"Slack is the best-in-class internal communication on the market today"

What do you like best about Slack?

The interface of the communication tool and platform is the best on the market today. The channels, shortcuts, and plug-ins offered my Slack are also the best that I have experienced using the breadth of internal communication tools. The ease of integration with services such as Github and Bitbucket also makes this tool very powerful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

There are no salient details that I dislike about Slack, but I would love the addition of more plugins as well over the course of this next year. I also wish that Slack offered a calendar integration easily. The cost would easily be very cumbersome given the number of licenses that we needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?

Effective and efficient communication across teams within the organization without the need of email is certainly the core business benefit that we have realized using Slack. Integrations with our productivity and collaboration tools including Dropbox, Google Drive, Notion, and Miro make the tool very strong to use. What do you like best about Slack?

I find Slack valuable for keeping communications organized, which is a significant benefit for my cleaning business. The capability to have different channels for different conversations helps to prevent discussions from becoming overwhelming. This feature allows for easy navigation through channels, making it straightforward to see what conversations were going on within each channel, thereby solving some communication issues. What do you dislike about Slack?

I found setting up Slack quite difficult and overwhelming. It wasn't user-friendly for me, especially as someone who is not very tech-savvy. Additionally, the notification system is not very effective since my staff often miss notifications, necessitating separate communication to remind them to check Slack.
