Takuya and Rika are coworkers in a travel agency in Tokyo. They're both single, but they don't mind, since they're introverts with fulfilling lives at home. Unfortunately, now their job is looking to staff an office in Alaska, and non-married employees are the first to be considered. Rika is desperate to avoid the transfer and goes to Takuya with an idea: if they pretend they're getting married in a year, they can stay in Tokyo. The only problem is the two of them barely know each other! If these two quiet coworkers "fake" a relationship, will it turn into something real?

Better and somewhat smarter than it looks. More comedy than romance, but both are present.

Be ready: several decisions made by the leads are idiotic. There is a good explanation for this. Both leads are infected with the same virus of half-assed self-doubt that completely obliterated the brain of Kazuya from Rental Girlfriend. Thankfully, Takuya-kun and Rika-chan are still in the curable stage and we do get to see them act in a healthy manner eventually, and it didn't even took them an eternity or two. That was kinda refreshing, actually.

The story was nice and slow, both MCs have their serious issues interacting with people in general, and the show was conveying it in a very convincing and entertaining way.
Animation was very good, support characters had their charm, the story was easy to digest and the soundtrack was complimenting to the story in a very good way.
That's a 7.5/10 for me - which is very good, though I'd REALLY have wanted a little less rushed ending, maybe even just another episode to really wrap things up, since I highly doubt we're going to see a 2nd season for this show.
