Not really "must see"... I'd say, "must give it a try", at least!
Very good anime, especially if you like mahou shoujo and other works of Fujiko F. Fujio (Doraemon). Even if you don't, give it a try!
Mami is very likeable and I like the relationship between Takahashi and her. The OST is amazing too (I found it on archive . org). Even though I rarely like to watch anime with > 30 episodes, this one is surprisingly good with the pacing and the story/topics of the episodes never really got boring for me. Beware: There are some nude scenes which isn't everyone's cup of tea (though I didn't mind them).
Sadly, there are no subs for the majority of episodes.
