This is a good watch. The premise is pretty different from what we are used in isekai, because as was said before here, MC is NOT OP. In fact, we are more used to see him getting beaten than beating. That's because the premise is not of a all-powerful character “Marty Stu” style, but the one of a man that got traumatized over dying, and was prepared to do anything to only die of old age! If you're expecting a lot of action, or great adventures, this plot will disapoint you a bit.
But this season is the preparation for when the story gets really good! All the “training and grinding” finished, and at the end of the season the MC finally finds out a mission, and a reason to set on an adventure. That's why the gold of this story is yet to come! There must be another season! The arc of this one was properly developed and closed, but alone it feels a bit dull. So that's why I really expect a sequence!

Not bad. Kind of your typical isekai about average guy getting transported/reincarnated into another world. I love isekai stories and read and still read quite a lot. What I like in this is that the MC is not instantly OP and that it does not turn into a harem anime with your usual gaggle of bit busted scanily clad girls by the 2nd episode. There are some standart clichés like the female knight squad and there also is some of the typical silly anime humor, but otherwise it's pretty tame, with barely any blood or death and no gore, excesive brutality ect. It's more light hearted fun and doesn't really go very deep with it's story or characters, but without drifting off into cringe or stupidity. Because of it's decent but nothing extraordinary or extravagant level, it probably falls into the shadow of more well known isekais. I still hope for maybe another season.

I really enjoyed this. There's the growth period, learning new things, establishing relationships with the characters, and upsetting the status quo when it's poor. Also a nice underlying "side effect" that keeps you wondering the whole series.
This needs another season, but I'm not sure we'll get it.

Yes, it's another reincarnated-in-a-fantasy-world anime, BUT, this one doesn't degenerate into sappiness or harem nonsense. The MC is NOT all-powerful, but he IS strong, or, he becomes strong through very hard work and drinking this bizarre concoction called "Substance X". Be grateful that smellovision does not exist.

One of a few recent isekais you would most certainly wish to see a second and forthcoming seasons of. In some aspects it's silly, some are naive, but it still is solid nevertheless. And you are not getting bored of character being too OP or too stupid.

The plot is standard isekai, but it is a really entertaining one. It has lots so silly moment that is very enjoyable, and character development is fun and strong.

This was an enjoyable iteration of the MC being reincarnated. What made this enjoyable was the MC being a healer/adventurer and how other healers exploit their services to others but the MC did not take advantage of his abilities. There isn't really anything that this show does that sets itself apart from the other reincarnation shows, but the MC was likable, pacing was good and the adventures were entertaining. Overall, this show was solid and I wouldn't mind another season.
