Where to Use Airport Check-In in Queen Alia International Airport
The check-in counter is located in the Departures Terminal, Section A. Here, you can get personal assistance with flight changes, upgrades, and support with checking necessary documents.
For travelers who have already checked in online, the baggage drop is at counters A1-A3, while counters A16-A32 are for all RJ destinations. US and Canada flights are counters A26-A32.
How to Use Airport Check-In
If you have excess baggage, fees can be paid at the counter, or you can purchase the service online beforehand at a discounted rate!

After you've completed the simple check-in process, you can proceed to immigration, then security, and finally to your boarding gate.
When to Use Airport Check-in
The latest time passengers can be accepted for travel as per the counter closure prior to departure time is as follows:
- From Istanbul, Cairo, and Tunis to Amman: 60 minutes
- From Algeria to all destinations: 75 minutes
- From Chicago to all destinations: 80 minutes
- From Amman to all destinations excluding Aqaba: 60 minutes
- To Aqaba from Amman: 30 minutes
* For Aqaba: Passengers must arrive at the airport check-in counter at least 1 hour and half before departure.
* For other destinations: Passengers must arrive at the airport check-in counter no later than 3 hours before departure.
* For Codeshare flights: Passengers can arrive 3-4 hours prior to departure, and no later than when the counter closes 60 minutes prior departure, instead of 45 minutes if with RJ. Counter closes 30 minutes for Aqaba flights prior to departure.
