, and I can customize it to the way I like to work. The ability to make my own filters is valuable, allowing me to see leads that have not been contacted in a while, fresh leads, and those that were potentially closed on the resolution side of my business that need to be addressed. There's a lot of value in how intuitive some of the setup is. I also know it integrates well with other tools. My peers on the sales sector have expressed better sentiment towards their previous CRM ecosystem called "Salesforce". Could be a good competitor to analyse.

It is very detrimental to develop apps for Freshsales, since upon making a get request of a sale for exempla, returns a specific json structured body, upon uploading an app to production, that json structure is completely* different, adding new structures (data becomes the top object), moving vars to other objects(in case of contact info, moves it to association obj), changing var names entirely (custom_field to custom_fields) etc, making it so if you'd like to have a version of your app to run locally, you'd have to make one version for running locally, and one version with the proper alteration to publish live, making it so you can only test it by constantly publishing new versions of the app, since you cant test the live version locally
